Yes like no one’s going to see representative bodies in dti and tell themselves “let’s go eat thirty donuts every hour 😜” the only thing they’re promoting is inclusivity, also those bodies aren’t even “obese” anyway
Exactly, like I feel like some people should just shut up and not say anything. Cuz like you said, they want this but the moment they (devs) listen, it's now a problem???? Lord can people just make up their minds.
as someone who has 3d modeled before i hope i can clarify a bit more on the thigh gap thing! DTI handles clothes using weight painting, which is basically distributing where the clothes move with the skeleton of the model if the legs were to be touching naturally, it would make the weight painting freak out. its a technical limiation they gotta do the best thing they can with
It's more understandable, i prefer someone who is actually into modeling talking about this rather than directly assuming that what they did was wrong.
yes! as a modeler of games as well, this has always been a problem in bug fixes and reports, and we try to fix it as much as possible. Weight painting is always fragile, and one thing messed up will make the whole model go clunky.
the fact that someone said "these bodies shouldn't be shown to kids! they are unhealthy" not realizing the current female body is unhealthy for many people, as for saying its not plus size, they said they are making more average body types in the future! (im sure enchanteddizzy and kreekcraft said smth about that) and they are also making an actual plus size body as said in 3:25. (ill stop yapping now, but this isnt considered plus size, its more of an average but dti actually fixed the problem to make it more "plus size") EDIT: If you have this body type and your healthy, im *NOT* talking about you, a lot of people develop eating disorders trying to get that body type
That's what I've been saying! Plus dti isn't a game supposed to teach kids about stuff. I grew up seeing plus size people from cartoons and also from real life and not a single time have I thought "Yeah, l wanna look like them, let's eat like 10 grown adults for each meal😜😜"
tbh these bodies aren’t even fat they are just more curvy and realistic (Edit) Im not saying that thin bodies aren’t realistic, but i feel the new bodies just seem more diverse. And im sure there are many people who have bodies like the current ones but as i have the same body type as the new ones i was very excited.
I'm really slender and small and i see so many more mannequins.. clothes, in general just sometimes not go up any more in size and that makes me mad to me personally, now i don't actually play this game but i think it's great they've added something, I don't see that as fat whatsoever though, that's just like average
people who say it's "promoting obesity" clearly don't understand the meaning of the word💀like the new dti body looks like a healthy weight to me honestly
@@S1llyK1ttyMuff1n Exactly. and I'm sorry if this is off topic and that nobody cares but recent diagnosis for me..some people there's more fat around their tummy because of their body's problems, surgeries, just things wrong with the body that others might not experience. Sorry if that's extremely vauge
The reworked plus-sized body type is definitely obese. Unfortunately, there is an obesity epidemic in the USA, so it may seem normal to Americans. Over 70% of Americans are either overweight or obese. Most European or Asian countries don't have this problem.
Also this argument is nonsensical, we live in a world where being fat is the worst thing someone can be - there's no such thing as "promoting" something that people already collectively see as undesirable.
@@weeaboobabywhile I agree with what you’re basically saying as someone plus size, it is unhealthy at a certain point though and its definitely not seen as the worst thing to be if you look at who won model of the year last year, and the rise of plus size models in VSA
people say that it’s obese and it’s bad, but I think it’s honestly fair to me.. people think it’s obese and are saying that it’s promoting obesity to kids that’s honestly making me mad.. I was so mad when people started fat shaming the body, because it is not obese at all.. even though it’s a good thing, it should not be considered plus sized. thank you for trying to make this problem stop.
im honestly disappointed 🙁. it’s my body size too, some people think it’s fat and.. it’s just disrespectful and disgusting to think that fat shaming is cool 😖
It’s not just obesity, being plus size or “larger” than people can be due to physical health problems or just mental health issues as well, I don’t think we need to label a body as very skinny or very fat because all bodies that are healthy should be appreciated. Just like representing races and cultures, it’s important to represent a range of bodies as well
They’re two different groups, I highly doubt anyone who thinks a dress up game having bodies that aren’t slender super-model builds is “promoting obesity to children” would have been asking the devs to add plus sized bodies to the game in the first place
As Kreek said "if you go outside you will see a normal woman that looks like that" which shows that they're barely plus size and that these people shouldn't be fat shaming them
Exactly! But also most models are skinny, and they also can’t make it too big or else it’ll make the clothes look weird. (Unless that’s just about the thigh gap) it’s good that they’re trying to make bigger bodies even if it isn’t actually plus sized.
I’m a skinny, underweight person, and I’m so excited for this. Everyone deserves representation. I’m a guy, so I don’t get all the love and support girls do, but I’m improving. Nobody deserves to feel like how some of us who are struggling are. Love yourself❤ So excited!
