Still here after all these year, this music is not like an old friend, this music make me feel i am back home after a long Journey. I will never forget the first songs I had discovered from them : Melancholia, and Scarborough fair... almost 10 years now
As a youngster, I used to attend lots of burials. I can still recall the sound of the church bells tolling farther and farther away as the deceased were lifted from their homes in a black horse-drawn carriage and taken down the 'Street of Heroes' towards the cemetery. The sound of the wheels of the carriage rolling on the paved road along with the church bells, the chants of the priests and the trail of Wailers following their beloved in utter agony still haunt me after all these years. After the coffin was lowered into the grave and the priest gave them their last rites, it was always remarkable to count how many shovels of earth would it take for widowed women or daughters to jump in the grave(most of whom didn't make it past two) and the sight of men trying their best to suppress their emotions in order to be strong for the greater good of the family(most of whom failed miserably). Many years have passed since I've left my old village. After my mind was tainted by the sinister forces that have rewoven society it was your "Angels Are Weeping" that resonated within me with the importance of faith and fate. That beautiful song which reminded me that nihilism, hedonism and disguised malevolence will only serve to undo all that our forefathers have given their lives in hope of achieving. And now you've taken an otherwise sad folk song and have turned it into what can closely resemble a dirge. This brings back my old view on the importance of life, love, friendship, and family by recalling on one of the eeriest nightmares that haunted my mind. Bells faintly tolling from the far away church, the sound of approaching carriage wheels, the chants, the wailing... all stuck in my head as I'm standing on my knees, chained to the earth in front of the same old cemetery. The sun slowly making its way downwards casting faint rays my way. The sunset. Although so many people consider it to be romantic, it has haunted me all of my life causing me to drown in euphory and depression. The long shadows of the gravestones slowly creep my way, knowing me...calling me... Whenever I try to cast my vision away it's forcefully returned to the scenery. All I can do is carry my burden and wait for the night. The same mistress who's eternal beauty is enveloping me into her star draped hair and caressing my soul. I'm 19. Why are your songs making me question my life before it has even fully begun?
I got into Nox Arcana about 5 or 6 years ago and the atmosphere of the music helps me relax so much. Turn off all the lights, turn on my black light, start playing their albums, close my eyes and let my imagination wander. Some of their tracks are also superb D&D atmosphere music :)

Yesterday holds memories in time
Remember me to the one who lives there
She once was a true love of mine
Tell her to think back upon younger days
Yesterday holds memories in time
And seek yonder crossroads where we parted ways
Then she'll be a true love of mine
Tell her to follow the path to the shire
Yesterday holds memories in time
For there she'll find her heart's true desire
Then she'll be a true love of mine
Tell her to come to the old willow tree
Yesterday holds memories in time
Where spirits of lost love yet whisper to thee
Thou art still a true love of mine
Tell her to gather three lilies of white
Yesterday holds memories in time
To place at my headstone, beneath the moon's light
Then she'll be a true love of mine
Forever she'll be the one true love of mine

When I am out in the woods up north doing my spells, this is the playlist I use. I love the music, thank you for all these. Blessed Be!! 🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓

Gosto muito dessa versão Nox Arcana, mais a original também é maravilhosa.
sehr schöne Version, die mich an meine große Liebe, M., erinnert...
Still here after all these year, this music is not like an old friend, this music make me feel i am back home after a long Journey. I will never forget the first songs I had discovered from them : Melancholia, and Scarborough fair... almost 10 years now
Dear lord, this is the most beautiful song I heard in years. The hairs on my arms are standing up
Beyond the lamentations of time and space, just beautiful.
This is the best rendition of the song Ive heard
Leaves' Eyes also has a beautiful rendition of this song on their 2009 album _Njord_ 💙
Love from Indonesia.... 👌💙
WOW!
🎶🙏🎶
Weird
This writing style reminds me of a young H.P.Lovecraft...
I could make do with a cat and implementing the good old "it was so horrible, words couldn't even describe it" in some of my works XD
I love the lyrics in this version.
This version is quite good. A timeless magical song.
By far most beautiful version I ever heard of scarborough fair.
We have been here among you for 100,000 years
Arthure loved this song... Still miss him.. beyond the moon and back...
Maravillosa versión. PURA MAGIA
I got into Nox Arcana about 5 or 6 years ago and the atmosphere of the music helps me relax so much. Turn off all the lights, turn on my black light, start playing their albums, close my eyes and let my imagination wander. Some of their tracks are also superb D&D atmosphere music :)
This song doesn't deserve 500 thousand views.. it deserves 500 million.

It's easy to imagine a traveling musician playing this in a castle's great hall, with the king on his throne and knights and nobles scattered about the room
I heard this yesterday, just had this old classic again. 🕊
Legendary Song
Cultura selta. Hermosa canción.
To die with love unrealized means the soul cannot rest, this song provides the spell that can break the spiritual torment. Tis to be conducted by the female in question, very easy to do.
Real emotion of magical HMMS and sounds of appropriate instrumentals ,its a heaven in sound
I always knew this was a sad song about heartbreak and loss. I never knew how sad!
