The fact that these stages focus more on playability than just looking good is really nice and welcome. For example instead of making pillars that would block everything in the Mother Brain stage, they are in the background, which still makes it feel like the original location without making the gameplay worse. It's not exact recreations (for the most part), but instead bits and pieces of the source material that were put in a way that makes the stage actually fun to play on. Personal favs: (just in the order of the video) Firelink Shrine: A simple layout, but it looks like it can be good with 8 players. VS. Death: It takes the exact same layout as the source material, but it already was playable. It has a unique "reversed Battlefield" platfrom layout that's really nice. Waterfall (Undertale): This waterfall effect is soooo good. And the platforms are faithful and playable at the same time. City Escape: Good background and use of the gravity function with the truck. Whomp's Fortress: Again, faithful layout and this twhomp too. Dodongo's Cavern: Good balance between a "simple" stage with nice platform layouts and the Dodongo skull. Clanker's Cavern: Good use of the foreground and background to simulate the water while still having a lower blastzone. Rogueport: There's an underground. Yes that's it. I like it. Death Egg Zone: It's just a simple layout but YES the Death Egg Robot isn't in the middle blocking everything! Celeste Mountain: It's really simple (it could be competitive!), and good background work. Spelunky Mines: I like it. Jolly Roger Bay: The box. THE BOX. Winters: Again, really good background. Easily playable too. King Knight's Keep: Like VS. Death, it has a nice "reversed Battlefield" platfrom layout. Nice color choice too. All Rivals of Aether stages, specifically Air Armada, mostly because of the clouds. Studiopolis: Amazing background work. Looks easy to play on too.

Go to online, shared content, then enter the ID of the level(s) you want to play. Keep in mind you have to have a subscription to Switch Online to do it though.
I have nothing against those stages (unless it's Ultra Instinct Shaggy in which case we have MAJOR problems) but yeah it is nice to see stages with actual effort.

Hey, I downloaded & upvoted a ton of these levels and played with my friend, and we both gotta say, these are by far some of the most solid levels in custom creator around! The levels themselves are super playable and well shaped, and these designs are just fantastic! You have an incredible eye for the tiniest of details while keeping how the level plays so simple and interesting! Thanks for putting so much work into all of these designs! These really made our night here together playing!!
You are such a busy creative person! I love how you used appropriate matchups for each level; Gordon Freeman vs a robot in the Half-Life lab was a particular highlight for me.
This...this is truly what stage builder was meant for. Shame others are just too...immature to try creating a stage with this quality. But honestly, I really love how you made the illusion of the airship was moving through the air by making the clouds rotate in one direction! Do you take suggestions? I mean only one of the stages from Splatoon made it into Smash and imagine if a stage from A Hat in Time was recreated in Smash with this level of quality. (Also here's a tip for anyone who really likes working with the grid, you can try creating structures and objects on a bigger scale and shrink them down. As long as it isn't very detailed, it shouldn't become a corrupted mess.)
if its not been fixed that, items keep the same amount of complexity in regards to the meter when there size is changed meaning that what your suggesting wastes space and conversely making everything in small scale then sizing it up allows for more to be placed on the stage then normally

All these stages are amazing! I love all the little details that you put into each stage, like the director's chair in Studiopolis Zone and the rollercoaster in Pinna Park. It makes them look nealy official, it's amazing! I'd love to see you make a stage based on the King's Arena from Castle Crashers, as well as a few stages from Pac-Man World 2. I myself don't even own a Switch, but I'm working on saving up for one currently.
This is not only a well made video that highlighted overlooked levels, but it's one packed with references of it's own. Representing Jeff in the Winters stage as Joker (glasses wearing gun users) was genius. A+ work
These are just jaw droppingly amazing. To think such talent came from just a single dedicated player, too! You're awesome. Since you're looking for suggestions, these are a few I'd like to see if you can make them: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - perhaps maybe the room where Ike and the Black Knight face off, with of course Vs. The Black Knight playing as music Metroid Prime - Magmoor Caverns, with the elevators and lava and your knack for making pretty but functional stages this could be amazing. Paper Mario TTYD: Your Rogueport stage is AMAZING, and I think another cool idea could be the Glitzpit. Either the arena or more hopefully the outside area of Glitzville would be incredible Smash Bros - Target Practice. I've seen a few but many are unplayable or uninspired. I'd like to see your take on this. Donkey Kong 64 - I'd like to see an Angry Aztec inspired stage, maybe around the giant totem, or in front of the temple with the five Kong doors, whatever you choose Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Temple of Time, centered around the Pedestal of Time, or Kokiri Forest, in front of Link's house, with the ladder leading up to a platform to fight on, and there would be cliffs on the sides of the screens.

