Live in the region of the recent tornados. Learned the value of communications.
We let our daughter spend the night with family. It was extremely hard not to go get her a town over. However to do so could put us in danger of being caught in the storm.
Having my cell phone charged at all times payed off was able to coordinate with her grandfather on location of storm and determined letting her stay put would be safer. Had i left when i wanted to , i would have ran into one of the storms as it passed between our two towns.
Stressful night. But keeping communications up gives you access to information that helps you make life saving decisions. The following day we had no power and by then phones were going dead. We purchased solar battery packs and are looking into radios next.
Have multiple redundancies for your coms. Faraday cages to protect them etc.

First I wanna say that Im not a democrat, i am a republican. Don't follow blindly what and Trump says on completly everything. You know why USA is financing this war pretty hard, because people who are actaully high ranking, people who know whats going on know that if we get out of Ukrainian bussiness yes we will postpone maybe a little bit of what everybody is afraid of the ww3, but only a little bit, and if we give up countries like Ukraine or even NATO members like the baltics we just give them the upper hand even more than we have already given them (by not immidiatly taking care of Putin's regime when they started the invasion of Ukriane in 2022). They have had time to tie up closely with China, Iran and other Bricks countries and we have only highered the chance of us losing. The thing you are saying will just give them futher advantages, getting deeper into NATO territory, improving their economy and getting their Warheads even closer to USA in the Atlantic direction.

Yeah, I have a bit of that "challenge accepted" mentality as well when receiving negative comments. It makes me laugh since people who don't know me have zero clue the things I've had happen in my life. This is why I like to warn people about them having far more innocence to them then they realize. My hope is to point out things and provide feedback on things I do know. Hopefully to help someone avoid something negative.
Since I know you read the comments and you've seen plenty of mine, I want to explain something. I feel it's important to understand why I make some of the comments about dreams and so forth. I have a lot of examples but there is one that has bothered me for years. I had two friends in Australia. I kept seeing this car accident about a year before it happened. I warned the one but not the other. The other one was in the accident that took his life. He was only 24. That happened in 2010. So, I feel like I have to say something and do not care if people think I'm crazy or whatever.
You are not alone. Others have this gift as well. It is more common than you think. Don’t worry about being crazy, actually, every one is.

I hear you on the premonitions. Every major event in my life I knew about beforehand! Like, first time I ever got behind the wheel of a car, I got the message: you will have a car crash; it's not your fault; you have a passenger unrelated and even though the car gets totaled, you both walk away. Twelve years later, it FINALLY happened and all those details were correct - I was SO relieved to have that out of my head! But that's just one example.

Ironically, the Canadian Military will be holding an exercise over the next few days in Ontario-Huron, Bruce and Grey counties. They will be spread out and going to households, knocking on doors, practicing an emergency situation. Residents are told to expect to see them and they may knock on their door.

Beans, rice, legumes, powdered milk, whey protein, sugar, salt, pepper, multi vitamins vacuumed sealed for extra protections.
You also have to have the energy to cook dry beans for several hours, and fresh water. I have 600+ lbs of beans, but freeze dried food has its place. Soak beans 24 hrs to reduce cook time, but it takes alot of energy.
