Sa te vujtur kemi qene , duhet te jemi bashke per shkak se jemi nje popull i vujtur , jo te shkojme pas politikaneve , , si majtas dhe djathtas.. duhet te te zgjidhet te kete unitetin kombetar . Te rujme gjuhen dhe vendin te mos shitet vendi..mjaft... me keto plera qe erdhem me saliun me meten fatosin.
Je suis un garçon qui habite à Courmayeur Mont-Blanc et je suis albanais. Merci pour ce documentaire si intéressant. Je voudrais vous dire que je suis très fier de ma langue albanaise et de mon peuple, malheureusement la chance ne nous a pas été très favorable mais notre entêtement a permis que nous n'ayons pas perdu notre identité. Grâce à nos ennemis qui ont toujours tenté de nous détruire mais n'y sont jamais parvenus, au contraire ils ont renforcé notre détermination à aller de l'avant....
Mon peuple albanais, où que tu sois, je t'aime pour toujours❤🇦🇱

Probably the worst years Albania had, fighting against the ottomans in 1910, 1911, 1912 and in 1912 attacked by 4 other countries….
That is so true and that was the reason Albanian is the only nation on world wich is surrounded from Albanian outside our borders because in London the big nations decide to give land to the neighboring countries Montenegro north Macedonia Greece Albania was 88.000 square and now it’s 28.000 square . There was a nation before 1912.
Before the Ottoman arrival there was Illyria in the north and Epirus in the south. No more no less!
And the two eagles on the Albanian flag, are a knock off of the two eagles on the Byzantine flag.

3:10 one can see the Greek-Orthodox priests walking. If it wasn't for the conversion of Albanians from Orthodoxy to Islam, the two countries could have been united today...
Why would you assume that the priests are Greek? You have any proof? Or you think only Greeks have priests and no one else? FYI there have been Albanian priests since the Middle Ages and later on. Many Albanian priests were k*lled in different times of the history because they used to teach people to pray in Albanian language. Do you know that??
As for the relations between our countries, we also want peace and harmony. But that depends from you! You have to recognize Albanian minority : Arvanitas and give them their rights and remove the war law between us! Once you do it then it can get better! ✌🏼 cheers 🥂

@@D.H.Alb.24 Hey there. First, why do you assume that my reference to Greek-Orthodox priests implied necessarily an ethic Greek priest? "Greek-Orthodox" refers to the Orthodoxy which follows the original Greek rite and it can of course be any Orthodox ethnicity.
Second, and by far more important. You happen to be talking to a Greek Arvaniti (from both parents), and trust me, I am neither a minority nor anything other than Greek to my last drop of blood. So, please, dont go there, because I can start a whole thing about North Epirus, and the apostasy to Islam and we will end up cursing at each other for days. So, life is short, and it s a small place where we can all live and prosper. Let s recognize that genetically, we are pretty much the same nation and let s build on that, which is a good thing. ARVANITAS dhe GREK jane dy gjera te ndryshme . Jane Arvanitas qe flasin dhe greqisht por gjuha e tyre e NENES eshte Arvanitase qe eshte enjejta gjuhe me gjuhen shqipe dhe kete e dini shume mire .
Por une mendoj se çështja eshte fetare qe ka ndare dhe ka sjelle gjith keto padrejtesira .
Megjithatë po te ishte RESPEKTI per tjetrin per ate qe te respekton te ndihmon ne çështje jetike te ekzistencës tende gjerat do ishin shum me ndryshe .

Duke ditur e bere kaq shume per Greqinë per vendin e tyre ku kishin lindur dhe mos ti lejosh te flasin gjuhen e tyre apo me e rendesishmja mos ti lejosh te quhen ARVANITAS me zakonet e tyre e kulturen e tyre kjo eshte : MOSMIRNJOHJE , PA RRESPEKT , JO DREJTESI ....KRIMINALITET .

What did Albanians 🇦🇱 have before the Ottoman invasion?
1. Albanians had a University in 1380 in Durrës. To give you an idea: Germany opened its first university, 6 years after Durrës (Heidelberg University).
2. Albanians had 6 fully developed cities as much as Florence, Venice, Marseille or Paris. (Durrës, Shkodra, Drishti, Lezha, Berat and Preveza).
3. Albanians had the aristocratic class with 8 noble families (Balshaj, Topiaj, Muzakaj, Kastrioti, Arianiti, Zebenishta, Spataj and Dukagjini) connected by marriage even with the Habsburgs and the Bourbons.
4. Albanians had the humanist philosophers, who with their genius ideas, were advisers to the imperial families in Hungary, Italy and Austria (Gjon Gazhuli, Pal Ungjëlli, Leonik Tomeo and Gjon Durrsaku).
5. Albanian cities had statutes and were governed by democracy while at the same time America for example it was governed by the Cherokee Indians or the Aztec tribes who still drank human blood and lived as cannibals.
6. In Durrës, intellectualism was so high that we have documented in the 12th century for the first time the note of protest of an Orthodox Metropolitan, who writes to Constantinople, against slavery, 300 years before it started as a debate in Europe.
7. In Durrës, trade was done even with Tunisia, Ukraine and France, since the 5th century. While at the same time for example the Scandinavian countries still lived by worshiping the tree or the mountain.
8. The Church of Albania had issued a Cardinal (and a cardinal was no small thing then).
What happened next? The Ottomans just came and for 500 years made that every Albanian forgot who they really were.

Assolutamente no ! Il sonoro nel cinema è comparso "solo" nel 1927 in America,benché il messinese Giovanni Rapazzo avesse già proiettato il primo breve film nel 1913 e migliorato ancora nel 1921. Il sonoro/l'audio in questo filmato è veramente deludente ,scarso e poco attinente alle immagini.

In 20 minutes there is only one man wearing the fustanella, and that was probably a Greek. All the others are wearing the actual albanian clothes and not the fustanella, the traditional greek garment that used to signify the orthodox christian faith. Although Albanian muslims still claim it as their own.

@@D.H.Alb.24It is a stretch to say the Albanians having "ancient traditions" because Albanians are not an ancient people. Their presence to the Balkans is 500 years tops, and and their national self-consciousness is even shorter. Most of their traditions and history are borrowed from their neighbors (mostly Greeks and Serbians), in the course of cultural excange or by the albanian officials when they tried to create an "albanian national identity".
Fustanella is an ancient greek tradition, which is testified by its presence in the decoration of ancient monuments throughout Greece. Even the world for your traditional hat "plis" is greek ("πύλος"), because you borrowed that too.
The Greek civilization is the oldest and richest civilization in Europe, and is recognized as such by the other ancient civilizations, such as the Chinese, Japanese and Persian. All the basic concepts of European culture come from Hellenism. Even Albanians can't say "Idea" ("ideja"), "psychology" ("psikologjisë") and "telephone" ("telefonit") without using greek words. Your welcome.
Too bad the footage of the film and the photos are so underexposed and in such a poor quality. Clearly some of the people are not Albanians but Albanian minorities who used to live in Albania. The boy at 6:26 is not an Albanian blooded boy but an adapted & imported slave boy from Egypt who the single Albanian man bought him to work for him as a house boy.