Being a girl doesn't mean you get all the love and support automatically either. So I'm not sure why you said it like that. But yeah, keep working on yourself and improving! 👍
@@kristynach.1554 Don’t worry, I know! But guys like me don’t get much love, since body positivity is usually targeted towards a feminine audience. Thank you for the encouragement, though!❤
@@norsski I guess you're right. I would actually say it's targeted to only a small portion of the female audience. I'm not a fan of the body positivity movement myself because it seems to normalize not taking good care of your body and excluding those who do. At least from my experience. Like I was born with a cleft lip and now have a scar there, but I take good care of my body and am a healthy weight, so I'm not welcome there. I wish it would focus on accepting the things we can't change and encourage a healthy lifestyle. If that makes sense. But yeah, I hope you keep getting better! ❤
I don’t like that creators are saying “styling the plus size body” acting as if it’s an accessory instead of a body type styling all body’s is the same because you can use any outfit on any body type it’s not like dti is gonna exclude clothing from different body types
That body looks healthy to me, i was hoping that there would be three body types, skinny, medium, and big, but i dont mean to overwork gigi/who else makes updates etc.
Honestly, your body type doesn't defines your health though. Like someone can be perfectly healthy with this body type and someone else can have any type of binge eating disorder and is unhealthy with this body type. And skinny people can be unhealthy and healthy. Plus mental health matters a lot in overall health too!
So I’ve always been skinny. Ever since I was born. Skinny. People say I should be grateful for having certain features on my body people want but it’s just always felt weird to me that people have over sexualized what I look like. I felt happy when I saw that the dti models looked like me but then I felt bad that people still strive to look like that and that it causes harm to them. I don’t like feeling that I cause harm to people. The new body type is a great way of representation that shouldn’t be a problem. People actually need to calm down and actually realize people are not always skinny or should be skinny.
just because you're skinny doesn't mean you have to feel guilty or responsible for the over sexualizing and idolizing of your body, nor do you need to feel responsible for other people's EDs 🫶 it's the people that idolize your body type that are responsible for the unrealistic standards other people pressure themselves to have. you're feelings of happiness that you feel represented in dti and discomforted by the sexualization of your body are valid ❤
10:06 This was really sad. Family members and people at school commenting on your weigh is not okay. Your family is supposed to make you feel happy and included, and people at school should be kind in general and shouldn’t care about everyone’s size. In fact, I have a bestie that is plus sized, and do I care? No! She is still healthy, still beautiful, and still pookie. I agree that everyone is perfect the way we are
The new body type is the body type i used to have before i was bullied in high school. I had an eating disorder, I had to go to the hospital for several days just because I was starving, I didn't want to eat and everything I ate I vomited. Today, almost 2/3 years after this horror that I suffered, I now have problems gaining more weight, now I feel too skinny. When I see people say that if you have a normal body it is obicidy, it makes me sick to my stomach. I don't care about trolls or anything like that on DTI, what bothers me are people who are fatphobic, pretending that the game promotes obesity just to disguise this ugly side of them. I hope the DEVS, even after the controversies and everything, can bring the best things to the game like they always have and include more and more players. btw, i really liked the video and opnion Punksh
I feel like the definition of plus size has become TOO diverse. Like first you wanna tell me that maybe a little overweight is plus size, but now you tell me 350 pounds is also plus sized? To correct your statement, Being plus sized does not ALWAYS equal to being obese.
@@REHEHEHEHEHEHp being a little overweight is normal. I also kind of agree with some people saying that it's kind of weird how that body type is considered "Plus size" cause that's a normal bodytype. Yeah compared to the one we have it looks plus sized but that's a skinny model so it's minus sized.
My little sisters make fun of each other by calling each other fat and always talk about ‘skinny’ and ‘fat’ people and it makes me so concerned. i always tell them to stop and that there’s no such thing as fat and skinny and that all bodies are different. But they consume alot of toxic content on youtube and stuff and my parents dont care.
What do you mean there is no such thing as fat or skinny? Yes, all bodies are different, but there are words to describe the differences. I'm pretty sure these words are neutral and not meant to be insulting.
I find it completely ridiculous of how people are teenagers and also adults, but still think it’s ok to be fat phobic. It’s idiotic and horrible I dislike how people act this way just because some people still have unrealistic body standards, you guys are grown or young adults and still not thinking right? It’s not great or cute. It’s disrespectful and unacceptable. Am very happy they are adding plus-sized bodies, but it is just stupid of how people are going to be this way and not use their brains. I truly hope people fix their mind sets and think better, it’s 2024..
people have a really skewed perception on what “fat” and “obese” is. I’m tired of telling people that “plus sized” doesn’t always mean fat. it can mean you don’t fit into the original sizes, that reason may not be for fat. some people have big butts, big boobs, big muscles. assuming that everyone who wears plus sized sizes are fat and promoting obesity is insane. As for the new body type, the first idea we were shown was just a girl that had curves and a bigger waist in general. it didn’t look plus sized to me tbh. it felt more midsized, so to say that its fat and promoting obesity is crazy. worth mentioning that being “fat” doesn’t equate to being unhealthy. just the same as being really “skinny” doesn’t equate to being healthy. everyone has different genetics, so our “healthy” will look different to everyone.
