I like how Joel's voice slips into Caboose's
Roma TM wait is there a difference ? Lol
i guess the Caboose voice is a bit more careless sounding? like if you were mocking someone
ShadowLegends think of the SpongeBob meme I guess
Clout Kamui i hear mostly Oobleck
Caboose's voice has a different timbre (it sounds sort of forced), and he tends to speak in straight, disconnected notes (as opposed to notes that slide up or down, and join up).
God damn, yelling Joel really brings out his Caboose voice.
Forget acting, Joel should have been a stand-up comedian.
btw great editing Hembro! Thanks for siffting through hours of footage to find these golden nugs.
CuRSe730 the end of the animation has the source title at the end, right?
@@telexghoulie Yep, but Hembo still has to go through every source to find the exact moment the RTAA is from.
“You’re flowers! You bloom!” The most eloquent way to phrase that point ever.
"If you're a dude you get to live long enough to get prostate cancer." Thanks for kind words Joel.
I'm so glad they made this an RTAA. It was such a fun story, and I was happy they included Joeal in that episode of the podcast
no his name is joauel
Fun as in interesting
Zerod The 2nd 'fun'?
Actually his name is Juaueal
Well we are not getting that anymore
"Did I ever tell you about my anal fissure?" - Blaine Gibson, 2017

Cherry Chocolate hope I'm not the only one who got that
Cherry Chocolate 10:30

2:49 Stay strong Blaine, we'll get through the pain together.
Bill Stone I was exactly the same

Matrix.
I'm dying.
Taking the pill and waking up to Joel's life.
My sides.
You see, this is why Joel is good at playing Caboose. He gets way into it
The origin of one of the best Joel moments of all time hands down
nothing can beat the double gold podcast
Oh hi friendo fancy seeing you here
Oh.....God.....I don't want to deal with that..
Super Saiyan 3 aka Red Zeds Dont hold a pee in too long. Or will develope kidney stones.
I hold pee's in at work for 5 hours at a time, I guess I'm screwed lol.
Zeek Xekri is there no bathroom where you work?
Haha sucks for you guys
But then again we do go through alot of nasty and horrible shit too
I'm 18 so I hope technology gets better by the time I need that.
Alex Pollock tell me about it.
19 here, im really scared for the future 😂😂😂
OMG I need to see Joel and the guy from the Adam ruins everything show argue. Don't give a shit about what, just have an argument.
JollyJoker23 if theres ever another season of Joel's show on Go90 he might be a guest, they had people from truTV.
JollyJoker23 Adam Conover V Joel of rooster teeth
"You dont stick a stick inside another stick" "thats against nature" well. Its fun to do that
A stick... inside another stick making the outer stick stretch....yup sounds fun XD
That sound bite needs to end up in RvB
Gross
Goddamn I love Joel rants so much!
God, I love Joel. Hearing him tell stories is just a treat.
OK... this is the first time I'm going to say this... THAT WAS FUCKING FAST WORK...
Wait... I had a kidney stone when I was 17, but I don't remember EVER passing the thing... Everyone said that, "You'll KNOW when you've passed it." .............But it's been 2 years, and I never "knew" if I passed it.
But when it did, I was suppose to go back and do THIS shit? Did I hear that right?
................................................................................................................................................That kidney stone can make itself at home then. Name it "Cleetus."
I love hearing broadcast laugh in the background XD
8:00 "why do they keep asking questions" XDD
Joel is awesome. I'll be honest, when I took first responder classes, I remember them saying to try and distract our patients to make things easier (such as putting a dislocation back). But I do agree with Joel that it is lying (even if it is for the greater good).
If at any point in my life I must pass a kidney stone, pass me a gun.
Vicious Zero drink lots of water
seriously, drink all the water
Vicious Zero LIKE SERIOUSLY BRO DRINK LOTS OF FUCKING WATER!!!
I have a cup of water with me as I read this, thanks for the heads up guys.
I'm only 17 and I've had 2 kidney stones, the first one was the easy one, huge pain in the right side for a few hours and that was it, the second one was the 2nd biggest pain I've ever experienced, signs started days before the initial side pain, started with testicle pain, stopped for a couple days, testicle pain again and a lot of pain in my right side again, thing is 2nd one was so big it wasn't able to pass on it's own, thought the procedure was gonna get rid of the pain, oh boy how I was wrong, the first couple days after the procedure the pain was much worse than the stones to the point I threw up a couple times just from the pain from peeing
All I can think about how girls have to do Pap smears, where they literally scrape the inner walls of the vagina. Ladies have to get it regularly, I hear it's really painful for a lot of women. Some I know couldn't move for a few days, then there's pain after that. Maybe the medical industry should try more to make the uncomfortable and painful procedures less...well terrible for the patient.
