- A full length full flight video in real time with British Airways, from Leeds Bradford to London Heathrow, onboard Airbus A319 G-EUOF operating flight BA1341 on September 30 2016.
*Every moment of the flight included from airport to airport. ATC for entire flight.*
Our journey begins outside Leeds Bradford airport on a chilly autumn morning. We walk into the airport and terminal, heading through security to airside on this busy morning.
We are soon called for boarding through gate 8, and board our ride down to London today, Airbus A319 G-EUOF. As we board the aircraft the captain is talking to ATC about our departure and asking if we can get an early turn due to the weather to the west of the airport today.
We take our seat in seat 2A, near to the front of this small aircraft. Before long we get our clearance to pushback, start our engines and taxi to runway 32. We enjoy a powerful buzzsaw departure from the bumpy runway at Leeds. We make a left turn towards Manchester, enjoying some great views of northern England on this beautiful morning. Our cruising altitude is a rather sedate 19,000ft today, FL190. We are served a snack and coffee on the short flight as we cruise overhead Stoke on Trent and Birmingham. The news soon comes that as expected we wil have to hold at Bovingdon before commencing our approach, the first officer giving us a great description of our progress and route.
We enter the hold at Bovingdon and are soon cleared to continue our approach under the control of Heathrow Director. We get a great view over east London and London City Airport on this clear morning as we commence our approach to runway 27L at Heathrow. We get a very late landing clearance into Heathrow, just a few seconds before crossing the threshold over Myrtle Avenue. After a smooth touchdown our short flight is over and we taxi to Terminal 5. As we disembark the aircraft we follow celebrity chef Ken Hom through the terminal as we make our way throught the terminal. We head straight for the London Underground station at Terminal 5 for our short ride into central London.

This is outstanding. Thanks for this. I always love the BA videos and this one is top-notch, considerably enhanced by being forward of the engines and the ATC. Great job!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :). I have the return journey on BA on the way soon, and filming a couple more BA flights next week :)
Brings home the faster by air marketing we get bombarded by. Getting to Leeds/Bradford (ages), checking in, security, hanging about airside and on aircraft, swift once airborne, the miles to walk at LHR, rail to London, then get to destination there if London the destination. Makes you wonder how swift this really is unless transiting onto an international flight at LHR
hoof2001 Exactly. Can understand if you plan on staying in London for a couple of days, but for business trips that last a day or even just a day trip I’d much rather get the train.
And heaven help you if you get put in the stack! Great video but lets stop flying domestically where there is a 3 hour or less train journey.
Big time nostalgia for me , I worked on the first international terminal, in the old building I sat next to Shirley Eaton (the Bond Girl painted gold in Goldfinger ) she was with Lance Percival actor and comedian. Thank you so much for posting this video.
Some great views on take off, we used to live in Eldwick not too far away, flown over my old house lots of times. We also used to walk round Yeadon Tarn and watch the planes while doing so.
At last! Someone has shown the way into Leeds/Bradford Airport and shared the passenger experience inward all the way to the aircraft as well as the flight itself; so pleased. Thanks.
Thanks Britt, glad you enjoyed it :) Try to show all of the airport these days as it gives a better view of the experience :) Good to hear from you!
Your videos are so calming
Great video, nice wing view. Love your dedication in creating quality content for all of us!
Thank you as always! Glad yo enjoyed it :)

