Bonjour, fabuleuses images !
Je suis un peu dérouté car on retrouve le même monsieur (grand, grisonnant, au nez busqué) dans le film "A bord du Normandie" tournée en août 1939 mais en couleurs (Agfa color je crois) commenté par Claude Villers. S'agit il d'extraits d'un autre film (noir et blanc) ? Qui était ce monsieur qui occupait le champ de la caméra de façon ostentatoire ?

That brief scene in the lounge inadvertently shows why Normandie was a commercial failure. It was just too grand, too sophisticated, too chic. Too many potential first class travelers preferred the less chic but homier Queen Mary, the only super liner of the time that consistently showed a profit. And second and third class cabins on Normandie were a bit cramped compared to the Queen. Still, what a wonder she was.
