    📣📣Instructions:📣📣
    I used the following:
    Cup turner
    30 oz cup from Hogg
    Counter Culture Fast Set Epoxy
    Glitter of your choice. I used Backfist Custom Glitter’s “Platinum Dust” on my first and last layer of epoxy. I used BCG’s “Hong Kong” on the bottom first layer and Byrdsnest Designs “Hey Beautiful” on the second bottom layer.
    Sticker or decal of your choice
    1. Spray or paint your cup with your choice of paint. Let dry completely.
    2. Mix epoxy using a 1-1 ratio. I use 20mls (10 mls of each) on my first coat. I also added about one teaspoon of Backfist Custom Glitter’s “Platinum Dust” glitter in the epoxy and cover my entire cup. I use Counter Culture DIY epoxy.
    As soon as your first layer of epoxy is smooth, but still wet, sprinkle your glitter on the bottom half, while the epoxy is still wet. Use heat gun or torch to pop bubbles. Let dry completely.
    3. If your cup isn’t smooth, you can wet sand it. (Sand it smooth while running under water) Let dry completely. If it is smooth, skip this step.
    4. Place sticker or waterslide of your choice where desired on your cup.
    5. Mix 30 mls of epoxy(15 mls each). I also added another 1/2 teaspoon of platinum dust to my top layer of epoxy for a super sparkly finish.
    6. Apply final layer of epoxy using a heat gun or torch to pop bubbles, and let spin until completely dry.
    Be sure to use a heat gun or torch to pop the bubbles immediately after applying each layer of epoxy. But, keep the heat moving and don’t let it sit in one place or you will burn your epoxy.
    If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments or message me on Instagram or Facebook at Monner’s Market.

      Hello, I tried to follow the instructions but mine ended up with a lot of dimples. After adding the bottom glitter, I let it spin for 8 hours then added the second coat of resin. Is there any way I can prevent these dimples from happening? Thank you in advance. I love you cup.

      That is called a cup turner. Epoxy is self leveling, so if you don’t have one you have to constantly spin the cup so that it dries flat and glass-like. They are very easy to make and very inexpensive to purchase. They are a lifesaver!

    • @monnersmarket
      @monnersmarket  2 года назад

      I sure can! You will need a turner. Epoxy is self leveling so I needs to spin constantly while it’s drying. You will need some epoxy. It’s usually a 1 to 1 mixture of part A and B. Make sure you mix it very well before applying to your tumbler. ALWAYS wear gloves when using epoxy and make sure you are in a well ventilated place. I will come back in a moment and add some step by step videos.

    I want to start making these so bad. But idk if all the material used are toxic for the people.

    • @monnersmarket
      @monnersmarket  Год назад +2

      It can be toxic if you’re not careful. You always need to use gloves and always be in a very ventilated area. A lot of people choose to use a mask when using resin. It is a personal preference. But definitely always take safety precautions. But it is very simple and, very satisfying when you create something that you love.
