I gave a Filipino Boxing, Panantukan and Silat Seminar in Holland with Marcel Vandongen from MATCH. Filipino martial arts are one of my favourite martial arts and the empty hand part is one of the area I enjoy the most. The method taught here is Inosanto Method, which is a blended method. The Silat techniques are from Maphilindo Silat, a mix between Silat from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The more that I see of Filipino martial Art's; the more impressed I am.
To me, PANANTUKAN is the most brutal, yet beautiful "neverending choreography", my whole life i did martial arts, but now, with 54years, getting fat and lazy, i went to dojo across my house and was suprised to see them offering PANANTUKAN. Since then i'd practice 3 times a week and now I'm still gettin fat and older BUT also more brutal and beautiful. LOVE IT!!!

You need practice and practice to play this way with your opponent but impressive.. Few moves look like Jee Kun Do.. To find a good Master is like a Journey. only few are very lucky to find them...
the wrestling one that is look like jiu jutsu, is silat, not FMA.

Every style ... got signature move.. positioning or post.. whatever you call this style 😅 no one knows.. common sense..!! Is a family treasure 😄😄
If you just evade and move around like a normal person and retract your punches when your throw them most of this will not affect you.... even though it is very cool do not put this on a pedestal
