Sir, please let me know if a SMPS is designed in 90~265v input & output 12v 10amp. It is giving 10amp when voltage is above 150v, but when it is less than 150v the output voltage is ok without load. But when load test is done it gives only 7amp and not 10amp. However design claims 90v to 265v input. Please explain.

I have a pic microcontroller that generates a PWM signal but when I connect this PWM signal to the MOSFET gate(Transformer switching) the PWM signal voltage amplitude goes 1.5v or lesser hence MOSFET doesn't switch. In this situation what should I do.
