What Will Happen? if there is output rectifier, secondary winding, filter, dry soldering or open tracks or disconnected wiring track, the vcc capacitor on smps controller ic's vcc pin will fluctuate, and bulk capacitor or main dc smoothing capacitor will fluctuate, but there will no output at output terminal.

if we have open circuit in feedback network, in that condition the output will fluctuate in above and lower from the rated levels. there will fluctuation on vcc capacitor and bulk capacitor or smoothing capacitor
if we have some component short circuit in secondary side, there will output in some hundred millivolt with fluctuation and vcc capacitor and smoothing capacitor or bulk capacitor will fluctuate
SMPS Output voltage Fluctuation / Switch Mode Power Supply Output Not Regulated. smps output fluctuation term is used when the output voltage of switch mode power supply are not being regulated properly. irregulated amplitude of the output in any smps is called fluctuation
it may be due to many reasons
1. main dc capacitor is internally open circuit
2. vcc capacitor of smps ic is open internally
3. vcc circuit / bias circuit / auxiliary circuit is open circuit
4. output circuit have some short circuit capacitor
5. feedback circuit is not working properly, it may be due to reference circuit, TL431 reference, or optocoupler or its related components

Sir i have 36v 10A supply. I have drawing 7.5A continuously. After 2 - 3 attempts when i turn on the supply, the transistors 13009 Shorts and hence output becomes zero. This problems repeats over and over. Transistor are aslo not heating up because cooling fan is working. So what is the solution and why this failure occurs again and again. Thank you.

محترم ایک چارجر فیوز بار بار اڑاتا تھا اس کو چیک کیا تو دو ڈائیوڈ خراب تھے وہ بدل دیئے مگر چارجر کام نہیں کر رہا۔۔۔۔ جبکہ اے سے سپلائی دی جائے تو ڈائیوڈ کے آگے مین کیپسٹر چارج ھوتا ھے مگر نہ تو کوئی ایل ای ڈی جلتی ھے اور نہ ہی آوٹ پٹ کرنٹ شو ھوتا ھے۔۔۔ مہربانی کر کے اس کا کوئی حل بتائیں۔
