If you have acne prone skin do not follow her method of “going to church cleansing” because your skin may not forgive you.
don't do it anyway, it's disgusting, all of that pollution sinking into your skin ew
I have severely acne prone skin.. that’s why I’m very skeptical about this oil or balm cleansing that everyone’s been talking about.
I used to think the same thing, but my heavily acne prone skin of 5 years reached a whole new level of misery when I was diagnosed with lupus 2 years ago, so I tried an precleanse oil and follow-up face oil as a last ditch effort. My skin has literally never looked better or been healthier over the last 10 years, since even before my skin started flaring up. Sure I have a blemish every once in a while, but nothing compared to what it once was. It is just glowing all the time, which I've never experienced before now. You just have to really pay attention to what's in them because some oils promote congestion, but the good ones actually mimic your skin's sebum production which helps balance your skin out because it's no longer overproducing and clogging your pores. Many clean oils are actually anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and capable acne prone skin without stripping it of its natural oils. In my personal experience, I swear by the precleanse oils by Goop and True Botanicals, as well as their face oils. I've thrown away literally everything that came before them. They are worth the investment and a little goes a long way. True Botanicals even has a "Clear" collection targeted toward acne prone skin, which I use everyday. @@priyanka0183
I think that skincare really depends on one’s skin. I have oily, sensitive acne-prone skin and I double cleanse (kiehl’s midnight recovery oil+ Vichy pureté thermale gel cleanser) as I’ve noticed it removes my SPF and possible dirt from the day better. I used to use products that were targeted only for oily acne prone skin and my skin was in real bad shape (When I’d wake up, it would be as if I had slathered cooking oil on my face...) Also, since I used to hide my acne with foundation, so it probably didn’t help either. But I only wear powder every now and then and have less acne. What works for one person may or may not work for another (for ex: i found that oconut oil doesn’t work for me whereas it works for all my friends). I don’t see those videos as education for my personal skincare hygiene. Most of them are getting facials +/- injections that we (or at least I) can not afford on a regular basis... On another note, drinking during pregnancy? Please no...
Nicole Fox thank you for the suggestion...
Lol at all these comments who think celebrities look young because they wash their face every night. It’s the thousands of dollars in facial treatments and injections that does it.
True.
She doesn't look young though....she's 32 and she looks older.
Emma, jealous much?
jazz girl i clicked it because trout i finally found a 40 something video
Natalie M. U r right
Damn some of these comments are so harsh. At least she's being honest about not sticking to her skincare routine every night. I still think she's pretty and fresh and looks real, unlike a lot of people nowadays who get too much filler. Plus she's funny which is always attractive.
I so agree. 👏🏻 Why does everyone act like they’ve never sinned? Lol
Yes she is pretty and real. I don’t agree with fresh. I’m concerned that if she DOES care, then she HAS to change her skincare, or lack thereof immediately. If not things are going to get bad really quick. From early thirties to early forties, is really a shift in hormones, thus skin starts going downhill quick without care. She doesn’t look great for only 32 😕 I mean, as an esthetician, I’ve seen worse. But the situation is bleak if she keeps this up even another two years. Now she may not care, and that’s perfectly fine. There ARE women who don’t care. But in the industry she is in, her looks are part of her job security so it’s just surprising.
Satans Lair that’ll do it!
She is really pretty sure. But not Washing your make- up. I am 25 and honestly i wash my makeup everyday
Bring on the queen Candice Swanepoel 👑 💫 ☄ in this #gotobedwithme series!
Yeah that's true
Susan Yara is going to drag this woman through the dirt
haha my thought exactly, I could practically see her cringe
Hahaha! I was totally thinking that as I watched this. Love it.
she was doing decent until she skipped moisturizer
sophie coad she’s being so rough with her skin i can feel susan cringing!
sophie coad
For not taking her makeup off every night?
