Yup, this is my set. Easily. I'm 100% sure that R8 is inspired by the R8 that won the 24h of Nürburgring last year, at least livery wise. The HW one however does not match it's aero as the one that won is An EVO 2 model. Fun fact, Spark offers a 1/43 version of said race winning car. Cheap(er) for said scale as well! However, the sad news is that the R8 won't be replaced come the end of it's homoligation cycle as Audi is ending involvement in customer racing programs that they build the R8 for to focus on their F1 program. The star for me however is the Capri. I have a big weakness for group 5 cars and the ford is no exception! German team Zakspeed is most famous for working with Ford during the Gr. 5 days. They also build a mustang for, i think, IMSA. That being said, i REALLY want that Capri as there's barely any 1/43 versions that i can find for sale. Group 5 is what we call a silhouette racecar. It means there's about no mechanical resemblence to the regular production car. It just "looks" (even this is not the case) like it's based of a Road car. To my knowledge, i don't think there were any AWD cars build for these regulations. Hot Wheels has more GR.5 cars, like the Stratos and the silhouette skyline!
I enjoy this set, not sure about my favorite yet, but i know what the least one I like is. I'll wait until I do the unboxing video so I can see them in my hands!
