  • It’s the last days of December 2023. The weather has been going back and forth between mild and cloudy days, and bright beautiful sunny and cold days.
Today I went for a walk in the nearby forest.

I love your woods and the trees as you film. I have 15 acres of partial woods on y property, here in U.S.A. We have had snow on and off now since November and it will continue until Mid-end of April. Temps average -10 to 20 outside. It's hard to deal with, especially being on the tail end of 69 and a widow after 44 years. I let my hair grow out in 2019, no more hair dyes. After one year, I had my hair cut to shoulder length, just to get rid of the dark hair as it bothered me to look at it. These last 3.5 years I have let my hair grow. It's nearly to my waist, again. Its a beautiful sliver white, which I feel is a gift from God. Thank you for sharing part of your life with us all.

How many hours of daylight do you have at this time of year? Can you ever see the Northern Lights? Your gray hair is a lovely color!

We have 6 hours daylight here now. From about 9 am to 3 pm.
We can see the northern lights sometimes here. Not so often, because we live in the south of Sweden.
      Thank you 💖

I just discovered you from your knitting podcast. Thank you for the beautiful and peaceful landscape videos. We have had no snow here in the Washington DC area for over two years and I really miss it.

Thank you 💖 I'm happy that you found this channel as well. We have quite a lot of snow here now, and it has been really cold, about -30 C (-22 F).

You are lucky your hair is so light, mine is grey, dark, and bland. It is 4years this year since i grew it all out and it is unfortunately nowhere near as nice as yours. The real issue is you think you no longer belong anywhere because society says only young women are valid. But the root is patriarchal capitalism. Don't be an object to be used unless its for those who require care, compassion, kindness - and yourself. Aging, sickness, death ALL natural. Get more comfortable with Nature. Its all well to walk in Nature, but the perception is that Nature is outside ... while completely misunderstanding that this body IS Nature and belongs to Nature and is exactly as its supposed to be. Did you ask to bleed then stop? No. This body is NOT YOU. Next walk, look at fallen leaves, the sun setting, the snow that will soon fade away - this is what to watch and identify with as it is truth. All the lies you tell yourself come from societal conditioning and are not 'you.' Open your eyes, your heart, see the truth! All you need do is not have hate in the heart and greet what comes as a friend, this way you will see the truth of Nature and think twice about trying to degrade it by believing you must be something other than what you are right now. Be present. Here. This is it, this is life now, there is no there, just here, don't waste it by wishing you could be exactly as some man says a woman should be! In nature on a walk, see the truth that life and death coexist in harmony. No tree says it is better or worse or its leaves are not as attractive. This vanity is a belief one has control over Nature - its a male desire to live forever as young and exciting, its ruined trillions of lives. wake up!