As someone whos been skinny shamed my whole life (till now) i want to have the new body in dti without being it called "fat", "plus size" or "unhealthy" since it acc hurts when ppl bodyshame. Even tho ive been bodyshamed for being skinny and know exactly what it feels to be called as the "skinny" i can surely assure that it hurts exactly the way it does to me when im being bodyshamed. It might be diff body types but it hurts the same way . Edit: most ppl will think that nobody gets skinny shamed and even if we do it dosent hurt, but it acc is a very common thing in my country. Being called skinny might look like its a compliment but most of the times it feels horrible..i hope ppl dont hate over me being skinny shamed thinking its a compliment.
I’d like to mention how people think being fat is the only type of unhealthy body type, as an underweight person it is so incredibly disgusting when people think “fat=unhealthy” and “skinny/underweight=pretty and healthy” and the fact that plus size people aren’t even necessarily unhealthy makes it so much worse
@@LUSH74h frfr and I saw a vid abt this whole fatshaming and skinny shaming, ppl were litt saying that skinny shaming dosent hurt and that it's a compliment and it means pretty, like it's not "pretty". In my honest opinion im really happy there's inclusivity, however the body doesn't look PLUS sized, its just a normal healthy body weight. its still good they're adding it tho. I'd love to see more different body types in the future, love ur vids btw!!
I hate when people immediately jump to obesity when someone isn’t in the shape of a runway model. I think the body looks great. You should be worried about your health and not just focused on the size and shape of your body because that can get really unhealthy.
People were complaining about the current body types, and now that they got new ones, they think it’s promoting obesity. Like what do u want, for the body to be made out of thin air and for the clothes to be floating??? It’s just so annoying
I legit saw someone say “cAn’T wAiT tO uSe ThIs FoR cAsE0h HEHEHAHA” why does everything plus-sized have to be Case0h, it’s not even a funny joke! It’s just a way to fat shame in a “meme” way so no one gets mad at you… this is the same way I feel about people making fun of the pink dress on man because “mEn BeInG fEnImEnE iS fUnNy HAHA!” Like shut up its not- (sorry if this comment is worded weirdly I didn’t know how to explain my thoughts properly)
Why would you joke about that everybody knows him is a nice guy but he doesn't always have to be about he's so fat he's so fat and he only he got his own code he shouldn't play just so impressed but he did
Fat shaming in itself is bad, but I’m pretty sure caseoh himself actually said that he finds the fat jokes funny so it does make it a little better. Even then, fat shaming is bad and no matter who it is you shouldn’t fat shame people
@@Leenomacino Yes I am aware! Though, I still feel like making everything plus sized related case0h is kind of… I don’t know insensitive? 0:193:30 now this is just insane, a dev literally said its not possible because of development reasons 😭😭 this is what he said “OH thigh gap, I wanted to say that we cant do it less cuz of clothes weight paint. Weight paint - thing that helps clothes to be rigged with the body.”
LITERALLY LIKE WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID NOWADAYS?! THEY GOTTA GET THEIR LOGIC BACK OR ELSE I’M GONNA EXPLODE AND THIS IS IN LIKE EVERY F&CKING FANDOM!!!
I can’t fathom how people think it’s “promoting obesity”or “normalising” it. Nowhere, is DTI explicitly saying that if you’re obese you’re healthy. It’s like when DTI has skinny models nobody saying it’s promoting ED culture and being underweight and how it can sometimes be unhealthy. But, apparently when they make bigger bodies, it’s promoting obesity. All people want is representation, that’s it when we feel more excepted and represented then we can reach our health goals. which doesn’t mean looking a certain way or fitting an ideal it means feeling the healthiest and happiest you’ve felt ever.
The left toe one? Is it that user? Bc if so, it caught me off guard too 😂 I was taking the video seriously bc it is a serious video, but then paused and laughed at the name because it’s funny and I paused so I could hear the full vid and not accidentally be laughing when something extremely serious is said or someone’s hurtful comment is quoted😅 (edit bc I misread timestamp)
just disgusting, why do people fat shame so much? as well as skinny shaming, just as disgusting and just sad. as my mom said, “if you make a bad comment about someone, and they cant change anything about that in five seconds, you shouldnt make a comment about it.”
I get called anorexic alot so this is kinda cool to see a game finally making 'plus size' bodies since I've never thought about how others who are that body type not being able to portray themselves in game. But they could make it look a bit less 'regular'.
Hey thats my comment!! Glad my worries about the body type was heard since heard. I have always been intrigued about ED’s and the causes of them. I have been surrounded by people whom have/had them, and I know the mindset people go through to develop one. It’s little things that can become larger problems over time, and Im HOPING they label the body as: “Fluffy” or something like that. I’m personally have been skinny all my life and HATE it with a passion, and literally the new body type is my goal for my body! I grew up with so much people around me that would be considered by that label ‘Plus-sized’ but they all looked so beautiful to me. Especially my Mom, and was thinspoed to be self conscious about herself. It was a bit heartbreaking to see it. I just don’t want a child, let alone anyone who has the regular body type to go through what the women in my family had to go through. I’m just hoping dti can help normalize more body types, then just: ‘be skinny, skinny good, fat bad’ in the community.
the thigh gap cant be closed due to how the models walk (generally) and it breaking the game, especially with certain poses (iirc from the tweet) (just the functionality basically) (yes this was edited idk why i put models on here twice)
I think people are being rude, the original bodys are disney themed not realistic human bodys, like"promoting obesity" having a normal body isn't fat, also who said being fat means your ugly and obese? Just my opinion
If the creators aren't from the US, I'd understand why they'd think this is plus sized, bur instead of calling these bodies plus sized, we could just call them by their body type. Like pear shaped, etc.