We can tell that this aircraft is not new only with the tv 😂 Good video

Thank you, thanks for watching :)
Re-watching this some 6 years later and still loving the content! @@noelphilips
Fantastic video most enjoyable to watch any chance you could do a video from Heathrow to Cape Town many thanks
thanks noal heathrow busy as usual, late landing clearances are cool,
Thank you Alan, yep always a last minute affair at LHR :) The departure back home was even better, the taxi at LHR was longer than the flight itself :)
Good for connecting flights, but the london X train service is just as fast heading into/ out of central london and a more relaxing experience.
Hi Noel, who do you contact in airlines to obtain camera permission? KLM told me I had to ask the crew but if I am filming getting on then that isn't possible. Your advice would be much appreciated - I am a big fan of yours and am flying from LBA soon and want to document it!
Great scenes . Thank you .
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Congrats on 20k !
Thank you! Thanks for watching :)
I enjoyed the video a lot mate. Just a question: how did you get the ATC recordings?
Thank you! The ATC on this one was largely from GlobalTuners, with some of the onboard ATC from an authorized onboard radio.
Cheers & thank you.
Nice short hop. I still find it amazing that BA even bother with these domestic flights, and LHR-MAN. I know they are popular, but for me, its more hassle than just taking a train or a bus. So from my perspective, thank you very much for posting this video, as I will probably never fly this route lol.
Yep it's certainly a toss up between the plane and the train, if I wanted practicality I'd probably take the train straight into central London as it's quicker but of course I'd do anything to get on a plane :). I think a large percentage of pax are connecting which makes a little more sense, you can fly long haul from your local with a connection in LHR and not have to drive the 3.5 hours to LHR.
Yeah, all of what you said makes sense. Though when I'm in Bristol, Bristol airport is useless , unless you want a package holiday deal lol or a cheap flight to europe. If flying ex DUB its good , just take a 10 pound hop on ryanair over from BRS for cheap fares.
Yep I do the same, either from DUB (easiest) or from ARN/OSL/CPH (cheapest but the long way round :))
Well for me when I go to London flying often turns out cheaper and if we wan;t to fly from LHR then taking the train is too much hassle
Yep it is cheaper than the train and got me home earlier than the train would have :)
Awesome as always.
Thank you, appreciate your support :)
What do you do when you're not flying? Thanks for posting. An interesting experience.
+Phil O'Shaughnessy I'm an IT consultant and dad by day :) Glad you enjoyed the video :)
She was trying to sneak one in there with the CB's (Cumulonimbus) to the West, can we go off 14. Nah, you're backtracking off 32 like everyone else LOL. Great coverage. Sub'd ya
+X Planer Haha yep sometimes you have to be cheeky :D
Very Nice Video!!! Cool
Thank you man thanks for watching :)
:)
inflight Video you have to be like the only channel to do 100% full flights cuz u have channels where they say it is a full flight but it is only like 25% of the flights. But I love this channel u rock
Thank you :)
Thank you for watching :)
I was at Myrtle avenue as your aircraft flew over.
Awesome! Can you see yourself on the video?
Did I hear right. Did they stick you in one of their famous holding patterns? They must have some excellent controllers there. I'v heard they have as many as 4 holding patterns at once.
Yep we had a 10 minute hold at Bovingdon. They have holding patterns also at Ockham, Lambourne and Biggin, all around the outskirts of London. You usually get stacked on arrival into LHR, only a couple of times I've flown in and not gone into a hold.
I thought you'd be uploading the KLM flight from Amsterdam to Birmingham next.
I considered it but it's entirely a night flight with not a lot to see, but a lot of cabin footage, so I figured I'd show you guys some other material first. Hopefully releasing AMS-BHX in a few weeks :)
Привет мне очень понравилась Поздравляю у тебя 20000 подписчиков

and Coner should be spelled with two n's....
I go to the college in that building you see across the field near the wingtip at 11:37 and also at 42:30
Awesome! Great to be so close to the airport :)
Yup, It is the www.theaviationacademy.co.uk/
Leeds to London!! You might as well just drive.
Haha especially as I live in Nottingham :D But then I wouldn't have had this full flight video :)
Depends, it can be useful if you have a connecting flight
The last time I drove to London from Bradford, I was queueing for over an hour to get onto the M62 from the M606.
Or by Train if u want to be at the London City center
Worth it if you've got a connecting flight of course.
How could you hear ATC?
This was done via GlobalTuners after the flight and from an authorised onboard radio.
how did you get atc recording after your flight?
Richard Wang LiveATC on google
Infinite Flight Aviation Greg nope, liveatc does not cover uk stations, the only way to get atc in the uk is through airband scanners
Hi, ATC was a combination of GlobalTuners (LBA and LHR) and an authorized onboard radio for the rest.
wait you were aloud to listen and record the atc on board?
Radios are permitted onboard the aircraft these days as are recorders. I ask the crew as a courtesy if it's ok to listen to a radio and the answer is almost always yes.
You were lucky your aircraft was on 1 of the 2 bridges at leeds
Yep it's the first time that's happened for me at Leeds. I believe BA usually get the jet bridge :)
was the chef ramsey?
It was Ken Hom :)
Qual é o nome deste jogo?
FSX 'Vida Real' edição
Advise that man to not talk loudly about Antibiotics on a flight, the air is circulated around the cabin erghh!!
Conor is on my s--- list....
