Galeazzo words cannot express the shear joy and amazement I get from your precise interpretation of the Greatest Artist to Ever live on the planet! Every time you present us with another song,it's like Christmas morning for a little child! I have never seen or heard ANYONE play and describe The Beatles Music the way you have! GRAZIE!
I've always been very obsessive trying to play exactly like the Beatles records, you are doing an incredible job, you sound remarkably alike, and explain and teach other than perfect. I think you have the ability to think and play just like John Paul George and Ringo did. With 10 people inhabiting this planet just like you the world would be perfect. You are the best!
Sounds spot on to me! Its a shame you go through it so quickly, I struggle to keep up and see exactly what chords you play. Still very grateful though. A big thank you from England :)
I am a 50 year beatle fan and YOU ARE THE BEST I HAVE HEARD singing or playing guitar. I am amazed how you give me chills listening to every song . Please keep up the FAB work you do.
I play it completely different, but LOVE what you do here. Love it how you show that they were blending major and minor chords throughout this album - Rubber Soul. I'm going to revoice some of my playing on this.
I am so grateful that you have these videos. I cannot sing but I love watching your singing videos, but I crave for accurate guitar and Piano tutorials. There are so many lessons on youtube but most if not all of them seem to be wrong
Galeazzo, sos uno de los mejores didactas de música. Soy músico y aprecio la claridad con que enseñas a quienes no saben música. Gracias y te felicito.
I've been playing guitar for 12 years and that was the best guitar version of the beatles that i have heard of ! I'm def gonna take note and follow step by step on this.
The Beatles were pure genius ... you are a wonderful and delightful talent. Thanks for your excellent video interpretations of their legacy. You must be a true fan of them.
Thanks a lot, I really apreciate this. I could not get the right way to play this song anywhere, until I saw your video. It's very kind from you to share this knowledge. Thanks a lot again!
Great Job ... I studied guitar for years ... but, never learned this song. I thought, maybe there's someone on youtube who's got it down ... and here it is. I checked out a few others ... but, this guy not only plays it right; he teaches it slowly and carefully. Thank you
It is a shame you are teaching those of us who are likely too poor for a flesh-and-blood teacher, but I hope the appreciation of the masses provides some sort of sustenance, if not the physical sort. Thank you for helping me with this song, great instructions.
Please setup a Patreon and devote yourself full time to these kinds of videos! I for one would happily pay for all each of the valuable content you provide on the Beatles.
I've only just seen this video. The second chord Paul plays in the verse is an F7#9. This is straight from the horses mouth. Paul McCartney describes in his book "Many Years From Now" what George and he called the Gretty chord. The same chord is used in Till There Was You. The two chords you play actually make up this chord. You just play an ordinary F7 but fret the 4th fret of the 1st and second string. I love your videos and have learnt a great deal from your harmonies. Thanks
Thanks for posting...Your video was very helpful...I've been trying to figure it out for a long time, and in less than 8 minutes you video was the answer to all my questions. Amazing. Very good tutorial. I will surely check your other videos.
Mr Fruda I love all your videos they helped me learn songs like michelle and Norwegian wood much faster and more skillfully I am just giving a recommendation there isn't a good video for the songs and I love her ...and i am the walrus ....
So awesome! Thanks for sharing! One thing: The 3 chords that go up when paul sings "go to-ge-ther well" is actually a Bdim7 (same chord that appears 2 chords later, (C-->Bdim7-->C) that moves up by 3 half steps each time it goes up. Just for clarification (source: "Songwriting Secrets of the Beatles" by Dominic Pedler)
Esta es la canción preferida de mi papa y me ha pedido que me la aprenda. Gracias por esta lección pues ya la puedo tocar - y cantar - muy bien... El feliz! Grazie!!
Great Tutorial! Thanks! Great chords, Love to see the actual "as used by the Beatles" finger positions! Keep up the good work, I will definitely check out your other posts.
A better, "FOOLPROOF" solution is this: Cut a PLASTIC credit card (from one of the many OFFERS you get in the post) into a 2 1/2" X 1/2" strip. Before placing the Capo on the neck, slip the strip UNDER the strings, then place the Capo on, (anywhere you want) behind the chosen fret. The .022-.024 thickness of the plastic strip will prevent the ever irritating condition of the strings going # on you. It IS a bit more work, but as I said, it's "FOOLPROOF"! Enjoy!
Just saw your video and have to say your awesome man. You made it easier for to play it XD I tried it without a capo and it was VERY difficult Haha thanks again.
This is brilliant, It would be a little easier if you named the chords giving the overall chordsstructure, but it can be found other places on the net. You are amazingly good at this. Rock on my talented Friend
I agree totally! LOL I do play it with my pinky fingering both the b3 on the 1st string and the b7 on the 2nd, however, as those are the melody notes being sung. So, leaving your middle finger out (ie the barre finger holds the minor 3rd on the 3rd string), will "cure" that. Even if Sir Paul plays that clunky chord...…. LOL Remember a #9 = a minor 3rd (b3rd).
when you say they play the major chord and minor chord at the same time, another way to look at that is to say that they are playing a dominant seventh chord with a #9 (Sharp nine). so, for example, using C, The C major chord is spelled C E G, put a flat seven on it and it will be spelled C E G Bb. The C minor triad is spelled C Eb G. We can easily see the half-step dissonant tension you pointed out as being E vs. Eb, with the C and the G belonging to both chords. Here's where it gets a little tricky; a C7#9 chord is spelled C E G Bb D#, or 1 3 5 b7 #9. in the key of C, D is Re, the 2nd note of the scale. to make a note sharp, we must raise it by a half step. So the D becomes D#. here is the answer to the riddle; the Eb and the D# are the same pitch, named enharmonically.
I'm afraid that using the Bb in contrast with CGEA in the key of D on the third note creates a major chord clash with the 1234 Eb B7 that harmonically is half step sharp with the spelled E vs GDOPQRST 123 beoynd the Riddle..
Thank so much. Is really useful. I beg you for a video with the hole lesson played, to see how it sounds the hole thing together. If you do something like that, please mail me. Greetings from Chile.
Oh my God! I cannot believe it! That's awesome!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! I love The Beatles and all the songs!!! I'm trying to play this one... this video makes me so happy... Thanks for your video, your channel, your time and of course I'm a new subscriber of your channel!! :)
You can google 'Michelle' guitar tabs. But w/ the capo, for example, when he frets a 'C' it's really the F chord. When he frets the 'G' it's a C. Sometimes when I play, I don't use a capo but I'll play the 1st chord (F chord) of the lyric 'Michelle...' instead of a 'C' capo I play like a 2nd position F chord (around the 5+ fret) and my fingers act as the capo.
Very very good tutorial ! Im so pleased i happen to find this site of yours. Thanks. Id like to have ALL of your Guitar Tutorials please. How can i get ALL of your work please ?? Please respond to me . Again, youre a superb Teacher . Dave.
Hi Galeazzo congratulations. I was watching your videos and only later I realized you are the great Luthier. You are so you are so multifacted! Manufacturing guitars, amplifiers, guitar player, singer..what else?? However thansk for this lesson. i don't know how you can hear such details in the Beatles records. However the chord you explained major/minor is like a Bb9+, what do you think play 6/6 5/8 4/6 3/7 2/9 1/9 (where first number is the string, second the fret) ? regards

The second chord in the verse is F#7#9 (shape) but I think an F minor sounds better.

Bueno......and Euro Champions ....ITALIA......I came here because I saw Paul play the diminished run of chords on McCartney 3,2,1 😍😍😎😁😁😁😁
