My "New" Vintage Sanko (Janome 535 Model) Troubleshooting a used sewing machine!

I just received in the mail a New Vintage SANKO SEWING MACHINE! In this video I will take you step by step what you like MUST do when you buy a previously owned Vintage sewing machine or any USED sewing machine or you might be setting yourself up for a stressful first moment instead of an Exciting one! Of course! I was able to fix the stitching problem and it had a lot to do with a part that had been "over-worked", stitches great now!

Hi, thanks for the video! I just picked up this machine for $10. It is missing the bobbin cover plate, round piece with arms that hold the bobbin in place and the presser foot holder. I am looking for replacement pieces but I think it would help me to know what singer model this is a clone for.

What do I do to make it normal stitch. It's stuck on embroidery stitch and also losing the tension as I carry on even with the embroidery. It's a Jenome model 535.174489.
I also struggled with the threading as it has no manual. Please help.
