I met the creators of 5 in a Row last week at our little library. They live about 15 min from me. Who knew!? It was fun hearing their story…

I’ve been a FIAR lurker for so long, but Cranberry Thanksgiving mini unit was enough to make me jump in! Just downloaded, thanks to you! ❤️

Every year I’m inspired by your vlogmas. I know you don’t do them anymore but I still enjoy going back to those videos for family fun. :)

Thank you for this. I haven't heard of Fine in a Row, but am definitely ordering a few mini units for the next few months!

We don’t really change what we are doing for the holiday :) It took me a while to realize that that worked better for us. I love seeing what everyone else is doing though.

Thank you for sharing about FIAR! I started bfiar with my 4 year old and we LOVE it. It’s been such a blessing. Totally doing these mini units!!

I’m excited for the new Cranberry Thanksgiving mini unit! Can you share more about what you do for Christmas in other countries? Is there a unit study you use?

We are rowing The Rag Coat & Cranberry Thanksgiving. I think these units are perfect for the holidays (a good balance between work and play) :)

I need to learn how to say NO and not over booking. Unfortunately every year for 5 years, I haven’t learned that yet. 😢

When your children are studying the country for Christmas, do you use anything in particular? A book to internet? Combo?

I am only a few years into homeschooling and I’ve never tried a gather ‘round style curriculum. Would trying a mini unit study be a good trial run for us to see how we like it? These five in a row studies sound great.

I love that you are sharing your holiday homeschool plans! I am still finalizing what I am going to be doing for the holidays. We tend to take a big pivot from normal curriculum to do more unit based/activity based things from Thanksgiving to New Years. Lots of exploring how other countries celebrate Christmas and different traditions we have. I wasn't able to add my video to your list, but if you are able to add it, I would be so appreciative! ruclips.net/video/sHAH1Ayhec8/видео.html This week we started NaNoWriMo in our homeschool, so it is a bit lighter on other resources so we can focus a lot of our time on writing.

Hi Abby, I'm just starting to even think about Christmas planning! LOL I struggled too when I tried to add my video...I've never had that be a thing until this year. If you could add my link to the playlist I would very much appreciate it! Have a wonderful Christmas season with your kiddos, hubby and sweet baby! Jayme ruclips.net/video/fOkpERNv7Mg/видео.html
