A member of staff of my local housing association told me the following " there is a big shortage of social housing in the city"
No surprises there but what followed sickened me to the core when she said "people in the hotels are top of the housing list."
Utterly, utterly disgusting to see illegal migrants being given homes before our own people.

But i work in temp jobs where Ukrainian people even travel back for holiday apparently? I cant afford a day out and not been abroad in 20 plus years, many other nationalities rub it in your face constantly while youre working alongside them how theyre only here to work, get as much as possible then either when their kids have finished education, and theyve got as many resources as possible will head back, also making it hard for British people to get jobs even temo ones, i could go on and on....

Have you ever considered the fact it might be you? Maybe the people you are watching are better with managing their money and have a lot more hussle/drive so have side hussles or work mutiple jobs. In Ukraine, there is no safety net, so you dont work. You dont eat. Now you take someone with that work ethic and give them the same opportunitys in a better country there obviously going to do better than the local population. The education system in the UK is subpar when it comes to educating its population on how to manage their finances or how to properly invest their money.

@@BigGee-i7qsounds to me like you're trying to lay the blame on the shoulders of the victims of a corrupted political system.

I've met British who have never been in an hotel in their lives.
Let alone full board, access to NHS, free passes for this, that and the other.
And then there's legal aid - ah yes, that's the big one, right up Starmer's alley - wait till you hear the scandal about Southport - you've heard nothing yet.!!!!!!!!

Southport i would rather wait for the truth to come out if it ever does, but wouldn't be surprised if there are British citizens who have never been in a hotel

They're not hotels they were but now they're holding centres, I'm pretty sure you've met people who have used the NHS.
Don't hint at stuff come out with it, we all know what happened at Southport so stop trying to make political capital out of it.

Rules and regulations that apply to us, dont apply to them. I live in supported accomodation with 40 flats, where the minimum age is 55 years old. This past week a foreign muslim male and female arrived who are both clearly in their 40's. There is a guest room with 2 single beds and walk in shower. This is for residents relatives who might live some distance away. These are staying in the guest room and have made themselves right at home. They sit at the top of the staircase by the lift where there is a small table and 2 chairs. The man wears the muslim dress, the woman usually haves her bare feet on the table. They are constantly on phones, talking very loudly in some foreign language and stare at anyone coming up the stairs or getting out of the lift. Nobody thought they spoke english because they haven't spoke to anyone. Last night a neighbour was getting out of the lift, she uses a wheeled mobility walking frame with a seat. The man walked over and was very interested in the walking aid and wanted to know where he can get one for free because his wifes leg was sore. The wife walks perfectly normal, why does she need a walking aid? I imagine they have heared about PIP.
