Updates To New Castle Since The Launch Of this Video: Season 19: Recovery time on landing was reduced and max leap height was increased for the ultimate. Season 18: None Season 17: No Legend changes, although some support class perks were buffed. Season 16: No Legend changes, he is now a support legend though. Meaning he can open blue loot pills and craft expired teammate cards. Season 15: None Season 14: *Retrieve the Wounded:* Increased move speed during revive by 25%. Reduced turn slow while reviving by 50%. Increased White Knockdown shield health from 150 -> 200. Increase Blue Knockdown shield health from 250 -> 300. *Mobile Shield:* Increased hp from 350 -> 500 Doubled max movement speed. *Castle Wall:* Added turn slow to electrical barrier effects and increased the severity of the slow effect to movement.
Another cool tip. If an enemy is healing behind a door. Castle wall the door, blowing it to pieces, sending the person flying back then immediately dismantle the middle section of the castle wall (down on the d-pad) and push into the room guns blazing. People don’t expect that 👍

Gotta say my proudest moment with Newcastle was my preemptive tactical shield throw to my teammate who was running ahead to loot death boxes, which stopped a Kraber shot within the second it deployed.
I don't know if this is anything impressive for a Newcastle main but, my most proudest moment was reviving 8 times in a single game with a gold knockdown
I have learned also that his ultimate can be used as a wrecking ball for other players ultimates. It will break a ramparts barriers, a horizon black hole (only at close range meaning the first leap).
When u throw the drone before the shield deploys it does 20 damage to ur opponent if the drone hit them also u can use ur Newcastle ultimate to destroy other Newcastle ultimate
One thing I've been seeing is that Ash tactical's can snare you to the point that if you try to ult out of there, you will be frozen midair and an easy target. Pretty sure you lose your ult charge too
I’ve also seen videos of people using his ult to go ridiculous ranges by locking on to a teammates deathbox. It’s definitely a bug but something people can do for fun rn

A tip for you and the people I did this last night when there was a bloodhound I came up behind him after dropping their lifeline and I threw the shield in front of them and it stopped him from being able to shoot my teammate in front of them and my teammate was able to run off and I hit him took him down so you can actually if you somehow or behind the enemy or get yourself behind the enemy can throw the shield in front of them to stop them from shooting your teammates so that mobile shield can actually be used like that too.

@@TimProVision Oh definitely do, trying to work on my timing of his Ult, but the Mobile Shield has no right to be as versatile as it is. Managed to defend from surprise Grenades several times and it helps secure squadmates from being knocked. Overall, with my limited experience, he's like a more fun version of Gibby.
I don't really have one legend I play. Mostly because I am always making content on the various legends. If I had to choose, I'd still be picking up my boy pathy!
Yo Tim or anyone helpppp! I am a new apex player as of a few days. New Ps5... Apex is giving me a warning saying my ps5 is too hot and shuts my ps5 down. Any ways to fix this? Its an Apex only bug. My ps5 was on 5 mins after I re installed and it did it again today

Remember, when using shield heals, he's charging his Evo shield, not the one on his back.
And that he loves phase runners because his knees are killing him

Found that thermites… are real good to carry for Newcastle. Throw one down to cut off a corridor / door way then start a rez. Works great 👍

You keep about 75%, but yeah, watch out for those ash tacticals

My favorite counter is using horizon ult right after newcastles ult because you know he’s gonna be stuck right there

When you use Valkyries ultimate behind the shield turn sideways
Been using new castle since this new season started and I love placing my ult in enemies faces cuz they immediately question there existence and dip tf out.
You can throw it slightly further by moving forward while throwing the shield
you can silent res if you drop ur knockdown before starting the res

You can also head shot with throwing the drone too do 40 Ive accidentally killed someone with it
If ur knockdown shield is broken or depleted after reviving a teammate drop it and pick it back up and it will be fully charged

When you use his ultimate on a enemy it knocks them back about 10meters so it can be really good for pushing if coordinated.

You can use it to block doors! Basically the same way Gibraltar can, with proper placement its impossible to break door with melee
