The music in these stages are phenomenal. Especially the casino level and the last level. Some of the best video game soundtracks to this day came from these old school games.
Can't believe it, my favorite speedrunner just did this! I played a few weeks ago and the nostalgia man... I wasn't able to advance at 9:15...and I just saw that you throw boxes to them but not in their mouth! lol Very nice indeed!
This was a great game but man it pissed me off a lot. I like seeing you play it though as it is 3rd person revenge against a game that made me rage a lot when i was a kid. lol!
the ladybugs still creep me out in H. i remember that I asked my dad why they would animate them that way. his response was that the people that made it hate me. My dad is awesome! great run!
Wow Arcus, you made fat cat look like a chump and beat the game in 11 minutes. I used to beat this game as a kid but it would take me at least a half an hour or more.
I used to ask my uncle how he beat games like this so effortlessly after a week of playing them, and he said something that only makes sense now... "Hold right." I thought he was being a smart ass, and in a way he was, but there's so much truth in that statement that I wonder if he was speedrunning them.
I never had this game as a kid, but I have one of those $15 400 games in 1 Chinese handheld game thingies that has it on there, I never really got into it though. Maybe if I had played it as a kid I would play it for the nostalgia factor. If I get bored with the really great games on there maybe I'll swing back around to this one : )
Have done a speedrun of machrider, tiger heli, star soldier, aso, gyrus? Those are the games i've never get to finish the game they're just that damn hard!
The only way I see someone truly beating this guy at and NES Game in an impressive matter is by using the lower glove. Even then I would not be surprised if just some how this guy knows how to play with the power glove.
I don't know this game at all, but it seems like there was some potential for damage boosting, especially at those axes, if you could find some health drops in the boxes. Are those random or set locations?
Arcus is in Arizona time zone, and streams from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Arizona time from Monday through Friday, with a break for lunch (from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Arizona time). Unless he's sick or something, he's like clockwork, treats his real job LIKE it's a real job! Very dependable, a genuinely nice guy, very viewer-friendly, and with a friendly community too. Hope you can catch him next week!
I'd have subbed already but was denied by Twitch's UI. There is no self-explanatory "Subscribe"-button when I go to Arcus' channel. Nor any other channel for that matter...
@@IgnatzKolisch Im guessing he streams on the twitch link on his page. He has become my favorite runner over the past 6-7 months. Seems like a really good dude. Thanks!
This game is one of my happiest childhood memories. I still play this game and watch chip and dale on D+.
Got to love watching this guy smash games I thought were hard like nothing. Brings me back to my youth, thanks for the runs.
this game brings so many good memories, amazing game
I couldve sworn this game was on sega lmao! So long ago...
I don't know either, but I can't remember if I played this game on the NES or not. I'm guessing no, but I did watch the cartoon as a kid.
I watch these specifically for the hum/singing of the songs......
I came for the hat, stayed for the humming
This unlocked quite a few memories, I literally forgotten all about this game. Emulator time.
The music in these stages are phenomenal. Especially the casino level and the last level. Some of the best video game soundtracks to this day came from these old school games.
Especially games like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, both of them Arcus has ran
I love the music on stage B. Nostalgia overload. This was a really good game. Graphics, controls, music, difficulty, it was damn near perfect.
This guy beats games in minutes that I couldn't beat in weeks or months. Great job.
what?
en 2 heures j'ai revécu des dizaines d'heures de jeux dans mon enfance, merci
Can't believe it, my favorite speedrunner just did this!

Very nice indeed!
One of the few NES games with good two-player.
Always loved that music on the last stage, i really like mario world 2s underground music too
This was a great game but man it pissed me off a lot. I like seeing you play it though as it is 3rd person revenge against a game that made me rage a lot when i was a kid. lol!
Underrated NES game
At least I beat this one. Seeing these guys speed run Blaster Master and Ninja Gaiden or Battle Toads, man those were brutal.
the ladybugs still creep me out in H. i remember that I asked my dad why they would animate them that way. his response was that the people that made it hate me. My dad is awesome! great run!
11:02 through the tunnel was a tough for for me as a kid. Gratifying that Arcus thinks the same.
GG Arcus 👍 this one tormented me quite a bit as a young kid. Never could quite beat it. I'd get a little further, get super excited and lose my cool.
And now a speedrun of a game I actually beat as a kid. Good game.
Wow Arcus, you made fat cat look like a chump and beat the game in 11 minutes.
I used to beat this game as a kid but it would take me at least a half an hour or more.
Omg I almost forgot about this, awesome selection!!!
I haven't even thought about Rescue Rangers in 25 years and the moment I heard the music on the title screen, my brain started singing the lyrics.
I hear "Chip N Dale" and I automatically think of Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze....
Sounds like Arcus had a little cold here. Also, he looks just like chip here 🤭
early 90s! great memories!
I had no idea that rhinos were tiny in the Rescue Rangers universe.
Sorry I missed it live arcus, awesome run!
This game is so amazing!
Yeah! I'm still playing it on Android version.
Use to love this game as a kid!
I'm from Brazil and watching you!

Since when do cowboys play video games? They're supposed to bring in the herd at sundown.
He's in "quarantine" - 😎

These videos of Arcus on your channel always start with him failing and then immediately resetting the game.
You managed to turn Chip into a Ninja!
The Stage 8 music is top tier
number one fav game for nes along with super Mario and tmnt
The last cat boss ashes his cigar on you as his only attack haha!
my childhood right here
You're the best, man. Lotta games
Have done a speedrun of machrider, tiger heli, star soldier, aso, gyrus? Those are the games i've never get to finish the game they're just that damn hard!
I never knew about this game, looks fun
I loved this game too!
Eres un Crak, me gusta como pasas fases con esa facilidad
Good music in this game
Would love to see Bionic Commando

I’m almost positive this was the first game I ever beat.
Great job. You're a total pro.
You’re hilarious!
Rescue rangers 2 maybe? Nice speedrun as always
I couldn't even get to the third stage in this as a kid lol
I love this game!! nice run!!
The only way I see someone truly beating this guy at and NES Game in an impressive matter is by using the lower glove. Even then I would not be surprised if just some how this guy knows how to play with the power glove.
I'm not a furry but Gadget was one hot lil mouse..
😱11 minutes?!? This took me weeks to beat as a 7 year old....:/
And....clonk!

Oh hell yea
Reminds me of Megaman
Made by the same company Capcom.
Woot!
Is that the space ship from futurama??
This is one solid game, but it is easy. I got it done in about 18 minutes and wasn't speedrunning and played through every stage as well.
CALLING SHENANIGANS!???????
some times your in time with the music then your not
This was one my favorites from the nes
