really great video me and my wife watched it all the way thru and enjoyed it very much. I would like to ask you a question if I could. we live in North Carolina and we are going to be on the Ovation for the May 26th 2023 7 night cruise where Victoria is our last stop. I am finding myself confused about what we are going to need to get off the ship to go into Victoria. People say passport book, others say passport card, others say birth certificate, we are probably like everyone else we saw walking around, can we get by with birth certificate and what do we do as far as Royal Caribbean before we get to Victoria. Thanks so much for any advice.

Hi Donnie!! Thank you for the kind words and I am so glad you enjoyed the videos. In order to get onto the ship we had to have a passport so we just used our passport when we were in Victoria. The safest way to play it is to just bring your passport. That’s what we do for every cruise. Thanks for watching!!!

Greetings from up the road in Jarrell. My wife and I came across your videos about your Alaskan cruise on Quantum of the Seas. We will be taking that trip in 2 weeks. Is there anything else that you could share about the ship, laundry facilities, etc; that did not make your vlog?

Hey Clay. Greetings! I hope you are well. Unfortunately there are no laundry facilities on the Quantum. All laundry has to be sent out to cruise staff, they do provide a plastic bag and the cost is between $30 and $40 dollars a bag depending on what you are washing. The toughest thing we dealt with on the cruise was the endless days (sunlight). My bed was next to the veranda and I had constant light coming in and couldn't sleep very well. Bring some eye covers for sleeping if you are sensitive to light like I am. Know that you can get free dramamine (and other medications) at medical on the second floor. My daughter gets motion sickness so that was awesome. Bring binoculars so you can see the wildlife. Even the glaciers will have seals laying on them and having a pair of binoculars makes that a really fun experience. We also found out that it wasn't as cold as we thought it was going to be so be sure to have some "summer" clothes. My daughter also said be aware, that if you get the late night munchies, only the pizza place is open. So just make a note of that. If you are into the trivia get there early because seats fill up fast (same goes for the solarium) I hope you had an awesome time and please tell me how your trip goes! :). If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

@@FunNowRunLater thanks for the tips. My wife and I have never been on a cruise before and we have been doing a lot of research. It was nice to see something posted from another central Texan. We have looking up information on the internet about ports, places to eat, and things to do. Your videos have definitely given us many suggestions especially about the food. Thanks again for your response.
