- Fairy the greyhound is getting fed up of the non stop rain we’ve had for the last few weeks. All the roads and fields are flooded. Fairy has to walk through flood water and jump flooded ditches on her walk. We show you the best waterproof dog coat to keep your dog dry and cosy.

What a beautiful dog you have. My mom has had two rescue Greyhounds. She is on her 3 r rescue Greyhound. The first two were black in color and were retired racing dogs. Joey Meatball is a Brindle. He is fun,playful, picky with dog food but great with human food. Loves steak, chicken, cheese, ice cream, ranch dressing, he will eat Dr. Pol’s kibble but after a while he wants chicken soup over the top. If my mom has cooked chicken and rice he will be happy to have a bowl of that. My mom rarely says no to Joey Meatball. He is the king of the castle.

It's even been raining lots here in South Australia, very unusual for this time of year. As its quite warm it's quite humid, ugh! You need some Wellington boots then walks wouldn't be a problem.

I used to live in Seattle. One winter it rained for 40 days & 40 nights. Yeah. I didn't have a dog back then, tho. I'm sure he wouldn't have been happy about it. 😅😅❤❤❤
Raining here in Australia too, flooding as well in our summer. My little Jack Russell cross won’t go out like Fairy does, her legs are too short and so are my boots. I do love Fairy’s coats. Rabbits, good fun.
Oh blimey....... I hope there is no more rain for a while. Little puddles are fun, but this is unreal. I know you are very careful, and take good care of Fairy :-)

My Greyhound, Carrie likes to swim in the summer, but doesn't like to be rained on. We are quite waterlogged here in Michigan, but nothing like what you are dealing with. Hope we can all dry out soon. Thanks for sharing.

Gosh . Please be safe. She's so cute in her rain gear. Oh no. A rabbit! Her ears go to attention! Always a pleasure.
My two greys wouldn't go out if it was raining. This is despite the fact they both had excellent coats. If it rained unexpectedly when they were out you could tell they were both annoyed with me for getting them wet.

Goodness! Y'all need hip-waders! We're rather soggy here, too, but not that bad. Snowing/ sleeting ATM. (Sigh - don't want to shovel any more snow, but we NEED it.)

Perhaps you need knee boots or hip waders, or a kayak (are there dog-friendly ones?). Sorry you are getting so much rain in the UK, hope it stops soon! Fairy is looking quite wistful: "Can't take our walks, not allowed to chase rabbits, good thing I have a cozy bed & a big chew bone back home!" You said she was a racer---was she successful at that? I ask b/c of her high prey drive---my grey was a racer, won a lot of her races (brag, brag!), never really tested her prey drive too much, more of a foodie maybe! She loved to run, I got to see her winning on video until they shut the track down, no more online videos. She made her own racetrack around the outside of the house. Such fun to watch Fairy snuggling into her bed w/ a favorite toy.
She did 12 races. Only won one race I think and a few placings. But does have a high prey drive!
