I just bought a Elitedesk 600 g2 with 16gb ram, i7-6700 and 250gb ssd for 120 dollar, what a steal lol.
Tyyyy sooo much I was able to find 500w psu for my build
I have had few of these I bought barebone, no ram or cpu. I am typing this on a HP 800 G4 SFF, I only play a couple of lightweight games so G5400, 32gb DDR4 and Arc A310 with the stock 250w Psu, I really like that style of desktop.
i have exacly like you, i,am not swapping the psu but i use 2 Psu in Gpu and it"s work perfect
Next time, please try the Intel Core i7-7700K, which is the maximum CPU supported by that PC, and share your results.
4core of i5 6500 is very weak pairing it with a 3060 would bottleneck the hell out of it. I suggest go with an i7 6700 or if possible get a newer generation with more that 4 core (I have i5 6500 so I know it)
Xeon E3 1270 v5 ;) 25€

@@FilippoCarrux Are the Xeons supported?
@@GunMedalGleam yes, they should be.
@@FilippoCarrux I need someone too confirm this. From what im seeing, the amount of boards that work with 6th gen Xeons are incredibly rare. I think that is the reason why the i7 6700 is still fairly expensive because there is not a Xeon alternative.
Make a video for prodesk 600 g3 mt. Please
50-60 fps gamplay😍😍
I7-14700 (non K, undervolt) 32gb sasta kitna hoga (hdd, monitor nahi chahiye)
Recently bought one of these to use as a Plex Server. It came with 8gb of Ram and crappy 128GB SSD, swapped it out for 1 tb NVME and put in 48GB of ram. Not sure if i want to swap out the power-supply, not even sure what it has, but i will eventually put in a Graphics card, nothing great, something with about 4gb of VRAM.
considering youre using it for plex, just go for something simple and efficient like the gtx 1650, plus you can use it with any PSU because it doesnt require external power :)
yo tengo una dell optiplex 7060 MT, supongo que en esta funcionaria un poco mejor esa grafica...ya que la mia tiene un i7 8th gen...
I have an elitedesk 800 g4 with the 250w psu. Where can I get the 500w psu to replace the current psu. Any help will be very much appreciated
For the HP power supply that I used in this video, the model is PA-5501-2HA. I purchased it from AliExpress for US$58 with free shipping. The HP EliteDesk Desktop Tower PC offers two power supply options: 250W and 500W, depending on the configuration buyers order. Occasionally, HP users may sell their PC or that PSU. To purchase the HP 500W power supply, you can shop online at stores like eBay, Amazon, or AliExpress. Alternatively, you can explore local markets, computer shops, or your local Facebook Marketplace. Personally, I’ve bought a Dell 500W power supply from a Facebook Marketplace near my hometown. Thank you!
Have you had any issues with the pc since you swapped the psu?
Some technician told me it can kill the motherboard. I just want to be extra cautious :-)
I am considering this exact same pc with a rtx 3050 6gb for 360 dollars. On some refurbished hardware retailer. How is the fps? And is it capable of having windows 11 installed
The HP EliteDesk 800 G3 supports Intel Core 6th and 7th generation CPUs. However, these Intel Core 6th and 7th gen processors are not officially supported for Windows 11. Users can still install Windows 11 by bypassing the security check. Since I haven’t tested it with an RTX 3050 on this HP Desktop PC, I’m unsure about its performance. Perhaps next time, I’ll try the RTX 3050 on an HP system with 6th or 7th gen Intel CPUs and share the results with you. Thank you.
someoan here knows if a normal size psu fit in that case?
I tried to install a regular PSU, but the screw holes turned out to be completely different. Additionally, there’s no cable adapter compatible with that PC motherboard. And if you decide to install a standard motherboard, you’ll encounter another issue-the case won’t allow you to remove the I/O shield. Thanks.
I have a g3 7700 , is 500 watts enough for a 3060 ?
Yes, It will work fine.
is it normal for motherboard to have no heatsink?
Yes, it’s normal for some motherboards to lack heatsinks. Budget or older models may not include them. However, premium motherboards often have heatsinks on the chipset and VRMs for better cooling. It depends on the specific motherboard and its intended use. 😊
Where did you manage to find a 500W HP power supply?
Certainly, I purchased this PSU from AliExpress for $58 USD. Thank you.
@@itggear3400 Thank you let me check it out, I don't know if they ship to Kenya
You would have used RX6400 without replacing the PSU. RX6400 still a very capable LP Graphic card.
pc 🔝 coolers💀
I’ve ordered a dual-chamber 92mm air cooler, and it’s on the way now. Once I receive it, I will upgrade my PC, and I’ll probably share a new video. So please stay tuned. Thank you!🥰
6500 very old
tearing
Maybe because I didn’t turn on V-Sync, as my monitor is 60Hz, the gameplay isn’t as smooth.
give me disss pc bro
huge cpu bottleneck
