Hi, good video, and nice to see progress on your layout. My first layout still building on it.I have Hornby Elite with Railmaster, after a few hiccups, and some great assistants from Brian Hughes on you tube , worth looking at Brian s site. ,all running very well, just downloaded for running on iPad. I'm happy with what I have now.Everyone seems to be swapping and changing at the moment , big on Z21, well after the expense on Hornby and the Z21 would cost me around $ 700 in Australia , I'm sticking with Hornby. Can purchase a great deal for railway with the 700!!Priorities!Richard from Western Australia
Railmaster is one of those pieces of software you either love it or hate it. Depending on what you want to do it can come in quite costly, as I have found out over the years. I've stuck with it and it does what I want it to do. Even with the Pro Version you only get the 6 sound functions on the iPad app & quick access on the screen (locos to the right). However if you double click the loco you want it then gives you a pop out that allows you to scroll down through the sound functions (PC Only). I've got the full 21 (might be 24 I forget) functions on the Dapol Class 68 on there. I'm sure that function is available on the non pro version also. From my point of view the only useful thing I've seen from the Pro Pack is the additional points on there. Others may use other functions, but to be honest was it worth £30 just to have an angled point? Probably not & probably could have lived without it. At least with the Elite you have the choice of using the control or the PC Control. Hope you go a little further with it, as it does grow on you.
Hi i bought everything todo with the elink/elite and it did work for a bit but went to turn it all on it came up with that i didn't have the licences and i couldn't run it and it will not run on my pc so at xmas told my wife i wanted a new controller so she went out and bought me the ecos controller so now am working that but RM was good when it all worked
Hi Susannah, very nice start. Have a look at this site, the chap is a bit of an expert with Railmaster:ruclips.net/video/sfqei3Wm4D4/видео.html&feature=em
Sorry Susannah, but could your problems be from buying cheap software from Ebay. When there are other sellers at a dearer but more realistic price. £12.99 seems far too cheap for this.
susannah its could a rip off .and i was you i would let them know, and tell them you have been on youtube to warn off those who are thinking of getting it.good luck with it maybe you will persevere with it.
There are a few issues. I have set up rail master on a tablet pc rather than a desktop. This removes the need to set up more licences. The track plan issue you have is more you need to Represent as close as you can with the tools you have you will never get it to be an exact match.
Susannah Joaquim I have done a video on connecting the controller to the software. I have been told that it’s quite good. If you get stuck check it out

Thanks for commenting but the jury is still out for me but haven't given up on it yet. I can see the potential in it though. We shall see! Susannah

Yes Dundee roads videos on this are very good have help me out with my e link and rail master no end can’t wait for the next one.
Hornby!!!!Frustrating, always a hidden cost. Get a Z21. It will probably work out cheaper, see Graham's site.
