Hi Tim it has been very cold. Maybe this weekend we'll get thawed out. Your mom bless her heart she tried. Glad you got your camper under pinned . Yes it was 9 here one morning. Been using my electric blanket. I use my 2 mini splits and it still gets cold in her. Taters watching. I know you miss Nero he was such a sweet boy. I wish he had come back home. This cold weather is driving everyone crazy. We are at -21 Celsius and running out to the garbage is a chore. We are going to get house crazy staying in all the time.

We always put heavy blankets under our sheets in Michigan. Down comforters or quilts. We had -30 below sleeping bags for our April camping in a tent at Sucker camp in Omer Michigan.

It doesn't matter if other states get colder. Like you said. Your state doesn't normally get that cold. It's definitely crazy weather all over for sure. Say a prayer for my oldest son. He's a full service gas attendant. He will be working till 10:30pm tonight and we will be down to -14 before wind chills. I will say one thing. I love your sense of humor. lol Stay warm

When we camped we'd put an electric blanket down and then put our sleeping bag opened on top then blankets soooooo warm

I SLEEP IN A SLEEPING BAG IN MY CAMPER. I ZIP IT UP IN THE WINTER AND USE IT AS A BLANKET THE REST OF THE TIME. WORKS REAL GREAT.

I was just reading what I printed and the computer said where the neck booties that doesn't even make sense maybe I had said muck luck I don't know I'm not going to erase the whole thing I have to do it over again but just erase neck on that error.

I'm from Michigan & a widow on limited income so with prices I have to pinch pennies more than normal.
I was a stay at home Mom & my husband did not want a factory job so we didn't have lots of money we had to budget so we could go to our boys HS sport events etc. those were more important to us.
All that to say I dial back my gas furnace thermostat to keep the bill manageable. Sure am blessed to have no mortgage just maintenance bills & not out on the streets. God has been so good, I am blessed.
Had we been able to start over I'm sure we would have found a way to budget savings better.
One thing I was frustrated about was our life Ins. When we got older & had paid for ins since we were 21 & found you can't afford it when they get you to retirement age they raise to pmt. Cost jumps to thousands of dollars a month not the $50 when we were young. Had to let it go & buy something just enough to bury us. That's all his policy covered were the basics.

I understand you, I'm originally from Michigan. I became disabled in 2003, very young. My late husband cut trees down, and was a pipe fitter. I had Medicare but he didn't have any insurance let alone burial. He passed away in 2013 at 50. My mother in law paid for his cremation. It's hard on a very limited income I'm 60, making 1087 a month in Arizona taking care of my mom. Thank goodness she has my dad's pension and SS. ❤❤

I think we're going to have an early spring hopefully for you because the birds are just chirping all the time all this week. You ought to wear those neck booties there for men and women didn't in the old days they call him Mukluks. Then when you get up it's not so cold on the floor I think the bottom of the muck luck has a little bit of substance see if they still make them online.🤩🤩

E collars for dogs are crawl no excuses if you can't train a dog without it you shouldn't have one
You must not have taken any formal dog training classes recently. The really good ones all use them. You can make them vibrate and beep and not shock. They work so well and keep the dogs safe.
