my mower no longer starts, I cannot open it up after taking all screws out. Do you know how I can remove the cover to inspect the motor and inside components?
@@BlakesGarage1 Nothing, when I put in the battery, usually there is a beep beep to show the battery is inserted, but when I put in a battery (several of them) no sound, So maybe the fuse is blown. Trying to open it but I can't.
No resistance on the cable indicates a problem with the startup mechanism under the orange button. There are a few screws to remove or if you gently hold it a twist just slightly, the button will pop out and you'll have resistance again.
@@Nghiavovo Make sure you push the start button FIRST then pull back the bar. If you pull the bar then the start button it won't start. That might be your issue...I hope.
I took your advice and ordered one. But it comes with only one year warranty for battery. I will probably buy extended warranty offered by E-bay. I hope everything works out okay. Thanks for your video!
Thanks for the information! I am considering to buy one. Although Battery powered electric mowers cost more but pays off in the long run as long as battery lasts long (yes, I know virtually no maintenance and environmentally friendly). I don't want to replace the battery every year either (this battery costs about$200). I have a Craftman 22 " gas mower about to fall apart. It takes 3/4 gallon of gas and 45 minutes to 1 hour to mow the lawn. Should I just get a gas mower? What's your opinion?
These mowers are absolute TRA$H. Batteries don't stay charged very long esp if you use that self-propelled function, 10 minutes max for me. On my 2nd summer, didn't use it too much last summer. Terrible design. Grass clippings get trapped at the side chute and at the back, where clippings go if you were to use the catcher, but what happens is those clippings will get trapped and stop the blade. You constantly have to turn it over, grab those trapped clippings then restart. If I could give it a minus 5 rating I would. Now, after using it today, the battery decides it doesn't want to charge, probably an issue w/ the charger, green light will flash but after a minute it goes full green like it's fully charged. Made in China TRA$H!

When you pull the handle to start is there any resistance or is the cable slack?

Blake's Garage there’s resistance. I tried everything. Now is there a way to take this mower apart?
You should do an update on your Robot redback mower
Unfortunately winter came to iowa today with 4 inches of snow but I will update as soon as possible. Thanks for watching!

@@yongminhuh146 redback is or at least was on huge clearance. With a 5 year warranty I would highly recommend going that route.
@@BlakesGarage1 5 year warranty on battery then I will definitely consider buying Redback.
I know the mower itself comes with 5 year warranty. I want to make sure that the battery comes with is also covered under 5 year. warranty.