Jayde Chapman why are we not funding this
Jayde Chapman Not to mention the regular examination itself can be scary and painful, I mean, Joel's got a point - things... Do... Stretch down there, but... Not always errrr willingly xD (instinctively 'tightening up' to try prevent entry) Also the insertion / removal of an IUD [intrauterine device] without any painkillers? -10/10 can't recommend.
Ok this is a few months old but i wanna chime in. It’s not the Paps that hurt, theres no scraping involved, only swabbing. The pain women experience when having paps is a condition called vaginismus- muscle spams when something is inserted into the vagina, in this case it would be the speculum that’s used to keep the vagina/vulva open.
But that pain is totally different from having a tube stuck up your urethra- which is both uncomfortable for men and women.
The more you knoooow.
@@saramations 100% correct, it can be a bit sore after but it's not painful so to say
YIKES! I guess everyone has their own genital problems.
I love how he turns into Dr. Oobleck when he's talking
As soon as I saw the rtaa I couldn't wait to see Joel freaking out
When they pull it out it's like they're starting a lawn mower. They grip it and rip it. The friction and suction are traumatic.
My biology teacher gave us the same "fun fact" about prostate cancer years ago. Same silence.
Wow got on yt to look at the office bloopers and saw this up. Sweet
Batyranny wait seriously? I did the exact same thing... I've been watching random The Office vids for the past hour
Yeah. Sucks that NBC (I think) took down all the og blooper vids just to upload their own gag reels. Now im gonna have to wait like weeks before they finally get them all uploaded. And why did they start on season 2 lol.
When I was 16, I had an Ingrown toenail in my big toe and I made the mistake of watch the doctor cut and claw into a HEAVILY SWOLLEN TOE and it is one of the most painful experiences of my life, worse than when I broke my ankle.
Caretaker Studios Aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhh Imagery!
Bro you never go to the doctor you fucking rip that shit off before you do that
wvlfAce I know I’m late but this procedure is used to get rid of ingrowns for life. Normally they numb the toe before they cut.
I had to do something like that when I was 9 years old due to a bladder infection. I've always taken care of myself down there ever since
Ahhh Joel… the only man willing to tell people they will get cancer
Joel’s medical stories during this podcast still haunts me to this day.
I've been waiting all day for this
7:08 well shit
I know exactly what Joel was talking about. When I was 15, I had to have a similar experience as I had a kidney stone that had to be removed manually. They put a stent in me during the procedure that thankfully I was knocked out for. But...it had to come out eventually.
It hurts so much to listen to this..... so god damn much
"YOU DONT STICK A STICK IN A STICK" okay Joel. Thanks for the clarification.
im scared to get old
You will Be missed mai dood
why did he get fired?
damn how many of the original guys are left?
@@bayarea4153 conflicts in political views, Joel was too eccetric for them and he stopped coming basically but that's mainly because he knew he was being laid off since they had him record his RvB lines beforehand.
@@bayarea4153 that blonde guy left, then Joel was fired, and recently Bernie sold off the company and fled somewhere with his family since corona, its only Geoff and gus now
mR. iNSANITY who the blonde guy? What about Gavin and Michael or Ryan they still around for pod casts and videos and shit or nah?
This is called "sounding", and there'sa recognised fetish for it. Just let that sink in (pun definitely intended).
I'm into some strange crap, but that just creeps me out.
If anyone’s seen Fullmetal Alchemist, which do you think is worse, this or the scene where Ed transmutes a wound closed
Joel is the best storyteller ever
6:50
You have to say it Joel ????!!!!!! Noooooooooooou D; D: D;
Joel explaining a story is one of the best things to listen to
I love that this implies women don’t have urethras lmao the stick/flower bit was so good lol
The caboose is strong with this one
I love how you can tell what Joel is saying in the Thumbnail
“You fuckers are flowers!”😂😂😂
I can relate to this. I’ve just had my 10th kidney stone (I get them hereditary) and I’ve had them go in and pull a stent out of my wobbly bits and it’s not fun at all
This was such a memorable podcast and hilarious rant that you knew 110% this was gonna be an RTAA, Hembo must've been waiting to pounce on this for weeks lol
I love his voice so much
God i can not wait till i live long enough to feel pain mm yeah so pumped mmm yeesss uh huh mhmm ah hah huehue i am SO PYNPEBF ALAAAAAAAH
I love Joel’s voice in this story
I’ve decided that I’m just gonna get my prostate removed in the future.
Can’t get cancer if it’s not there!
rtaa's make joel look slightly more insane
Ive never skweemed and laughed so much in my life at one moment
“How do they stretch out the pee-hole???”