As an plus size person tbh I don't understand the toxicity n fatphobia or shaming i don't understand like none force somone to use the body types it's not a crime or stuff but I've seen a lot of comments like "it's a fashion game not a place for fat people"
8:16 I saw my comment on there, just wanted to say I didn’t mean any harm when I made that joke about Caseoh. It was dumb, and just based off of a running joke on his channel. I’m not fatphobic, I am actually overweight myself, and honestly I shouldn’t have made the joke anyway. I didn’t mean to offend anyone, I’m actually really impressed with these new bodies and I have been pushing for the devs to add plus sized bodies for months. If I made anyone feel insecure or hurt in any way I deeply apologize, that was not my intention.
It’s good that you apologized! I personally don’t mind the caseoh jokes just because caseoh himself said he doesn’t mind them and actually finds them funny. But if it’s about any one else, then that’s bad
I don’t like the skinny one for like themes like “me irl” or “me in 50 years” and like that bc I eat too much and I want like my body type.I hope they add that
I’ve been playing dti for a while now, and I’ve made a suggestion for the more inclusive body types as well as others mostly because I struggle with body image issues myself and I have my whole life. I can’t change, I’ve tried, it’s in my genes. My dad used to bodyshame me a lot when I was a bit younger and I’ve never been able to feel confident. There’s barely any representation and it makes me feel almost isolated in a way, I’m trying to learn to love myself but it just gets so hard. My younger sister is skinnier than me and she eats a ton more than I do, it’s just so unfair. I’m hoping I’ll still get voted for in dti even if I use a different body, and I hope younger girls will learn to love themselves and get the representation and respect they deserve.
as a teen that is built like the prototype of the plus size body stop it hurts a little bit that people hate anyone that isn't 100 or lower can I get bullied on The daily because I'm not thin
I got teased for being skinny even though I'm at a healthy weight for my height and age. Some people will never be happy about how you look even though it's not their business. As long as you're in the healthy weight range, it should be fine.

@@bella_14gurl yeah but that had nothing to do with the comment, your acting like her comment was about how thicker people go through more body shaming than others, which she never said or wanted to say. It just comes off as ignorant.
See I personally think that they should make an option to have either a skinner, average or plus size body, and have lots of variations. To call that body "plus size" is outrageous. That body type fits me, I didnt really think I was plus size before, but now I'm second guessing.
i collect dolls and this is a problem there. they just like, make wider dolls and say plus sized. this feels like a body thats kind of chubby with a wide build
As a 16 y/o who grew up on the internet and is chubby, seeing both of these versions of the body type made me so happy. I’ve been playing dress up games since they were mainly flash games and it’s always been really thin people. Don’t get me wrong, skinny people 100% should get rep too, however I never saw anyone who looked like me growing up. Seeing a dress up game finally have even an average body type made me close to tears when I first saw it. as I’m someone who has dealt with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia who also had severe childhood trauma this game has been so healing for my inner child and I can’t wait to see where it goes. The inclusivity that they actually seem to be striving for is so comforting and I’ve been getting so emotional over this silly little dress up gam. The devs have no idea how much they’ve inspired me and honestly helped change my mindset about myself and my own body.❤
I love how comments from people are "Those are not plus-sized bodies." and comments from other people are "Ew imagine normalizing obesity?" It's so interesting. The beauty standard of being unhealthily thin is so normalized that people see a normal body and think it's "gross."
@@kristynach.1554 I never said being thin is unhealthy. I said that the beauty standard of being unhealthily thin is way too normalized. there's a difference.
@@paimon2206 I don't agree that being unhealthily thin is too normalized. Only 3% of Americans are underweight, whereas over 40% are obese, and over 30% are overweight. Being overweight is so normalized in America, that they think the 27% of people with a healthy weight are too thin. And it's slowly getting to Europe where I'm from too. The current model in the game looks to be at a healthy weight, and not unhealthily thin.
The model isn’t even ‘obese’ like do you see any fat in that model? If anything they look toned, and they just have bigger hips which is great for representation because this body type is common and isn’t ‘promoting obesity’
Wow! I didn't think my comment would be in the video 😭 * Long ramble incoming! * But, anyways, I am very excited for the new body types, and I'm glad they improved the model. But in all honesty, if they wanted to be even more inclusive (Not saying they aren't inclusive, just saying that they can always be MORE inclusive!!), they could add both body types. And I agree that, just because SOME people are gonna use it for trolling, or vote unfairly because someone is using the larger body type, that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist! It is 100% better to be inclusive than to not be inclusive! It is DISGUSTING how many people were fatshaming and just generally being fatphobic on both your community post, and Umoyae's post(s) on Twitter/X. And the person that said "glamorizing obesity and unhealthy life choices in 2024 is ofc so important" is wrong. Both literally wrong, as in, it's NOT important because it's NOT happening, and also morally wrong, as in it's not a good thing to say. Some people have problems controlling how much they eat, which can lead them to gain weight. And that's perfectly fine! And weight isn't always from eating. Some people are just born with more body fat/mass than others. And that's also perfectly fine! Everyone is human, everyone has feelings, and everyone deserves to be treated well. People should'nt be judged just because of their appearance. I am so glad that the DTI team is listening to their community, and we all should be thankfull for that, as we are very lucky to have a team that listens to us and takes our feedback into consideration. And thank you to anyone who was bored enough to read my rambling, lol. I might add on to this comment in the future if I think of something I forgot/want to add.
