God bless you Hannah on this 2nd journey. i had 3. operations for slipped disks and continued dancing. Now I'm 76 and still teaching ballet. You'll soon be dancing again 'cos we're all waiting for you !!!!!!!
Hannah, I am so proud of you!!
Your positive attitude, in spite of very natural apprehension of the future, is truly wonderful to behold. You have reviewed what happened before, during and after your previous surgery, thought about it, and decided to make changes that will make things easier this time.
Please give yourself credit for doing this! It takes courage to voluntarily dive deeply into memories of our most difficult times.
You and your mum are adorable!
Your surgery must have already happened by the time you posted this video 😱 so hopefully things went very well! It's normal to feel nauseated after surgery. I think part of it comes from the anesthesia and some is from overexertion. Surgery is literally trauma to your body - and also you haven't been sleeping well, and you weren't able to eat or drink for hours beforehand so you're hungry and dehydrated too.
The Christmas market looks so lovely! Keep that peace and joy close to your heart as it will help comfort you during moments of low mood.
I love the zip-up leotard you were wearing! There is a cute video about ballet class fashions recently from the channel "ballet reign"!
Wishing you a very speedy recovery! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this vlog! 🙏💖🧸💐🌟
All the best with your surgery, I hope. you will recover very fast. Thank you for your beautiful videos.🥰
Thank you! So glad you enjoy them 😅
😱 Wishing you a long and happy career ahead of you when this surgery is done Hannah! 🩰✨
You’ve got this Hannah because Gods got you ❤🙏
God bless you dear Hannah ❤ take a very well deserved rest for a while! ❤
😱 lots of well wishes for a speedy recovery.
You are Loved and Healed !!!!
Amen!
Praying for a successful surgery and smooth recovery❤
This has really helped me calm down a bit for my surgery which is on Wednesday!! Can’t wait to be back to dance fully without pain too ❤️
Best of luck for your surgery! A step closer to dancing without pain 😅😅
Watching your videos always inspires me sooo much! Thank you ❤❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching! 😅
It's so important to listen to your body and your needs. Last year I sprained my ankle and just pushed through I started limping alot and putting stress on the opposite knee compensating for the ankle.
Now Im struggling with chronic knee pain and wearing a brace after dancing a musical on it a few months ago. Now I'm impatiently waiting to get back to dance and full scale acting classes.
Remember to take care and best of luck with everything. You are such an amazing person ❤
Hope you have a swift recovery 😱
😱 Good luck for surgery! By the time I write this comment it already happened so I hope everything went all right! I really enjoy your videos, they give me courage to push through since I have a current ankle injury as well 🥴 Take care! Hugs!!!
I had eye surgery last Christmas and wow yea, surgery is never fun and the process of healing takes awhile. But the most important thing is your health! It took me out of an activity I loved but gave me a renewed sense of joy and accomplishment in that activity when I got back into it!
Wishing you the best!
Prayers for a fast recovery!❤️🩹
😱 Good luck Hannah and speedy recovery.
Love the Christmas vibes in this video! Thank you!!!
Sending the best wishes and prayers to you Hannah, on your recovery ❤ I know you will come back even stronger
All the best to you but I'm sure all will be well. God Bless!
Thank you!
All the best for the surgery and a good and quick recovery 😱
I wish you all the best and a fast recovery❣️🏵️❣️
You bring such a positive message to dancers! Best wishes for a successful surgery and recovery… ( I get nauseous after surgery as well and I have been told it’s a side effect of anesthesia…now I know to tell the anesthesiologist and they give me anti nausea meds)
I'm proud of you Hannah. I've had surgery before too lost all my flexibility. Because it took me a month to recover. And when I resumed I still felt pain but I got through it and I know you can too.❤❤❤❤❤
Good luck on surgery day. God will be with you through the process.
😱 wishing you the best and hopes for a quick recovery❗️🙏
😱 You’ve got this. Being proactive with a known problem is much better than waiting until you are in so much pain and make it worse. Best wishes on a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
😱 from following you on IG, yay! You did it!! I know surgery is always a risk and that adds to the fear especially for someone like yourself. But I’m glad you did it because you have made the best decision you could with the information you had. You are such a beautiful dancer and to dance in significant pain isn’t the same!!! Praying for continued recovery that leads to even more joy in dancing and performing for your fellow dancers, the audience and God the King of Kings xo
😱 Sending love on your way Hannah and I wish you a speedy recovery
You will face this challenge head on and will come out stronger that before. ❤Much love and prayers to you for a fully and Speed recovery. 😊
I feel your nerves. I am having surgery on December 4th and will be out of ballet until Jan 7th. Fingers crossed our surgeries go easy!
Best of luck for your surgery! Won’t be long till we are back doing what we love! 😅
You look so much like your mom! You guys are a stunning and sweet team ❤️ Good luck. Hopw everything went well.
Will pray that ur surgery goes or went well!❤❤❤😊
heal well Hannah
😱
Good luck with your surgery!
😱🎉Keeping my fingers crossed. ❤ I am sure you will recover soon.😍
i have an os trigonum and it made me reconsider doing ballet as a career and i went to college instead (go ucla bruins!) but i love living vicariously through working dancers!
Hi,
I watches til the end, but i can never find the emoji's. I've had 3 foot surgeries. Good luck and speedy recovery!
😱 all the best! 🧡
I'm seeing my surgeon on Tuesday morning prior to my operation date being set. Hopefully, soon ❤
😱 Get well soon, Hannah!
may your ankle be well soon! 😱
Good luck with the surgery Hannah. Without it, your dancing will be hindered. 💃 I doubt I'll see you perform at Nutcracker for that.
😱 how long after the surgery will you take to get back into class? speedy recovery from the Lord most high!
Thinking of you sweetie xx
❤please take some rest ❤be lazy
Thank you! Have been pretty expert at laziness the last few days 😅
I found I had a Stieda process (similar to os trigonum but not a separate bit of bone) when I first went en pointe at the age of 49. My surgeon rather snidely pointed out that *most* dancers figure this out in their late teens or early 20s. So rude! The results of the surgery were really surprising. I instantly had a full range of motion (with zero strength through that ROM). I am still building strength, as it has been decades of restriction, but I can at least get over the blessed platform of my pointe shoes now.
I know this is probably not at the forefront of your mind as you go through the recovery process, but could you talk a little about the logistics of the surgery and subsequent time off?
Does work pay for the surgery/do you still get paid during the time off? Are you covered by insurance through work?
Good luck 🥰
😱 your jammies are lovely!
😱
I guess this emoji was appropriate for how you were feeling before you had this surgery. I guess how you're explaining this is that you're doing proactive surgery on your right ankle, while it was reactive on the left, getting it out before it gets really bad. It'd be like a baseball pitcher getting Tommy John surgery (ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction) before the UCL gets torn. (I know you probably don't know what I'm talking about, because I'm talking sports, and an American sport at that, and you're a dancer.)
Go girl😊
Prayers. 😱
Now … it is done…
Where is Regan going?
😱 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
😱🥰
God Bless. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌈🌈🌈🌈

😱🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just came back from visiting my parents in Brasil 🇧🇷 and I thought of you because of I was born in the literal neighborhood where açaí bowls were invented way back when and they cost 💲 between $1-3 dollars so some are less than a quid!😮 I also got to see my mum and dad and we stretched, worked out and did everything together. My mum’s only sister, my aunt, went to Heaven when I was already gone and that’s been hard on us all… not her - she’s with the Lord waiting for us. I’m praying for you and your surgery.❤️🩹➡️❤️ 11:08
