Emergency tones sound in Manasquan before wild thunderstorm

Emergency evacuation tones advising residents to seek shelter sound in Manasquan moments before a severe thunderstorms rolled through town, causing power outages and knocking down overhead wires at least three utility poles at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Brielle Road at the Manasquan beachfront on Saturday, April 1, 2023. There were no reports of injuries as of 9pm.