I love her! She’s honest and funny. Im sure she’s not the only celeb that doesn’t take their makeup off every day Lol
I fell in love with Brooklyn Decker while watching Grace and Frankie. I think she’s fun and would be a wonderful girlfriend to have as a gal pal. We all have had skincare faux pas, and I appreciate her realness with hers. I love watching these videos. Maybe it’s not what you would do for your skin, but I think we need to love a little more with these humans who come on here. Plus if you’re real serious about your skin then work with a professional, but let’s lighten up a bit :)
I couldn't have said this better! Thank you! I love Brooklyn and Grace & Frankie too :)
I love how her routine doesn’t involve 50 different high end skincare items. Sometimes less is more :)
julesinlife Agreed!! 👏🏻
But it should really involve removing makeup every day.
That vintners daughters serums that she used is about £175 and that is clinical serums is £70, deffo not cheap
But nothing 6 days a week is never more!
Do Jada Pinkett Smith, she literally hadn't aged at all, we love to see what she does!
Greta Belle it’s called Botox and fillers
I would like to see her routine.
No she literally has aged. Every year one year older.
Jada has ageid and has a lot of filler in her cheeks nor a good look imo. Her mom looks better
Ewww she has a million things in her weird alien face and it makes her look old and awful ! What the hell are you talking about?
She is so down to earth! Loved this one. People are haters 🙄
Her doctor said she could have wine while pregnant? Excuse me?
And her serum that she used instead of "retinol" during pregnancy still has retinol in it. She is dummy.
Ok so she sleeps with makeup on 6 days out of 7 and her "skin forgives her". I NEVER do it and still get acne. Life is fair.
do jlo or christina aguilera skin care routine
I really wish she kept the scrunchie in before doing the serum and tan application
Susan Yara NEEDS to react to this
I loved her. Honest and funny. People are such drags
Omg she does realize the pro heal serum actually INCLUDES retinol....
she is 32 thought she was 40 something lmao
do not sleep with your makeup on like her incase you wanna look old
omg i thought she is 45
Yeah wtf
Wait, your doctor told you you could have wine while pregnant??
Oleanna Thomson you can have wine when your pregnant just like once a week.
@@shannonjhn no you can't even if it's like once your child could have FAS.
I personally wouldn’t recommend alcohol at all because we simply do not know the limits on what amount is acceptable before FAS kicks in. However, it’s false information to say absolutely no alcohol because, keep in mind, there are plenty of women who consumed alcohol while being unaware they were pregnant and ceased as soon as they found out. Also, I went to an Ivy League university whereby the professor showed us studies on the issue. There are other countries in the world that do not subscribe to the USA’s zero tolerance policy. So an American might say none, a non-American might say a glass of wine once in awhile. I say none because I think it’s selfish to risk the quality of life for your child since we don’t have a concrete evidence on what the exact limit is.
I was thinking the same! What a terrifying thought
Tragic.
Brooklyn Decker sounds like a brand name for batteries or industrial products: "The Brooklyn Decker hammer drill".
The only useful comment on there.
Y’all don’t understand she just had kids. That puts a lot of stress on your body!! Not everyone’s body bounces back the same! So don’t judge her!
I need Susan Yara to react to this
Yes!
Oh boy...I already know what it's gonna look like
Please ask the celebs what other treatments they get frequently because we know not washing your make up doesn’t give you that smooth beautiful baby skin 😬😬🥰
I have to admit that I don't take my makeup off every night too and I have good skin and don't get any expensive treatments. Sometimes it just boils down to people's genes.
Can u do Kerry Washington?
Yes!!!
This routine is so wrong but I love her so much. 😭😭😭😭😭
She has a good personality!
There is something I LOVE about this woman she is one of the most beautiful to me and love her personality
IT must feel incredibly glowy when you finally scrubbed your face after a week of accumulating junk
i get the feeling that they all thrown in that i don’t always remove my make up to appear nonchalant and uncaring about their looks but i don’t believe it for a second....every person that is featured on here (most) is cuz they’re attractive and their job etc i relies on their good looks so y wud u not take care of it....
This is every thing you shouldn’t do to your skin!