8:43 i’ma be completely honest. it is not ok for y’all to be fat, shaming a body Full on quitting a game just for adding one item is dramatic. just don’t use the body if you don’t like it? and there’s no reason to share your opinion if it’s something bad or fat shaming. And if y’all are disgusted with the body being slightly bigger then The original at this point just shame the slim body we have in dti already. This is not okay
Tbh I think that when the new body type gets added people are gonna start saying “if you don’t use the plus-sized body you’re fat-phobic😡😡” I didn’t even think any fat shaming💀
The updated model that you showed in the video is almost my exact body type, and people who called that disgusting and or obese are the same kinda people and the same reasons why I used to starve myself. I stopped eating, and became so much more unhealthy than I currently am. People’s words can and do effect people like they effected me and it hurts to see people continue to say such harmful things. I still haven’t properly recovered from that point in time, and I hate the fact that these people could cause others to go through what I did. If your happy and healthy than that’s all that matters. Your all amazing the way you are, don’t change for anyone! I’m happy DTI is adding new body types and I can’t wait to use them
12:01 I hate the haters, like im 4”9’(shortness is in my genes my mom is 5”3’) and like- 80 pounds soaking wet, and I WISH I was more chubby, but even eating almost as much as my stepdad(who is a 6”4’ oil rig manager in his 30s) I am still tiny and skinny, like when I wear a 2 piece swimsuit or take a shower or change clothes and raise my arms in the air, I can see some of my ribcage and I wish I could get bigger(not in height, I’m fine with being short, but in weight, I hate being as skinny as I am)
I feel you. I am underweight and I wish I was a bit more chubby. Ppl were skinny shaming me, and it hurts like fat shaming. Just want you to remember that you are beautiful just the way you are :D
This is my opinion, i feel a little offended when they say that the “plus size” is a normal human body, bc im skinny and they are kind of saying my body is not normal and that doesn’t mean i have never been body shamed bc I’m skinny, I’ve also been body shamed… people just need to normalize every sizes, its not a big thing.
I can explain why it can't be closed to the point it's touching *If you use blender bone rigging, you would know the weight painting the rig is hard if it's touching, you'll need to manually fix it (It can take long depending on the triangles) (Ik it's Roblox but the weightpaint is the same as that)
This isn’t promoting obesity.. If anything it’s promoting muscle because do you see how much more muscle the plus size body’s have then the little ones.
As a person who is slim and has a plus sized family yall shouldn’t bully just because it’s plus sized and also shaming people is disrespectful pls respect others how YOU want to be treated
I am happy about the new body types. I saw the first versions and was like “My sister looks like that!” And I got excited but then I read the comments and dress just…full dread. The world truly doesn’t want people to feel represented. I think the inclusion is good ❤ I would probably always use the mid size body since I don’t think I am that cozy but it is the closest to my own ❤
The only bad thing about the 2nd body type is, like in themes (me rn, what I look like) and themes like that would make people feel uncomfortable to be who they actually are.
The model is just chubby, not “plus-size.” It literally looks like my body just a little more cubby and pear-shaped (I have an hourglass body), and I’m the average weight for my age and height. Since the DTI models are tall and would probably be people who are 18/19 or in their 20s or 30s, that just makes it less “plus-size.” There’s like just more stomach and thigh fat and a bit bigger model, not anything like “plus-size”
Im so excited for this to be added, I just wish they didn’t call it plus-sized. I have the body type of the current DTI characters, and it’s actually caused me so many medical problems due to the fact it’s underweight.. still, I’m very happy that they’re trying.
I think most people who say that are Americans and have a distorted view of what an average body looks like. Only 27% of Americans have a healthy weight.
How is it plus size? It literally has a thigh gap, the calves are skinny/normal, the stomach is almost perfectly flat and slim, the arms aren’t even that chubby too sooo you must get your eyes checked and on the run Maybe get yourself a doctor too because your anorexia is getting worse 😂
As someone who is currently 30 pounds UNDERWEIGHT, I can say that all body types should be in game. People have different body types and that’s okay. I am trying to say that it is okay what your body type is and that is okay to accept it, but I am not saying you shouldn’t work towards a more healthy weight. I currently I am the road to gain 30 pounds and I accept that, yet I am not saying that I accept it and that I refuse to change myself.I am saying that we can have acceptance, if it is backed by improvement.
