This is a very difficult rag to handle. Kaunshi Kannada is a mixture of darbari Kannada and malkauns and one has to get the right swars to get this raag correct. It is a Herculean task. Shrutiji here has done a wonderful job with this. Hats off to her.

"Shruthi" in sanskrit means pitch, swar, note, steadiness in sur, to the tanpura sur, another name for goddess saraswathi. "shruthi" is synonymous with all of this. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Shruti actually means 'micro note' appearing in between 12 notes (swars) in Hindustani Classical Music.There are 22 Shrutis as per classical music theory.
