i know they are a smaller group in comparison to other 4th gen but I'm so glad they are still able to release comebacks for these girls, they deserve it! I'm glad their company is really trying with them
Their company is investing a lot on them! They have (one of) the best kpop tiktok, A LOT of covers, a variety of contents and advertisement/brand deals. They even make reaction videos sometimes! Go and check them out :)
Actually they do have a bit of recognition in Korea. A friends younger sister is in high school in Korea. Her friends were looking forward to Woo!Ah! comeback, but only one of the group had ever heard of Gp999 or kep1er. There are groups that aren't known internationally that are fairly well known in Korea and vice-versa.

The CEO or I think founder of the group is really investing in this GG. I recently found out that Kim Kyu Sang the CEO of this label sold her house and car to make a label or make a girl group.

@@Tanax13 since ive been listening to the song about 200 times since it dropped i started noticing how good sora sounds this comeback, seems like shes gained some confidence in her vocals and she brings a little more of a husky tone in catch the stars. Wooyeon also sounds more stable and minseo *_* chefs kiss.

The kpop industry these days, people always focus on making songs with weird melody and creating choreography that can be trending. Like, they are trying to make something difference. I totally get it, but they are forgetting that we do need some simple songs like this, which can cheer you up and brighten your day. Really appreciating Wooah for having a comeback like this.
I was saying the same thing another day. Most of the song coming out are boom boom bam I am a boss ass bitch with tik tok dances. Don't get me wrong I enjoy those songs but damn, nothing beats feel good songs like Catch the stars. It's simple but so beautiful. This is the sound that made me a girl group kpop fan
isn't that too far from the 2nd gen era, most choreographies from that era had easy to follow steps and would be trending

I’m so happy WooAh is back and in such a refreshing way. Personally, I love everything they’ve released, because with WooAh you can always feel the passion, from the team (as PD said) and the members themselves. That’s something I’ve realized too, they always give their 100% in every stage with every comeback. That’s why I really like this group.

as a buddy, woo!ah! gives me the same good feeling that gfriend (and fromis9 songs) give me that i've been missing ever since their disbandment. wooah makes feelsgoodmusic! they already have such an established sound + choreography style even across different genres and it's so refreshing. the group might be small but they pack a punch lol!

"Heartfelt" is my favourite genre of kpop song and this song is an amazing example of that. The chorus is a banger.
I really enjoyed this comeback. It was very relaxing and refreshing to just listen to I think it is just the right amount to start off the new year it’s not too loud and it’s not too soft it’s right there in the middle and I think that is the perfect way to go at it at least for me. I think it’s super cute overall and I really like it and I’ve been humming this song ever since this come out it’s just very refreshing and light it’s a very chill song and I like that a lot I can listen to this when I’m cleaning or I can come to this when I’m at work because it’s just so relaxing you can help me pretty much get the day going by like this is one of those songs that I could use to just help me pass the time and just vibe. 🤩

I love how wooah trying new concept like this! Personally I already like wooah as they are (reason I stan them), but this got me excited of what they what can pull off in the future! btw this title track has similar/almost identical vibes as stayc - stereotype and probably weeekly - after school from the emotion side, thats why pd is so emotional on this one..
I've been a wooah fan since last year and this comeback touched my heart most. Just like how Payday catched my attention, Catch The Stars made me feel out of breath because I did not expect this coherence of a song with such emotions. I could see the girls enjoying it so well and they really improved. Glad Sora and Lucy is getting more chances to show off. I love them all though.

such a good release from woo!ah! As always! (Purple only had a weaker chorus but the rest is stellar) For Catch the Stars, I only liked the bridge a little less, it's kind of weirdly put together but that prechorus, that chorus! Although Nana is still a bit to the front, the MV and song also made every members shine and I appreciate it as well
The chorus of Purple was weaker but so damn catchy, Wooah keeps coming back the catchiest songs

The girls are really talented and hard workers, the musics are bop, even the company is great: really care about the girls, making a lot of content, decent mid-low budget promotions.
I accidentally found "I Don't Miss You" MV and have been obsessed. I have been playing their whole discography on repeat since last year, they only have 8 songs (now 9 with this release), and still haven't bored yet.
I still don't understand why the girls aren't making it big yet. THEY DESERVE THE WHOLE KPOP INDUSTRY ON THEM. Maybe the only thing that woo!ah! lack is just a luck, one viral moment that make them get the public attention.

gotta say 2022 starts off really well.
The only song I couldn't have any feels for before was their debut song, but so far even with their B-sides, everything has been BOMB!!! They're not that widely known yet, but their music is of real good quality. Their visuals are also refreshing and don't look unrealistic. They look like normal beautiful girls enjoying themselves with the songs they sing and dance to. In other words, I love this group sm. Please support them ❤️
I said the same thing about Carly Rae! It's very reminiscent if Run Away With Me or the Emotions album in general. I also agree that this is by far my favorite kpop song of the year

Call Me Maybe is so weird. It’s OK song but has nothing to do with her style. It’s THE song that made her famous but her real style is UNBELIEVABLE.

1. I love how PD manage to put words to my impressions of the video, I have been listening to this mv almost non stop since I discovered it two days after its comeback, and the choreography is so cute and powerful I think, their footwork (chef's kiss)
2. The energy PD puts in the reactions is so sincere and, pure I think, that is nice to see that in our social media era.
3. As a friend told me once "you have developed the sharingan that's why you can identify who is whom", and I think most kpop fans have developed it too, yet is kinda hard to tell them apart lol

I agree with the only thing holding them back is money, but honestly they have the talent. I might as well mention is here, member Wooyeon is an ex-SM trainee and Lucy is ex-JYP. If they had the money they would be up there with Itzy and Loona. However, their music videos being a bit on the cheaper side adds to their charm. While I'd love them to have the best sets and cameras I don't want them to lose themselves in the wave of kpop, they're really special and I hope people, especially international kpop fans, keep an ear out for their name!

I've been following woo!ah! since debut and while they haven't had the biggest impression on me compared to some other groups, like say, Purple Kiss... this song... wow, on the first listen, I was blown away! It is easily, not only my favorite woo!ah! song, but probably one of my favorite girl group songs ever!
