I can see why people think she's a baby bird. Those peeps and whistles sound very chick-like!
I think those noises and tail-flicking are holdover behaviors from when chicks want food from their parents. Its the same reason why dogs wag their tails and adult wolves don't. Wild animals grow out of baby behaviors while many domestic animals don't because they rely on humans to provide food.

Fun fact about falcons that I learned in my Biology 2 class in college: Recent DNA evidence shows that the falcons closest relative is actually the parrot! They are sibling species who diverged due to where their ancestors chose to acquire their proteins. The parrots are descended of the ones who chose nuts and seeds as their protein source and developed strong beaks meant to crack open hard shells. While the falcons are descended of the ones who chose to get their protein from other creatures and developed sharp beaks for cutting into and tearing up the flesh and meat. The reason for this choice is likely due to what was the easiest and most convenient source to acquire based on their individual habitats, as well as what threats they faced.
Ooh, didnt knew that, makes sense 😅
That's super cool, thanks science side of youtube

"That's a pigeon cosplaying."
I love birds. They are fascinating and beautiful. Tanzi must be one of the cutest birds I've ever seen. Thank you for featuring her today. Warms my heart. By the way, your tulips are beyond cheerful!!! Thank you, I needed cheering. Stay safe and healthy. Thanks for all you do to care for the animals and educate people about them.
Tanzi is precious and so beautiful, thank you for sharing! It looked like a gorgeous Spring day for her with all the pretty tulips too. Be well Tanzi!❤️
I love the flowers and she is sooo cutee❤💖
Animals and birds are important to our environment and our lives. We can learn so much from them and they can inspire us in many good ways. So hope deforestation, trafficking and poaching can all be stopped!
She is so majestic and beautiful! I can see why she is so special to you all.
An informative presentation!
Thanks so much for sharing this video. I really enjoyed it.
i love birds of prey, but never heard of this bird before. i love her! she’s adorable ❤️
Why people always ask "who is its favorite keeper"? They probably love everyone.
Dumb question, always comes up. Who cares
Love falcons. They're the best birds of prey.
Just saw a clip of a pigmy falcon so I wanted to learn more so here we are! 😍
So amazing!
She’s a beautiful,vocalist!😍
Her tail is beautiful. If I had watched in real time, I would have asked about that.

I know right
Very cheerful!
I love falcons... And now I have my favorite bird... Ever!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
So pretty and never stop talking!
She's precious
Oh my gosh, how cute
Powerfull pigmy falcon ❤
I love this channel! I am late!!!
Absolute fire content
Also I assume without looking the yellow around here eyes helps with sight and blocking light much like a football players eye black
Soooooo cute
Beautiful
Wow that's a lot of food for such a tiny bird, she must have a big stomach :-)
Small body means fast metabolism 😉
Insects are TINY!!!
it is very very cute! :)
I like the hippo
Even though it is so small we must remember it is a Falcon so she deserves our respect.
i want one!
I believe they go live at 3pm EST on Facebook.
I see medley every time
I would like to know how much a copy costs
hi my name is Bella is that a Bird?
you should come to the middle east to see our falcons !
Hi CZ&BG!!!
ADORABLE Falcon!!!
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Can they be used to manage pest on farms?
finally something small and fuzzy.
Why he_she make that nois??
Same as tanzi
Do they have different colors
She is pretty, and I like her. kerenor
She's talking because she trusts, and wants to own you. Try talking on the phone when your parrot is in the room... Lol..
Nice job!
Does she have a flock?
😍😍😍😍🇨🇱👍
is she an imprint, I see the band but she might have been imported? Any captive breeders in the US?
Dust bathes help kill pests
Why they so loud
Question from my 7-year old daughter, who is practicing distance learning. "Do they eat bunnies?"
Wait until you have a vocal large falcon or gos... you will pray for a quite bird... don't ask me how I know....
I see a people that take a carama
Are they endangered why is she at the zoo?
They are not endangered. They are of "least concern" on the scale right now.
Omg, she uses dry shampoo. Lol
7:25 excuse me what do you mean winter in Africa? I dont think theres winter there let alone snow...
Winter still happens just no snow, climate probably gets a bit cooler.
@@insomniacs5138 You do get snow on the high mountains even at the equator - such as Mt Kilamanjaro
Is Tanzi a female?
Yes she is.
aaaaaawwwww
I feel like crying after my Eurasian hobby died😭😭😭😭 it was so well trained..like it wouldn't fly even if I take her out
You should have flown and conditioned the bird to be kept fit if not they would end up having life threatening diseases, yours died most likely due to the lack of excersises training them to not fly is not something we falconers will.ever advice if you want to keep a falcon
@@shaheershams2110 buddy..I have a falcon business...and I own 23 falcons in my own home..I'm not cruel not to take them out..here in UAE it's the national bird..I treat them like kings and queen..All my falcons are well trained to be outside..now what I meant by my hobby was..I trained it since it was a baby..now the bond between us was close..it would never leave my side..and by that it's said hyperbolicly...now she'd fly if she see a prey and I say go..also..what I meant by taking her out wasn't about training...my sentence intention was when I take her out around the streets..or like just a general walk at downtown..she'd just sit on my shoulder look around..
