Mustang may pass off as a jerk to his friends and Edward but he's also seeing so much death and destruction and he is soldier through and through and doing his part to protect and serve that's the mark of a true soldier.
I hate watching people react to this scene only because they forget the genuine philosopher stones are perfect material and can't be destroyed by normal means. Means gun shots, smashing with a hammer, throwing it from a cliff, none will destroy it. Has to use up all the souls within it to destroy the stone

Alphonse is a friend of Hawkeyes and she cares about her friends she's protected the brothers a number of times and since Alphonse is made of steel he acted like a shield to protect her.
Lust great mistake was the generic villain mistake, not kill inmediatly the Hero, only left him half dead, Of course the Hero Will recovery with a miracle and go back to fight
@@andr6163 Geez calm down friend. Dubs are made for a reason, you do you, but don't dictate others choices. Besides FMAB's english dub is objectively good, really outstanding acting, fitting voices and good mouth and audio synchronization, so idk where your arguments relay.

ヒューズが投げナイフで一回死なせた分が無かったらこの大佐でも相討ちに持ち込まれてた、ヒューズがいてこそのマスタングの勝利、ってのが何より熱い決着。
その熱い勝因を作中では敗者のラスト以外は知らないのがまた最高。
