I think we shouldn’t fear the realisations we have about ourselves but through seeing so much of my character in you I am appreciating how special it is that we have the ability to not settle and to be curious and understand what is really going on inside !!!

I actually really like when you delve deeper into this stuff. I too felt like I had confidence, but this video really hit close to home. It just makes you realize that you are constantly changing for people, worrying about their opinions of you and at some point you feel like you don’t even know yourself anymore. "I feel behind in my life." - I really felt it when you said that because I am also in this state in my life where I changed how I view my future and my life in general. People always said that I am mature for my age and that mainly for my behavior but also because I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Now that changed and I feel lost. Luckily I have a youtube channel and I will use that feeling to create new videos and hopefully help someone like you do. Thank you for all your inspiration.
for me, i am a senior in highschool, it is the idea that everything is coming to an end and it is time to grow up. you have given so much motivation to get myself together and try and grow and learn from who i was into the person i want to be. i don’t want to hate who i used to be, but love her for who she has made me now. your videos have so much wisdom and i love it❤

I literally am feeling the same way as u lately in my junior year. Trying to fingure out who's the real me, what I want and one more thing to add up I also learned the nature of diff people. Not everyone will genuinely want to be with u, some will just be for the sake or would just ditch u. Having a hard time lately to make or find true friends. And talking about studies, I just feel like I don't know anything and for the sake of an image I am trying to study. So just on the path of realization and trying new things out and figuring out what I really want. Really a big thank to u for this video. It made me feel that I am not alone feeling this way. And even I am a youtuber so the figuring out the real me part is really very relatable.

Honestly, I think I can connect to this video a lot. I also "consider" myself a disciplined person, I enjoyed waking up at 3 or 4 in the morning and having the pleasure to say that: "I woke up early and studied!" I also lived a life full of other people's comments. I have a bunch of very excellent friends and I always created an impression that I am actually "good". Whenever I don't get a good grade or maybe I didn't get a good score for extracurricular tests etc, I would just lie and not present my true self. From this video, I knew that I also had this artificial confidence in myself. I often care about others too much and compare. I had this ill-mindset which is I have to beat everyone I know. This kinda fake impression has bothered me so much. Currently I'm working on high school application which is extremely hard a stressful, I wish after I finish I can dive deep into my true self, explore it and try to accept it!

Ugh Annie you have such a way with words!! Ever since covid I fell off my academics and I went from straight A’s to wondering if I was going to pass classes. I got down to the root of the problem in therapy and I’m slowly working on building that healthy relationship with myself while also finding time to raise my grades and prep for the SAT. Hey Annie, I just wanted to say, I love how well thought and spoken all of your content is, but I just wanted to remind you to not stress as much about your past and current achievements in life, you are only in junior year and don’t have to forgive yourself for things you did or didn’t do when you were a literal child!! I know it’s hard to realize when you’re still so young, but everything in life will still come together and things you did when you were so young often don’t even matter in a few years ! It's been only 2 months and I feel so overwhelmed. In Mexico, the scholar system is different, but it's good that high perfomance students realize what we're doing actually, sometimes we forget to think about our actions and it seems that we do, but we don't. Personally, I realize that I wasn't happy with having perfect grades, that it was affecting my life, my mental health and my relationships, now I do have good grades, but I care more about living, and not studying or working. In Mexico, you have to work hard 24/7 if you want to live a normal life, but a phrase that my dad says is: "I work for living, not living for work". My point of view is different as a mexican, but I hope it works :)

i switched school in the being of the year to a private school, and im so stressed because i don't know what they're learning and we get periodics everyday. I literally hate the fact that i was forced out of my old school by my parents because this school has "good education".
I don’t know if you practice the Sabbath but I’ve been learning about it recently and how important it is to rest as a Christian. There’s a book I had to read for one of my college classes called “Subversive Sabbath” by A.J Swoboda and he just explains the importance of rest, highly suggest :)

You're one of my biggest inspirations and I feel you at some point. I recently moved out from yo go to high school, I'm doing International Baqaluarate and I didn't expect it to be so damn hard. It's been only 2 months and I feel so overwhelmed.

In Mexico, the scholar system is different, but it's good that high perfomance students realize what we're doing actually, sometimes we forget to think about our actions and it seems that we do, but we don't. Personally, I realize that I wasn't happy with having perfect grades, that it was affecting my life, my mental health and my relationships, now I do have good grades, but I care more about living, and not studying or working. In Mexico, you have to work hard 24/7 if you want to live a normal life, but a phrase that my dad says is: "I work for living, not living for work". My point of view is different as a mexican, but I hope it works :)

i switched school in the being of the year to a private school, and im so stressed because i don't know what they're learning and we get periodics everyday. I literally hate the fact that i was forced out of my old school by my parents because this school has "good education".

I don’t know if you practice the Sabbath but I’ve been learning about it recently and how important it is to rest as a Christian. There’s a book I had to read for one of my college classes called “Subversive Sabbath” by A.J Swoboda and he just explains the importance of rest, highly suggest :)

@Venom Pink the faith that we have is that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is sitting at the right hand of God. you may not agree, but that is our faith therefore we believe He is alive and He is our Lord
@Venom Pink the Bible tells us He did and there are hundreds of historical eye witness accounts of people who saw Him after His crucifixion + I see the miracles He does in my life in His name so i believe that He rose from the dead
@Venom Pink i have seen how God transformed me and others and how He works on our lives, you may not believe it and that is your choice. i dont want to argue about the Gospel, annie and i both believe it and I wanted to show my support of her growth in God. we believe historical texts all the time, and the Bible is actually supported by archaeological evidence as well as scientific evidence . again i do not want to argue about the gospel, people are free to do their own research (i recommend the yt channel living waters) i will no longer reply for the sake of peace but yeah we can choose what to put our faith in and i happen to choose Jesus