Good work as usual
I don't think Joel knows how small the cervix is
Jesse AAA or knows that literally everyone has urethras. or knows the difference between a urethra and a vagina. or knows that women get kidney stones as well
There's actually research that shows if the end of the procedure is more pleasant, people's perception of the procedure is more positive.
I Love Joel xD so quick question fellow bros who's down for turning into cyborgs so we don't have to go thru this?
enoch134 Bro sign me the fuck up for that shit
Can confirm, kidney stones hurt like hell’s vision of hell.
With this kind of thing, it seems like it would be best just to knock the patient out
I don’t know how it went with Joel’s visit, but when I got my bladder scoped, they gave me the option between being awake or being put to sleep for it. I just chose to stay awake because there was a lot of other variables that came with being put to sleep for it. The whole procedure lasted for maybe five or six minutes. I wouldn’t say it was unbearably painful. There were probably two or three instances where it hurt really bad for a couple seconds, but for the most part I would say that I’ve honestly felt worse pain in my life. It definitely wasn’t an enjoyable experience, but I personally didn’t think it was ungodly awful either
They stick a tube in the urethra to test whether or not you have a kidney reflux. And a large portion of the women in my family have either bilateral kidney reflux or just on the right side. Shit hurts! Regardless of how out of it you are, that shit is imprinted in you memory. So a few women feel your pain Joel.
BlockingTheSunOut
Women say "Let's have another baby." They don't say "I want another kidney stone."
As a guy who gets off to sounding, it isn't that bad.
I have to get a very similar process done tomorrow. Goodness me, I hope they have the pill
I, as a man have never been in more non existent pain as I was while watching this
Yes hembo!!!! I love you
So... This is the video to send to a woman when they say "giving birth hurts", right ?
Well, obviously he's exaggerating his pain. Childbirth is not just way more excruciating, but it lasts way longer than a routine scoping. Let's say the scoping takes an hour. An hour of sweating, clenching pain. Compare that to a woman giving birth. For a first time mother, labor can last from a few hours to more than 24 hours. Labor is intense contractions going from mildly painful to excruciatingly painful. Contractions are the body's way of positioning a baby to exit through the birth canal. Some women try to give birth without painkillers, but most of those can't take the pain and get the injections (which are given through the spine). Joel's experience isn't pretty, but if scoping is more painful than child birth, then he would have been sedated.
barbaro267 congrats
Women go through less deformation relative to a man passing a 1/4" kidney stone
And are BUILT for it
barbaro267 not really I heavy sister who gave birth to her first baby she said it wasn't as painful as she thought it would have been.
Izzy41630 you don't die from the pain when giving child birth, you die from one of many other issues
They can also go thru 24-72 hours of pain
This wacky and funny RTAA got more real than expected around 6:50
I would honestly need anesthetics for that shit
He went full caboose like 30 times in this video
Even when he isn't recording, all I hear is Caboose, even I see Joel XD
He could have gone to the drug store and picked up AZO. That shit works wonders. I get UTIs ALL THE FUCKING TIME and these little orange pills are miracles.
That guy sense when you feel the pain when they talk about it
The amount of times I winced during this video is so high
As a female I enjoyed watching this.
What procedure is this and can I avoid ever having it
Getting rid of a kidney stone i believe. It's been a looooong time since i listened to that episode.
Basically don’t be a man
It'll get better when we get to the fracking stage 😂
* *JOEL VISION* *
I have those on a regular basis... I keep oxycodone from previous surgeries in case I have to go thru it, always pop 2 before hand, lol. I was supposed to have one today actually... but insurance problems means I have to wait till February... they suck... they really do. I can't believe it's a fetish to some people.
I had kidney stones at the ripe old age of 12 or 13. YAY!!!
You don't stick a stick inside another stick! That's not where sticks are supposed to go!
this was about the only thing iv ever listened to in which the description made me physically feel sick.
O dear God the phantom pains
You know he looks great for his age.
1:50 I'm hearing a bit of caboose there :)
I'm both grateful and pissed at Joel. On the one hand, I know what to expect when I get old. On the other one, *I DON'T WANT TO DO IT*!
wait he's back in roosterteeth? :o
Cleo Tan he hasnt left
3:19 XD MY FAV PART!!!
Joes has no clue how childbirth works rofl
Hembo you are a god
For your health's sake, you gotta get it done. Just man up and try not too cry.
Love me some Joel
joel's going full Caboose
3:47 well there's truth to this, plenty of women who have given birth and have had kidney stones say the stones were worse than labor
This is the first time I heard caboose swear..
In which Caboose explain bladder scoping and male and female anatomy
How has RT not hired you to produce these for them?
