- The USA promotional CD of the Du hast single included the English version, labeled as "International Version".
It would later get included as bonus tracks on several foreign editions of the Sehnsucht albums.

Whoever was responsible at the label for the idea of Rammstein singing in English, well... at least it didn't translate the entire album and force that to be the North American release.
They might've planned to, though, since the booklet had English translations in the same vein as this and Engel English Version (i.e. not so much a literal translation but rather intended to be sung the same way in English as in German) for all songs. Wonder if recordings of English versions of the other nine songs might exist somewhere.

What about du hast "bizarre festival 1997 version"? I mean studio version...
I swore that I'd never listen to the english version of Du Hast in my life but morbidity won me over... I wish I had never made that decision LMAOOO Till's voice sounds without power, it feels empty and monotonous, not enjoyable at all.

As I german I actually prefer this over the original version. Yes, the original had a beautiful play on words which gets entirely lost on this one but the German version is so boring. This is a breath of fresh air which actually made me enjoy the song again.