I was just making fan art and I was abt to reference your lips for the drawing (bc I suck at digital art lol) then I saw this and I’m EARLYYYY FOR ONCEEEEEE
I have been body shame when i was youger so seeing this mean there are some people like this and my bff is really skinny after 4 years she kill her seft because of the bullying she hated her body so much seeing this made me sad
I am not plus size or skinny, i am medium, so i will use both skinny and plus size body. Now, if you are a plus size and you're planning to use the plus size body, go ahead, don't let a stupid person ruin your mood because of their fat phobia. It's none of your business if someone doesn't like your body, so just let them yap. About the trolls, just report them and continue with your life lol. Note: For those who say that they are trying to normalize obesity, just a reminder that there are some bodies that are healthy and they are plus size, so just close your mouth kindly.
Instead of multiple body types, what if they made a body slider like the sims? That seems more intuitive to me, instead of having people complain about inclusivity regarding the size, just make a body slider and leave it at that. No "plus size" or "regular," just label a "body slider." Edit: why not both? the slider and instead of scrapping what models they have now, make presets too? I don't know, I'm just thinking of a solution to get past the whole naming things "plus size" argument.
2:03 I do like that they’re putting these bodies in the game but this is not normal size. They are acting like it’s a normal size, it’s not and that bothers me. I agree that it is not plus size but it is not average either, it is big.
Honestly, my biggest worry is people will vote ppl down for having the regular bodytype. Imo, idc about bodytypes. Its not your looks that make you beautiful, its whats inside. Not trying to be fatphobic, but just no. There are kids playing, and being told THAT is plus size, is wrong. Its honestly more rare to be the og body type, then being the coming soon one.
Why do I feel like people hate skinny people ( I am a skinny person). I know lots of "plus size" people but I feel like anytime I say I am skinny people hate me :(. (sorry if I seem rude)
HOLD UP ✋🏻 people have been asking the dti devs “please make more bodies for diversity!” “Making more body types are awesome!” Now they are all hating.. like be fr rn.
Tbh i think its cool for " health " and " sports " related themes, as it can show a plus sized person trying to improve their health and show that not all plus sized people are fat acceptance. And plus sized people working out for fun and health! Showing that results of working out won’t come out after 1 second of working out. And for more original stuff and to show that everyone doesn’t have the same body and we are all beautiful in our own way!❤
I’m someone who is plus size and it’s sad to see people getting offended of a simple body that has nothing to do with them. Just because ppl can be bigger or a lot bigger than the “Norms” doesn’t mean they are unhealthy or promoting obesity. DTI wants to be a safe space and want inclusivity so plus size IS a part of it. Its stupid seeing petty ppl making fun of a body type that will forever be a thing no matter what, we shouldn’t be normalizing body shamming and flat out just calling any body type “Disgusting” just because they’re body doesn’t look like everyone else’s
I'm literally getting offended in the comments, they are saying usa is an obese country and there is slim and chubby and overweight people too like stop please😢😢😢😢😢
The thing that doesn't make sense 1. People wanted Plus Body Size but now they're saying "Promoting Obesity" Like bro? Ur asked for it 2. First Gigi is Fatphobia (Her drama if you heard her) she is also racist, and disgusting. People were mad at Gigi and hate how Gigi is being Fatphobia and now they're following the same thing
I think different players have different opinions. It doesn't have to be the same group of people every time. So a portion of players kept asking for plus-size bodies, and now another portion of players is complaining abut it. I hope it makes sense.
I hate body shaming. I'm a very skinny person and trust me body shaming is still a big part of my life. In school I'm called things like "chopstick legs" (idk 💀) "skeleton," and 'stick figure" and a lot of other horrible things. I'm also always called "flat" by a girl in my gym class. I guess what I'm trying to say is people will ALWAYS find a way to body shame you no matter your weight (even though your weight doesn't matter you're because ur perfect
So I’m chubby and honestly I’ve faced so much fat shaming from my peers and my family, I think this addition of this body is really sweet and I feel seen. Honestly it really hurts to see people being so rude about this, I honestly hate when I get fat shamed, I’m not even that big and people still call me fat and compare me to someone morbidly obese. It really just hurts to see that people are being so mean
I just feel like they really didn’t need to make plus size body’s some of the new updates coming out and stuff have made me grown away from DTI idk if anyone else feels this way but I wanna share my opinion
Regarding all of this happening I know it’s wrong to body shame and your own family doing it? 10:18 crazy.. show me bodies for being slightly bigger than the (standards) is just offensive. if your opinion is not comforting or helping with the situation you should not comment about it feeling that someone being bigger then others is okay but sharing your opinion out loud is not necessary.
Punkshroom, you are amazing and one of my favorite youtubers now, you just gained a new subscriber! You are very open and kind to this community and explain very well. Thank you for making Dti videos!
