Yeah she was a good dancer and singer. She was just like a lot of the girls and needed development. I think most of these girls had never done anything really professional, just stuff in their small towns.
I wasn't actually planning on uploading the rest of the episodes since I've gotten Apple TV and can now stream these for us to watch (which was the whole purpose of me uploading them) from my MacBook without uploading to RUclips. So from this video, its clear that Aundrea's dancing didnt get worse the 2nd season, the choreography just got 10x harder. He should have done on the spot cuts with the vocals too
I'd have to disagree. I think because more girls were cut from this episode/slowly from this routine compared to the second season Made it appear it was the hardest routine but not quite. The 1,2 step is season two routine was the hardest, it was more complex moves in that routine and the infamous handkerchief part really gave the routine the edge. Season two collectively had much better skilled and experienced dancers so not as many girls struggled with the routine or got cut from that dance but nonetheless the 1,2 step is much harder than this routine.

Aileen and Aundrea were my faves! Aileen had so much potential even Diddy said she was one of the people he really looked at, she just got a little comfortable over the 4 months and Diddy didn’t like that! :( but the girl can sing and dance xoxo

Looking at this as an adult and a singer it’s crazy that a “dancer” is defining what it means to be in a singing group…wish we could make chips to move joints like they made software to alter voices…we can’t exist in there lane but they can live on our street rent free…crazy
Again back then you had to have the total package , there was competition in every genre and these girls would’ve been eaten alive . That’s why EVERY girl group focused on vocals and dancing , even after this . Singing just wasn’t enough , you had to be versatile .
Yeah, but you have to remember when this was made and the group they were going for. Destiny's Child, Pussycat Dolls, TLC were all groups who had to be able to sing and dance. It was the mid-riff generation, and this was what was in. Pure vocalists would have a better shot with a solo career a la Whitney/Mariah/Christina route.
Franny really used to dance her ass off I don’t see how she didn’t make it to the next round - it also saddens me how much I noticed Aundrea really lost her passion for entertaining because of Diddy because she was one of the best dancers in this Batch too

Different genre of music and a different time. When Diddy was putting this show together, all of the major successful artists were full out dancers and did intense choreography.

bobby I looking back it’s weird to see how she ended up. Season 1 drea marti and Aubrey were the best dancers. Aundrea and marti were Laurie Anne’s favorite dancers in the season 1 finale. But when diddy started trying to break her in season 2 she lost ALL her confidence dancing wise. It’s sad to see she lost all her passion for music now

Aw thank you so much! :) Through the years I've kept in contact with Marti and Franchesca and I've ran into Patti a couple times at auditions. All the girls from the show were amazing and SO talented (we were all SO young when this show taped and aired) and many are still pursuing there dreams as well :) Thank you for your kind words, wishing you a very happy holiday!

This hands down was the hardest routine in MTB. The choreography was much better this season. Aundrea marti and Aubrey were killing this routine.
