  • See how BBR carries out an eye pressure test. Ocular hypertension means the pressure in your eyes is higher than normal. Left untreated, high eye pressure can cause glaucoma and permanent vision loss in some individuals so regular testing is advised.

Enrique Jaramillo Sorry that I'm not Laura, but I believe I can answer your first question as to what she is doing. I believe that she is testing the gentleman to find out if there's a possibility of him developing an eye condition and /or disease known as glaucoma, which can lead to possible blindness if left untreated. This particular eye disease can be controlled, though never cured, with certain medications.

It doesn’t hurt at all but I’m so sensitive with my eyes, I don’t even like eye drops so it took about 10 minutes for me to do this because I kept jumping back 😪😪😪

YassHammy just a little suggestion for the drops if you ask sometimes they will just put it in your tear duct while your eyes are closed so when you open they fall right in! My friend is really freaked out by drops so they do that for her and she says it’s much easier 😊

Honestly the drops were the worst part. I hate anything going near or inside my eyes so I was kinda jumpy at first but after a minute I got used to it and I ended up just spacing out and forgetting there was something touching my eye. It really wasn’t painful it just seems kind of scary

Why do our bodies create too much intraocular fluid? why does the trabecualar mesh get blocked? why why why, we all want to know why, but nobody has the answers.
If you ask your doctor, he or she will say they don't know. Can this be happening? No body know why?

For instance, in acute eye inflammation, white blood cells and tissue debris can block these trabecular spaces and cause an acute increase in intraocular pressure

Today alternative tonometry methods available which enable to measure IOP via upper eyelid without need for the drops as it does not touch the cornea. Also, transpalpebral scleral tonometry isn't influenced by corneal biometrics and doesn't need to be adjusted for CCT or other corneal irregularities. Hope it helps!

It’s never that quick for me and my eyelids always catch that annoying ass thing. They check me for glaucoma every year and I hate it with a passion

Will the eye drops make me not see clearly? Need to know if I can drive home by myself during my eye test. Thank you.

Castlerock your vision might be blurry for a few hours. It's not recommended that you drive back home after the eye test. Good luck.

When I got it done, my vision was kind of the same but my Eyes kind of stung and were tearing. When my eyes were dilated which was a different set of drops, my eyes were extremely sensitive to the sun, because my iris was enlarged. It kind of gave me a headache

Why was the illumination coaxial to viewing system during the procedure ? An approximate 60 degree angle would ensure maximum illumation of the GAT tip and thus make the mires most visible.

foxlove258 xoxo Nope, not at all. They put these yellow numbing drops in your eyes so you don’t feel anything. It makes your eyes water but it’s okay. They shine this blue light into your eyes that make you want to blink, but you can’t. It’s really not that bad. Don’t worry about it :)
