- In this Premiere Pro tutorial video we are teaching you how to make a floating text that often used by many vloggers in their intro, to show a title with their travel destination or what the video is about. We show you the best method I found to do this in Premiere Pro CC , which does need to a some manual motion tracking, but its quite easy and fast to do and also I also show how to do a slide in text effect for it, just to make it even more interest to reveal the text.

this effect usually needs after effects , u are the only one showed it in premiere wow nice!

@@rsm307studios Put the text and shape UNDER the corner pin, not over.
TIP : To find rectangle tool click and hold the pen tool or ellipse tool, then you will see rectangle tool :)

So I placed the Text & Shape below Corner Pin and It Worked! Thanks to Dee Dee who left this golden hint that I pass to everyone who is having issues. Using on May 2020 the latest version of Premiere.

i have premiere pro and for that i use after effect but you know what my friend for some videos i use power director and the tracking it's included Inside unlike premiere pro and this good software cost me 59 euros

followed step by step perfectly. Text doesnt conform to the box or back to the corner pins. the text just sits in space over the whole clip.

The text and shape need to be UNDER the Corner Pin. Total opposite of what he says in the video.

my corner pin's not working. the shape's not moving
I had the same issue at first, it's solved now. You probably have to try to move the corner pin to the top instead of bottom. i think different version of premiere pro has different settings. My sequence from top to bottom is Corner pin , Text then Shape.

Referring to 5:00, I Don't Know about others but placing Corner Pin at the bottom i.e., below Text didn't work for me. My text wasn't staying put.

How'd your magical graphic thing appear there to grab?
Anyone help me out? New to Premiere so bare with me, but this is a little confusing to me. I searched up corner pin in the effects controls, dragged it onto my graphic that we created with the rectangle tool, but the 4 blue corners are not showing up when I click on the corner pin on my effects controls? Anyone know whats going on, would appreciate any help.

hi....been trying this out ...I can create the moving rectangle but I cant seem to put the text in it to move with it....does that make sense? I have watched the video about 8 times and not sure where I am going wrong.
Instead of clicking and dragging a textbox, just click once
try putting corner pin on top and the shape and text below

I have Premiere Pro CC 2015 and don't have a rectangle tool in toolbar. Can't find help anywhere, what to do?
I have a doubt on 1:39, if the "Shape" Layer is above on "Corner Pin" effect, you can't use the blue cross symbol to seize down the red colour part! and when 0:45, there is a jump shoot, if you put the corner pint, the "corner pin" should be on top of your "Shape' Layer
effects effect layers above in premiere effects control not same as timeline and photoshop layers.

what about 3D text with element 3D?
If it is possible it will be more realistic.
Element 3d is not a premiere pro plug in. Plus I rather teach things without using 3rd party plug ins as often those are troublesome with sharing files.

Yes, but need to work around using old legacy title. but similar methods shows in this video.

what does bezier and other time interpolation choices mean ?
You might not see this 3 years later, but adding a bezier and the other options can either make it smoother as it moves somewhere, or just a sudden movement. Idk if I explained it well, but it basically just makes it move smoother.
