I love it when people use affinity my wife uses photoshop and I honestly prefer affinity in most cases and the fact they don't charge a subscription is just insane, what kind of camera and lens are you using that pic is super sharp
I would ABSOLUTELY lovee if you made more affinity photo editing vids. I dont use photoshop at all, strictly affinity photo for ipad. (Love the inpainting tool and how it automates freq sep). Already I learned something new with this video with the recolor adj layer. I think this software is awsome. Keep it up
Hey, Thanks for the videos. I have a question. I remember years ago there was a retoucher that would also add blur to a white painted layer for the highlights to give it more of a "glow". is that still a good idea? Love your channel and thanks for the videos.
I’m not really sure as I haven’t heard of this technique before! But I’d say it sounds a bit more stylistic to me? So it could be just purely dependent on what you want to achieve with your photo and how you want it to look. ☺️
Really great to see this whole retouch - really beautiful. I have a question, I noticed you didn't use frequency seperation, which I see people using quite often on this kind of video. I'd love to know the thinking behind that. Thanks for creating and sharing this video!
actually, also I've been using the impainting tool for the same kind of things you were using the healing brush for ... would love to know why you prefer the healing brush.
IMO Affinity Photo far out shines Adobe Photoshop as an image retoucher. I used Photoshop and Lightroom for years until i dropped them both. I switched to Capture One for color and exposure editing and Affinity Photo for the skin retouching. I have been able to do the same quality of skin retouching in Affinity photo as i can get in photoshop but Affinity Photo tools seem to be more effective and makes my life much easier and faster with skin retouching.
I agree, I really enjoy using Affinity! I honestly think it's such an incredible program for the price, and you can have a similar outcome from using it to retouch your images! 😊
This channel is so underratted
I would love more affinity photo tutorials from you!
I really like affinity photo. It’s a good alternative to photo shop and very cost effective. The iPad version is very good as well.
I agree! It’s such a value for money program, I’ve been loving using it lately! ☺️
ooooo, Kayleigh! I needed this! Especially when I'm retouching on the iPad. Thank you for the video
No worries Ryan! Glad you liked the video 😊
