i think that EA will realise that the feedback for no CASt is extrememly negative, and is putting thousands of fans off the sims 4. EA is into getting more money than they need from us, so they will probably realise this may affect their sales and put CASt in or something similar at LEAST
in my opinion for the sims 3 the character models didnt improve much... i was slightly disappointed by how they looked but other aspects always made it a fun game to play even if it tanked my moms computer when playing it as a kid lol
Hahaa, I think is really funny that they showed gameplay footage many months before the release of the game. They did the same with TS2. But now, the game is going to be released in 6 weeks and we haven't seen a single non-staged gameplay footage. I don't know whether that's funny or sad, but it's certainly unusual. It shows how rushed this game really is.

It is too stripped bare that you have to purchase an additional expansion pack for "hamsters" when it could have been included in pets expansion pack already just like they were used to. Oh, but you probably don't realize you are getting ripped off because you are stupid anyway. Well, go and enjoy your laundry pack! Which had never been an expansion pack on its own and was free in sims3!

most of the "new" features from the sims 4 like: placing pictures on the wall differently, or placing/turning furnitures how you want with holding the "alt", having different hairstyles for different outfits ect. also worked on the sims 3
I remember my friends showing this to me in like, the beginning of 2009 when we just played TS2 for console, and I got so excited about it. I convinced my dad for weeks to get it for me, and I got it August of 2009. I feel pretty successful in getting most of the expansions from then on xD
Apparently it was priority issues. I guess they didn't have time to actually put it in since they were working on all the other new features that came with the Sims 3 at that time. :(

Everything in Create A Sim was included except the feature of changing your Sim's height. No problem, that's where Paralives comes in the picture. Yes, they finally included height! It's hard to believe that another life simulation game that's not part of the Sim's franchise that they beat them to it.
I think that it would be cool in the sims 5 if you could create your own clothes and hair. And they should put create a style back in. Also they should give players the power to spontaneously kill other sims.

When I first bought sims two, I got adicted to it. After about half a year of hard core playing , my creativity ran out. Bored out of my mind, I singlehandedly built a whole city and then went on a sim-killing rampage. Not a bloody sim survived.
The gameplay looks different because the was the beta version of TS3. The new CAS is improved for June 2009! This is beta 1.2 from August 2008, and they released this video I'm November 2008
This is the version they put out lol. This was probably played on one of EA’s extremely high-quality computers, so they had to downgrade it for normal use. The only thing different here is the lighting lol. Everything else is as promised.

its sad though that they changed the look of sunset valley. I've expected the Beta Sunset Valley is better than Final Sunset Valley. Otherwise i still enjoy the final version of the world and the game
I agree with u. I also think that your game will run faster, smoother and better with the original base game, stuff packs and EP. If people buy the original instead of downloading it, they will not likely get all the virus and crap.
It's kind of annoying how a lot of stuff from this footage was taken out from the actual release e.g. the playground for kids, the clothes shop etc. but also I'm very happy they changed the UI. Hopefully they do this with The Sims 4, as well as improve upon The Sims 3. Also why was it postponed 4 months? 0.o
@HelloKittyChloe This game was changed up a bit after this trailer. As you heard in the end, he announced it was going to be in stores In February 2009, but they extended the release date to change things up.

The sims 3 has some features that I really like and it has loads better graphics but one thing I don't like are how hard it is to find some of the things on it - but I've only been playing it a few days so it might just be me but I'm in love with this!!!!
I think this was just to show how to create a sim and how to just go around the game. I dont think it was meant to mean to say- ALL OF THESE WILL BE IN THE GAME! It would be cool to have them all in the game, but hey, you cant have it your way all the time! I love playing The Sims 3!! Its amazing! I love making Sims my way! : )
The other people, townies, are already created with their own personalities, connections and sometimes, homes. Its really fun to find crazy ones and screw their life up! :)

hey hey guys stop saying things are missing or things are added on. the game was released in lateish 2009. look at the date of upload! there where bound to be a few changed to make the game compatible on your computers.
The Sims 3 definitely offers the most complex, most free, most realistic, most deep and dynamic Sims experience ever created. Period.

I love the first beta. The UI the everything. Afterwards it was replaced by the June 2009 version that was so buggy and plain.

For the iPod it has just as much detail as in the PC version. I do highly recommend you get it.
I remember when i got the sims 3 in 2009 i loved it, and i'm still playing it in 2013. Almost 4 years ago.

It was still in development when they made this. So it doesn't look EXACTLY like this, but the gameplay is virtually the same. :)
