Glad to show a portion of it. There were quite a number of art sites and I avoided the big fair at Dhoby Ghaut Green. They were playing music and I had to avoid it or RUclips would demonetise the video 😅
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV I will have something installed for the Singapore Biennale at International Plaza. It's called The Library of Unread Books. This will start around end of October.
Hello Alaan 🌻🌹🌸🌼☺☺ got time today again to watch your videos .. This night festival was beautiful and unique fir me. You filmed it beautifully. You rock it bro ❤❤👍👍 stay blessed and cheers
_Thank you so much Alan, for your exploratory walk at the Singapore Night Festival. Also for letting us have a peek at the probable highlight of the Festival, the interactive llght display at the Art and National museums. It was amazing and a real treat for us. Stay well and many thanks my friend!_ 🇸🇬👍😃
Happy for the walk and thankful for the weather. Its nice to see recognition of Chinese opera in such a setting. I was even more surprised to see them performing on the street so close by 😳😁
Thanks Chen! Glad to hear from you. I think I have much to learn in professional recording =P Can share some details but definitely not enough to teach anyone how to film
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Alan, I am in Bangkok again for the last leg of current filming project. Will be here for 3 weeks. Wake up at 6am, sleep at 1am from Monday to Saturday. Will earn good money, but not good for health and not good for my SG City Walks Channel. My channel viewership will drop further 😀😢😢
@@aashishjain3506 I am a bit hyped up for Deepavali and the Christmas light up at the end of the year. Will be glad to see the crowds come back as well =D
🙏 I film in Hlg3. I don't really like slog3. It's generally taxing for me to keep checking on exposure. That said I understand its a night festival and I should be more sensitive to the lighting and exposure values. Will do better for future shoots 🙏
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV I used to shoot in HLG3/BT2020 but since switching over to A7IV I only shoot in S-log3/s-gamut3.cine. It has better dynamic range than HLG3. Anyway your videos are awesome. Keep it up. 👍👏🏼👏🏼
@@PuthethuKollam Thanks for providing some context =) I once tried filming in slog3 but for some reason I actually found it alot more challenging to normalise colours (to real world), it gets alot harder when rendering it to HDR (which I might add, i don't have the appropriate display to do it). So its alot of trial and error, and I just stuck to HLG3 as its the closest I can edit the colours too. Hopefully one day I will have the budget to buy a real HDR display for edits! =D
14:00. I find it very ironic and amusing, when there is a authentic Traditional Chinese soap opera set up around HDB people find it as disturbing and noisy and you will not see any youngsters. The moment you put Traditional Chinese soap opera in a metropolitan settings all the youngsters suddenly find it very artistic, interesting and start to taking pictures. hahahahahaha
Great video. I am fan. While many countries have started to open back up, it is too bad that SG still remains closed to foreign travelers (except for those who were gullible enough to take the c19 vax aka clot shot and those who have a special invitation by the government).
Thanks Mike. Glad to hear from you 😊 hopefully the covid pandemic will become normalised around the world and people can carry on with their lives as per pre-covid days. Shouldn't be too long before we remove that criteria. Our government has already given us news that they will remove the mandatory indoor mask mandate (except for public transport and hospitals). Just waiting on the dates for it 😁
Mike ... I thought they announced during the week that non vaxxed people can now travel freely into Singapore 😉 Also, not really a forum to air your personal opinions of others who happen to think differently to you ... cheers
@@anneashdown5539 Thanks for the reply Anne =D Yes! You are correct. From 28th August non vaccinated travellers can enter Singapore without quarantine. Just need to show a pre-departure test within two days of leaving for Singapore

There's so much to look at during the Night Festival. It's so great that you're sharing this with everyone!
Glad you manage to see a little of the festival. Lots more I didn't cover. When are we going to see your next art display? 😁

incredible walk, really amazed at the video quality even at night time. Mind sharing what camera you used?

Hey, any idea if there is any such fest during December
I think December it will just be Chirstmas lights. I believe the Singapore Film Festival will be held on Nov/Dec though