I love her honesty!!! This was real LOL
Seeing her read an actual physical book makes me so happy, because most of the people I know do not like that
The Is Clinical Pro Heal Serum is NOT a replacement in any way for a retinol or retinoids. It’s first 3 ingredients in order are water, ascorbic acid, denatured alcohol. At best it’s a vitamin C serum with some good ingredients. But when denatured alcohol is listed within the first 5 ingredients you are considerable risk for sensitising and damaging your skin. Does no one read ingredient lists? Vinter’s Daughter also, phew! 😧
I love how so many are just casually mentioning that they have acne, dehydrated skin/reactive skin and then proceed with their routine that includes not washing your face for days, sleeping with make up, using 3 products in a row that have exfoliating role in skincare, not using products in the order that is intended. I watched a lot of these videos and I am truly suprised that most of them have no idea what they are doing. It should be common sense to wash your face in the evening though
Dua lipa please!!!
👍
There are a lot of mistakes here, for sure, but the freak-out in the comment section is a bit hilarious. Clearly, she has very resilient skin, which some people just do. (Serena Williams, I'm looking at you and your beautiful skin that's somehow the product of coconut oil over half-removed make-up.) If you have reactive, easily congested skin, much like myself, doing this routine would destroy your face in less than a week, but she looks great, clearly. She's gonna do what she wants, and I say, let live. For one, not everyone can cope with basic hygiene when new babies come along. People wash their hair less or stop shaving their legs, and some people will go to bed still wearing make-up from sheer exhaustion/lack of sleep. Sometimes it's post-natal depression. Other times, people pick themselves up again once they adjust. Just don't take her routine as any kind of actual advice.
Plus, as others have pointed out, celebrities have access to a huge amount of clinical-strength skin treatments and aesthetician appointments (some literally see a facialist every day prior to important events or during heavy filming schedules!), which goes a huge way to countering damage and improving skin resilience. With a facialist on-set to work with you, you might just get away with "church cleansing" and never moisturising, etc. Regular folks can't afford anything like that, so we need to be preventative and responsible with our skincare. Do right by yourself, but don't stress-out over celebrity skincare routines.
Love this episode! She is down to earth as well as having a simple but effective skincare routine! She knows how to take care of her skin! I wish she could use eye makeup remover to remove eye makeup cause it will be more gentle and effective!
Do people not realize how gross it is to go so long without washing your face... your face gets dirty like every other part of you. Imagine going “oh haha I call it my church shower cause I go to bed sweaty and smelly every day and then at the end of the week I shower and my body forgives me :)”
BROOKLYN IS SO CUTE!
she said she cannot use retinal but the key ingredient in pro heal serum is retinol...hmmm, weird
Xiaolongbao she is not currently pregnant
the key ingredient there is vitamin C, you are wrong
Retinol whilst you pregnant you can't use. Did not know that. Bonus though unlike other episodes at least she wasn't using Neutrogena wipes 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I dont know why she thought it was okay to say that she sleeps with her makeup. She was so enthusiastic about it
You should get jlo or Paris hilton
But pro heal serum has retinol in it though🤔
You should get Jennifer Lawrence on here!!
Tyler serjeant yes !
'I take baths in wine and use cetaphil', meh...
jazz girl she looks phenom
The camera isn’t even close up and I can see she’s still got eyeshadow on...how can she not notice it and remove it...
Julia D the lady said she never takes her makeup off, she probably doesn’t care if she still has eyeshadow on.
SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
You can have WINE WHEN YOU"RE PREGNANT?
Heedy you can have a little. But I don’t see why any loving mother would risk their child’s safety just so they can have some wine. Better not to have any
Yes, not excessively, but read up on some studies. It can be beneficial for certain women.
Elon Musk there are actually benefits to certain wine. So it has nothing to do with being a loving mother. We know a lot more now than we used to! Plenty of studies out there to suggest this. For a woman with Hyperemesis & anemia, red wine is a God send!
@@BethanySchmidtEsthetics can you link the papers? I'm a neuroscientist, and even though that has nothing to do with neo-natal care, except fetal brain development, I'll be able to judge the validity of the studies...Also, I'm genuinely curious.