These are absolutely fantastic. Really great themeing, a lot of attention to detail, little Easter Eggs to make the stage feel in theme, and you balance having the occasional gimmick with really solid stage design. Hey, these stages are all actually really sick! I love that you categorize everything by potential legality, helps to show just how casual of competitive these can be. I was just downloading them when I found that the Portal Chamber has ledges on the sides of the cube. Although I otherwise love the portal placements, you might wanna get that fixed. Good job all around, again!
This is CRAZY! When I first saw this, I was like "Cool! Someone found a bunch of awesome stages and shared them with us!". But you MADE... ALL of these?! Insanity. I've only made a revised Smash Run stage and it comes nothing close to ANY of these. Thank you for your hard work! :D
You know... a good amount of these could be tournament-worthy. I think the only things Stage Builder needs for TOs to seriously consider custom stages is the following: 1. Allow the respawn platform locations to be adjusted. 2. Allow the fighter start positions to be adjusted (although I think the game seems to be fairly competent at choosing them so far) 3. Fix the weird "wall" that exists on the sides of pass-through platforms. Great work on these stages!

Okay, so to be honest I thought the title of this video sounded a little pretentious, BUT seeing the thumbnail looked pretty good I checked it put because I've really been itching to see some really good stuff in stage builder and kinda haven't yet. And holy cow, most of these look great! This is just the kind of thing I've been waiting for people to do in stage builder! These are awesome! It baffles me what people can do with this new builder. Just earlier today, my little brother recreated the Clock Tower boss from Epic Mickey. It's ridiculous.
These are truly exceptional! I like the aesthetics, though a few I wish the platforms were closer to the originals (King Knight's stage looks the part but doesn't have a layout that looks familiar) but I know why you wouldn't do that (and I'd agree since its more playable, but now I want to make my own version for fun). Like I made my own Mother Brain, but it has a vertical wall like the original, but I don't think they are too bad. I also made a Noki Bay level, to go with your other Sunshine maps, but I didn't put nearly enough effort into it, so I don't know how fun it will be to play compared to the others.

Okay, so to be honest I thought the title of this video sounded a little pretentious, BUT seeing the thumbnail looked pretty good I checked it put because I've really been itching to see some really good stuff in stage builder and kinda haven't yet.
And holy cow, most of these look great! This is just the kind of thing I've been waiting for people to do in stage builder! Some of these look super fun and creative and really all of them look nice and well made. Kudos and thanks! I'll be downloading these soon!

I like the use of Joker in his school alt as Jeff in the Winters stage. Also the rotating ice disks in Waterfall were genius

I love all of these, though waterfall and all of the indie and Sonic stages are my favorite. Great work, you're the real Stage Builder MVP.
These are awesome! It baffles me what people can do with this new builder. Just earlier today, my little brother recreated the Clock Tower boss from Epic Mickey. It's ridiculous.

These are genuinely amazing. Reminds me of the days of when people would share Brawl Stage Builder Stages, except with a lot more style.
These are truly exceptional! I like the aesthetics, though a few I wish the platforms were closer to the originals (King Knight's stage looks the part but doesn't have a layout that looks familiar) but I know why you wouldn't do that (and I'd agree since its more playable, but now I want to make my own version for fun). Like I made my own Mother Brain, but it has a vertical wall like the original, but I don't think they are too bad. I also made a Noki Bay level, to go with your other Sunshine maps, but I didn't put nearly enough effort into it, so I don't know how fun it will be to play compared to the others.