Personally I hope they don’t get rid or replace the original bcuz that’s my body type and I hope they don’t get rid of it cuz it helps me to validate myself :(
All I’m going to say is that I will never be using the plus size model (except for the first one since it’s cute asf) and I think atleast others can agree with me. People always make such a big deal about bodies, like why should you give a shit anyway? Just play the damn game
This is my opinion as someone who is skinny. I love that DTI is adding other body types because 1 people feel included 2 it cab enhance outfits 3 I love the body and different varieties
I know this may sound stupid, but as a plus size person playing DTI, I was worried about my own looks since I didn't look as skinny as the models in-game, but now that they're adding plus size models, I'll FOR SURE use them frequently!! ^^
The bodies are beautiful even if they are “inaccurate” or “not plus sized” the company is listening and trying to be inclusive and even though it could be better we need to be patient

Yes like no one’s going to see representative bodies in dti and tell themselves “let’s go eat thirty donuts every hour 😜” the only thing they’re promoting is inclusivity, also those bodies aren’t even “obese” anyway

@@BlackWomen_GamerSupport2471 real bruh :/
as someone who has 3d modeled before i hope i can clarify a bit more on the thigh gap thing!
DTI handles clothes using weight painting, which is basically distributing where the clothes move with the skeleton of the model
if the legs were to be touching naturally, it would make the weight painting freak out. its a technical limiation they gotta do the best thing they can with
Thank you so much! ♥️
It's more understandable, i prefer someone who is actually into modeling talking about this rather than directly assuming that what they did was wrong.
utah teapot 😛😛
yes! as a modeler of games as well, this has always been a problem in bug fixes and reports, and we try to fix it as much as possible. Weight painting is always fragile, and one thing messed up will make the whole model go clunky.
Dti said that the gap in the thighs are there on purpose because it’s easier for them to model the clothes on them or something
the fact that someone said "these bodies shouldn't be shown to kids! they are unhealthy" not realizing the current female body is unhealthy for many people, as for saying its not plus size, they said they are making more average body types in the future! (im sure enchanteddizzy and kreekcraft said smth about that) and they are also making an actual plus size body as said in 3:25. (ill stop yapping now, but this isnt considered plus size, its more of an average but dti actually fixed the problem to make it more "plus size")
EDIT: If you have this body type and your healthy, im *NOT* talking about you, a lot of people develop eating disorders trying to get that body type
Fr
That's what I've been saying! Plus dti isn't a game supposed to teach kids about stuff. I grew up seeing plus size people from cartoons and also from real life and not a single time have I thought "Yeah, l wanna look like them, let's eat like 10 grown adults for each meal😜😜"

True but I'm still happy they are adding them
They are fat
Exactly i prefer a curvy body to a flat one, i think it adds more to the character and is a bit more realistic.

Fr and how is it promoting obesity like kreekcraft said why are kids gonna try being obese because there favorite game?
And they said that literally wanted

@@S1llyK1ttyMuff1n Exactly. and I'm sorry if this is off topic and that nobody cares but recent diagnosis for me..some people there's more fat around their tummy because of their body's problems, surgeries, just things wrong with the body that others might not experience. Sorry if that's extremely vauge
The reworked plus-sized body type is definitely obese. Unfortunately, there is an obesity epidemic in the USA, so it may seem normal to Americans. Over 70% of Americans are either overweight or obese. Most European or Asian countries don't have this problem.
"DTI is promoting obesity" Fat people who are deemed as "unhealthy" deserve to be represented and treated with dignity too.
*the audience snaps 🫰 🫰🫰” I feel the same
Also this argument is nonsensical, we live in a world where being fat is the worst thing someone can be - there's no such thing as "promoting" something that people already collectively see as undesirable.
@@weeaboobabywhile I agree with what you’re basically saying as someone plus size, it is unhealthy at a certain point though and its definitely not seen as the worst thing to be if you look at who won model of the year last year, and the rise of plus size models in VSA

@weeaboobaby yeah the mere existence of someone who isn't skinny has nothing to do with promoting obesity

im honestly disappointed 🙁. it’s my body size too, some people think it’s fat and.. it’s just disrespectful and disgusting to think that fat shaming is cool 😖
people saying its obese are wild, like…tell me you have no idea what youre saying without telling me.
It’s not just obesity, being plus size or “larger” than people can be due to physical health problems or just mental health issues as well, I don’t think we need to label a body as very skinny or very fat because all bodies that are healthy should be appreciated. Just like representing races and cultures, it’s important to represent a range of bodies as well
"I want plus size" "Oh nvm, Y'all promoting obesity." Bruh you are contradicting yourself.
It depends on where you're from. In many places, this body type is above average in terms of weight.

People actually need to calm down and actually realize people are not always skinny or should be skinny.
the exact thing I was gonna comment

just because you're skinny doesn't mean you have to feel guilty or responsible for the over sexualizing and idolizing of your body, nor do you need to feel responsible for other people's EDs 🫶 it's the people that idolize your body type that are responsible for the unrealistic standards other people pressure themselves to have. you're feelings of happiness that you feel represented in dti and discomforted by the sexualization of your body are valid ❤

Being plus sized does NOT equal to being obese.

People are just making up excuses to be fat phobic
people have a really skewed perception on what “fat” and “obese” is.
