Interesting echo fighter fact: dark Samus is slightly lower to the ground meaning it can hit ness/Lucas with an up smash at point blank
Another fact: dark Samus is slightly weaker than Samus by a 3% difference
Samus does slight more damage
Another one : the first hitbox of its upSmash is bigger than the last hitbox, in contrary to Samus whose first hitbox is smaller and last hitbox is bigger. It means Dark Samus can catch smaller opponents with its upSmash, but said upSmash won't connect as well as Samus'es
Is there something like that for peach/daisy ?
@@evanex3972 The only difference I could find is that the posture of Daisy when standing extend her hurtbox very, VERY slightly to the sides. Also, Daisy had SSB4 turnips (DownB) before 2.0.0

@Aaron Felix I'd argue that both "she" and "it" are equally usable here because Dark Samus, much like the SA-X, is an amalgam of Samus' DNA and another entity's (this one being Metroid Prime). Official material refers to Dark Samus as both "she" and "it" fairly interchangeably. DS is definitely not our noble heroine though, she's got a sadistic streak several light-years wide! She's not even just a cold intelligence trying to survive and thrive in the way the SA-X was (that one only hunted Samus because it knew she was the only real threat the X could possibly face), DS is an active malevolence who delights in causing pain and suffering and just wants to destroy life as it currently is through Phazon corruption.
@@TransientWitch Dark Samus' goal is/was to devour as much Phazon to reach critical levels, enough that it mutated even herself. Could explain her appearance and motive change in prime 3. In prime 3, that's where she worked on spreading the influence of Phazon, continuing her home planet's goal of turning other plants into "living" planet's, just like Phaaze.
Fun fact: Peach’s forward air actually uses her sharp crown to attack, which is why it’s so strong for what it looks like.