Heedy don’t have them on hand 😒 I know they are in my citations on some of my nursing school papers. (I had planned on working in L&D, but wound up in Peds vaccine research) But I found them in the AAP and the AJM. As well as different research databanks online 👍🏽
Is no one gonna talk about how her “something sweet” is iced tea
You cant use retinol once in a while during pregnancy, but wine is ok ????
She is so pretty! I don't think she has done anything to her face.
મારા સિવાય એન્જિનિયરિંગ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ટ્રિલિયન પાઉન્ડ વિસ્ફોટ
Susan!!!
@SusanYara ‘s nightmare haha
She was allowed to have alcohol during her pregnancy by her gynecologist!! Woah
Her skin looks great to be frank. If she’s only removing her makeup once a week, I seriously don’t think her skin will look that good - even with regular facials and injections. Facials/Botox can only do so much if the skin is in a bad shape to begin with. She’s just joking....
Michelle Neo i don’t think so. She’s only 32 and looks 45, it’s definitely aging her lol
She doesn’t need to state that she sleeps with makeup on, you can see the damage and aging around her eyes from that and rubbing with dry cotton pads
I don't think she realizes that her skin isn't forgiving her for not taking her makeup off daily. I think most people skip every now and then (and even that's not a good thing). Honestly, I hope her routine has changed since this was recorded and she starts spending more time to take care of herself, she deserves it.
I'd love to see how older women take care and have taken care of their skin
wait...WINE?? while PREGNANT??? uhm...
She looks 40+ perhaps improve the routine
there's life after 40... You'll get to it too! :-)
@@inna7417 me?
Honestly she kind of looks older than she is... she’s only 31 here I would think she was late thirties...
I loved her in the first 60 seconds lol- and also she just has great genetics because too many skincare mistakes lol
Tiffany Young please!!
Washed face once a week...”I’m so glowy”
I like how she is naturally funny and herself.
🤣🤣🤣 she's hilarious 😂
she should do another movie with adam Sandler I think they don good in just go with it
How are y’all going to have a heretic on here! She clearly is making deals with the devil not removing her makeup every night and still having that clear skin 😉
You should wash the oil first and then use a foam cleanser
Tan in your skincare routine ? Next please .
I love her. And she looks amazing.
I need a healing serum she uses is clinical serum.
Why is she acting like going to bed with a dirty face 6 out of 7 days is cute? No thank you....also she's 32 but I thought she was in her 40s. Maybe she should wash her face more often.
I’m off to bed, sweet dreams😘😴😘
Looooooove 💕💕💕💕
What!!!I loved this, she's honest and real about her skin and routine,so what that she doesn't take her makeup off sometimes....do you think she gives a shit!!!Some of you need to relax ffs.....love her AND her routine.
Yesss rubbing!! Her eyes turned red as f*!
Jlo next please
I LOVE HER!
You should not have wine while pregnant 😬.... Maybe you were joking?
You look beautiful without make up! But STOP!!!! rubbing your eyes so hard!!!! Bad, bad, bad!!!! Dont rub your skin so hard! But you look better without make up!!!
Palmer
❤💚💙💜💛🧡
Who is this....
All is NOT forgiven
wow, Im surprised her routine is so bad, hoped she would be more careful with her skin
What what?? Her doctor told her she could drink wine while pregnant?? 2:31
Waste my time
My beautiful daughter is named 'BROOKLYN'..
OMG SHE BOTHERS ME!!!! Anyone else really bothered by her?
I applaud the honesty but how on Earth is she going to bed without removing makeup ?!? Eeeek.
I love that she isn't using only crazy expensive products. She seems down to earth. Love her from Grace and Frankie.
Why would we know that she couldn't use retinol products during her pregnancy? Ugh......
She does prob remove the makeup in the morning right?
i came to the comments after she mentioned her gyno said ok to wine during pregnancy
@susanyara
How old is she 🤔
I don’t know this person but found her very charismatic and sweet. Very likeable.
I'm afraid that that serum that she chose for pregnancy period actually contains retinol.. Btw all is quite disgusting
Love her!!! Especially in just go with it movie she's gorgeous!!!!