Yeah it is chubby though. Learn the body types
fat people do have health issues. The fat encompasses the heart if you keep up bad habits

And? And skinny people go trew that, body shaming in total is bad
@@bella_14gurl They were literally just explaining their personal experience with no hate behind it. You're not wrong but you seriously misread the whole comment, stfu and learn to be respectful before you comment on a sensitive topic. ❤
@@flamboyantfever no i feel bad for them and i said that body shaming is bad in total. Overweight people aren't the only ones who go trew body shaming that is what i said. I just said that not only chubby people go trew body shaming and that it's bad in total.
Omg that’s true. Dolls just get wider but there’s no tummy😭
Fr
Hmm and with you it seems like the opposite problem. Being thin is not unhealthy unless it's extreme. The current body type is normal and healthy.
Wow! I didn't think my comment would be in the video 😭
* Long ramble incoming! *
But, anyways, I am very excited for the new body types, and I'm glad they improved the model.
8:28 this genuinely offended me the most,my irl name is Fatima and the fact that this loser of a person said this is unbelievable.
The bodies aren’t even that fat why are people acting like they added nicacado avocado in the game or something lol
They are chubby. Not normal
I can explain why it can't be closed to the point it's touching
*If you use blender bone rigging, you would know the weight painting the rig is hard if it's touching, you'll need to manually fix it (It can take long depending on the triangles)
(Ik it's Roblox but the weightpaint is the same as that)
Also Roblox has a limit on how many faces, triangles, model groups, etc. you can import or even export
A super low one, too
This isn’t promoting obesity.. If anything it’s promoting muscle because do you see how much more muscle the plus size body’s have then the little ones.
I'm so excited for the new body update, as someone whos not considered "skinny" I know this will be a body type I often will use in dti
The new bodies absolutely are not average size. They are 100% plus size and idk how people disagree with that.
I think most people who say that are Americans and have a distorted view of what an average body looks like. Only 27% of Americans have a healthy weight.
@@kristynach.1554Shut up its literally normal
How is it plus size? It literally has a thigh gap, the calves are skinny/normal, the stomach is almost perfectly flat and slim, the arms aren’t even that chubby too sooo you must get your eyes checked and on the run Maybe get yourself a doctor too because your anorexia is getting worse 😂
Just because it has a bigger butt and a bit curvier Waist its considered plus size? Maybe search ”plus size woman” and see what comes up 😂
@@LadyGagasLittleMonster Just because it's normal doesn't mean it's healthy.
Omg periodddd I can’t wait to see it 🥰
tbh I HOPE you do good and queen you will!😲
The worst thing is if they used the average size on the skinny bottom the skinny top and the gloves and the socks and make it the skin tone colour
I have been body shame when i was youger so seeing this mean there are some people like this and my bff is really skinny after 4 years she kill her seft because of the bullying she hated her body so much seeing this made me sad
i sorry for u loss of we love u about fribossfifi his like is sad
I am not plus size or skinny, i am medium, so i will use both skinny and plus size body. Now, if you are a plus size and you're planning to use the plus size body, go ahead, don't let a stupid person ruin your mood because of their fat phobia. It's none of your business if someone doesn't like your body, so just let them yap. About the trolls, just report them and continue with your life lol.
Note: For those who say that they are trying to normalize obesity, just a reminder that there are some bodies that are healthy and they are plus size, so just close your mouth kindly.
my mom body shames me everyday saying I'm a fat frick and need to lose weight so yeah i think shes fat phobic
Just stay positive, and block out any negativity from your mother!
EVERY ONE SHOULD LOVE EACH OTHER FOR WHO THEY ARE AND WE SHOULD NEVER JUDGE PEOPLE FOR HOW THEY LOOK YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT 🥰😍😍🤩💄💋💅
Instead of multiple body types, what if they made a body slider like the sims? That seems more intuitive to me, instead of having people complain about inclusivity regarding the size, just make a body slider and leave it at that. No "plus size" or "regular," just label a "body slider."
Edit: why not both? the slider and instead of scrapping what models they have now, make presets too?
Tysm soooo much I am normally insecure of my weight and u gave me sooo much more confidence 😊
Tyyyyy 11:07 i needed it❤
HOLD UP ✋🏻 people have been asking the dti devs “please make more bodies for diversity!” “Making more body types are awesome!” Now they are all hating.. like be fr rn.
The thing that doesn't make sense
1. People wanted Plus Body Size but now they're saying "Promoting Obesity" Like bro? Ur asked for it
"add more body types!! the current one is so anorexic!" "stop promoting obesity!! you're showing obesity to kids!!"
literally what do you want??
Regarding all of this happening I know it’s wrong to body shame and your own family doing it? 10:18 crazy.. show me bodies for being slightly bigger than the (standards) is just offensive. if your opinion is not comforting or helping with the situation you should not comment about it feeling that someone being bigger then others is okay but sharing your opinion out loud is not necessary.
Sometimes, even if you eat healthy or work out your still going to be not the size people expect you to be

showing a plus size person doesnt encourage people to gain weight. its literally just representing a natural human body wth
The bodies are beautiful even if they are “inaccurate” or “not plus sized” the company is listening and trying to be inclusive and even though it could be better we need to be patient
