Really rather good. The effects were very good. Pity we can't go back to the sixties and have a groundhog decade, with the Hole in the Road etc. Sheffield looked so good then, ah well progress is good - so they say.
Interesting video. One mistake though, The Town Hall Peace gardens transition. The fountains seen in the revamped Peace Gardens were not present when the old egg box extension to town hall was there.
are you sure about that? I need to look up some more photos to if I am remembering it different haha. Just checked and yes the fountain was there, see this photo www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bbc.co.uk%2Fsouthyorkshire%2Fcontent%2Fimage_galleries%2Fsheffield_then_and_now_vin_rigby_gallery.shtml%3F4&psig=AOvVaw2gVCBYTA_PREoNcwq-u0Jm&ust=1590135932195000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCLDH55LExOkCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD

Many fond memories of growing up in Sheffield. Shame a lot of the city centre that you showed has succumbed to a lack of investment.
really enjoyed this - thank you

Great video. Thanks for sharing. A couple of years out on the Egg Box. It was knocked down in 2002.
Mostly Box buildings now
