It would be interesting to take those synthetic data sets and the test them with a simulated car with both cameras and LIDAR vs a simulated car with just cameras to get a feel for how much the KIDAR adds to safety and ride comfort and such.
Why self-driveing car systems dont use echolocation? Lidars and computer vision is not complete combination to recreate vertical and underground scene or threats - like something falling from building or earthquakes
