Father had a Safari. Gave us no problems. Only servicing, nothing more. Ran one lakh kms. Then bought Safari Storme. Again, no problems. Only servicing, nothing more. Ran 1.6 lakh kms. Then I bought a Sumo Grande. Again, no problems. Ran 60k. Then father bought Harrier. No problems. Only servicing. Has run 70k. Then I bought a Nano. Has run 40k, no problems. Then I bought a Tigor. 50k and runs like a charm. No problems, only servicing. There are happy customers like us too. Because we are satisfied, we go back to a Tata showroom. No patriotism, no jingoism, just a plain regular satisfied customer.
Nexon didn't appeal to my liking and Harrier looked expensive. 5 ⭐ safety was a must in my priorities. And, I wanted a car with mature looks, so I went for VW Taigun. Personally, I like the looks of the harrier and the Safari very much.
8:10 Sunderdeep ji, Tigor is almost a Coupe design as well. I feel Curvv is the competitor to City / Verna / Virtus that Tata never launched. They turned their Sedan into a Coupe SUV just to be able to ride the SUV wave but they might not be expecting the sales of this to reach Creta challenging levels. The real Creta challenger will be the Sierra that will probably be also based on this same ALFA platform with similar powertrains but with more classical SUV looks.
Tata cannot compete with Creta Seltos unless until they get right with their QC issues, out of 10 cars, they have only 2 Cars which have no issues and this is true
BS..I have Safari ACC plus.. it is also the third Tata car in my family and we have had no big issues. The only issue I have is too much technology in my current car. I think Tata enjoys a brand reputation that no other brand has for its philanthropic mindset and safety which makes some other brands jealous so they and their buyers spread misinformation.
@@theonlymanofsteel well accept it or not, that's the truth, consider yourself lucky to have a good QC car, in my immediate family there are 4 Tata cars out of which only one person is not facing issues, the rest are daily facing some or the other issues

Awesome analysis Paaji as usual. Hopefully they launch it with LFP battery tech. That would be awesome. TATA is Taking good advantage of their ALPHA architecture platform by launching multiple models as pointed by you VW/SKODA need to learn from them as they have flexible platform as well MQB-AO-IN. Hopefully Tata brings in new range of ICE engines as well. SUV coupe design is in now. TATA is coming up with CURV. Citroen is Coming up with BASSALT. Ford has showcased CAPRI outside India. Ford Capri design looks just awesome. And Amazing part is they have borrowed the platform from Volkswagen EV as outside India Ford has a Tie up with Volkswagen 🤘🏻💯

Without wasting any time its very tough to compete in this segment for tata because:- Creta seltos:- good in features reliability and good looks🎉 Kushaq taigun:- drive quality+performance and safety 🦺 Elevate:- decent looks and reliability 🧰 Grand vitara hyryder:- mileage and cng purpose 😮 Astor:- only having good interior but not better than creta seltos Ev:- no need byd atto3, zs ev and creta /carens ev are very powerful and features rich option. @@saidityaplays3804 yes , but I think. They have a lots of testing let's hope for best but according to drive quality german cars takes an edge and even koreans also 🥳🥂
Kushaq, Taigun and Elevate have really poor sales. Creta, Grand Vitara, Seltos and Toyota Hyryder are eating up all the market in the segment. Don't know about Tata but Mahindra SUV in this segment would sell really well.
I am not sure if it is a proper competition for the mid suv segment but surely it is a direct competitor for the dying or almost dead Sedan market, so RIP slavia, Virtus, City, Verna and Ciaz 😢 !
Dude city verna are used by executives of small companies, and youth too. Do you think this ugly box with body roll will replace them sedan which has highest stability
Tata has amazing product range and right strategy. I am a Tata owner and their service is pathetic. I went to buy an Harrier, was a given a price list and asked to check for features myself. The sales person was not ready to show the vehicle, explain features or even talk in a right way.

If this car comes as VFM package then it would surely create chaos to kushaq, taigun customers. Firstly skoda vw are slogging to sell their cars n secondly they themselves doesn't know whether they'll sustain in india in the long run (wrt skoda statement)
I believe it will gobble up Creta and Seltos sales by quite an extent. If they bring in CNG, they will also decimate Maruti Grand Vitara. The new EV platform is quite promising and I have high hopes. I see no reason to go for Honda Elevate now. VW 2.0 should largely remain unaffected. MG Aster is a useless product and it should instead be introduced in EV.
atto 3 is years ahead of tata in EV tech, fit and feel. Even mg zs ev base model is better than nexon . Only way tata is fighting them is by spreading negative pr againt byd and mg and using patriotism card(especially when tata uses chinese battery pack and many other components ).
nothing to excite curvv is nothing but nexon with extended boot with panaromic sunroof, nexons same interior with ergnomic flaws with different color options also tata not launching petrol version of curvv this year only diesel and EV will be launched this year.Tata still need 1-2 years to debut their new TGDI engine in their vehicles so petrol version of curvv will debut late 2025 or 2026.maybe this year they may use their oldskool petrol engine in curvv.

This is litteraly the design of tigor adapted to an SUV. Although Tigor was pitched as a fastback sedan, it has that coupe-ish look.
