Many pro and experienced home recorders are down on all things Behringer - but I think some of their budget equipment is just fine for home recorders. ART too. I have a Behringer mic and it is fine. Good review.
Real pros use what works. In the early days of Behringer they had some things that were not great, but today they have some really great stuff. Sometimes you don't want $5000 equipment being exposed to daily grunt work or in certain situations. Plus, a lot of the stuff just works great and isn't out of the majority of peoples price range. I'm not saying I'd choose a Behringer over a Neumann in every case, but in some cases I would. Ever been around a drummer 😂 A bit of eq and compression and the B-2 works great. And if I drop it, I'm just out $150 if it breaks the diaphragm instead of $600+ Everyone should use what works for them and not worry about the name. The guys in the early days of recording would kill to have the options we have today. Sure, a name brand can have a good reputation, and many do, but when people complain they can't start recording because they can't afford a giant studio worth of equipment, that's just wrong. Jeez... do these people have any idea what some of the greatest records of all time were recorded on? Rock on man, thanks for the view.
This Microphone Is Sold out Everywhere... I think there were 17 backorders for this thing on guitar center. Is it that popular or just old and out of production? I dont really know any other comparable mic to this.
Some people say the NT1a is a bit crisp and thin on the top end. Some say the B2 is too thick and muddy. It all depends. Either way, a little eq can fix both issues. You can't go wrong with either IMO. Just decide on what features you want and go for it.
I currently use the Samson c1 and it doesn't pick background noises. I'm scared that b2 pro might be too sensitive and pick everything around due to the double Diaphragm

I still have B1 so I finally decided to get B2. Really good mics.
Great review! Luvin' my B2 pro.😊
Hi sir, thanks for the review, did you use the foam included?
Wonder if this is essentially the same mic as the Jammin Pro B-20pro.

i cant choose between B2 pro and Rode Nt1a..... thanks for the review

yes, thank you :)
Please do Behringer B2 pro vs Rode nt1a vs Rode nt1.
Or recommend...
Thank you for your video. Is C1 a good condenser microphone for dubbing movies or B-2pro is better? Setting: Home Studio.
B2 would be a better mic overall, but there's no reason the C1 cant work. With compression and EQ, you should be able to get a great sound.
@@BenoniStudio Thank you! :D
Thanks men for the review, I have a question, what mic did use use to record this video?
Ummm, not sure, this was awhile ago. Probably the MXL 2008 for the voiceover part.
@@BenoniStudio thanks man, you are awesome
I can't decide between the AT2020 and the B2
They are both good inexpensive mics. You'll get more of a proximity effect from the B2 since it has a larger capsule. You may or may not want that.
My room is not treated... Can I turn off one Diaphragm? To reduce its sensitivity
17db self noise .. that's high.
At2020 is way higher
What will suit best for an opera tenor?. the B2 Pro or the Rode NT1a? Thanks!
They are both large diaphragm condensers of similar quality. Either one will work just fine.
@@BenoniStudio Thanks!
Any mod kits for the B2 Pro?
Nothing will make it better just give your money to a homeless person
How do you compare vs studio project b3
Is it good for recording vocals for rap song?
Sure. You'll want a pop screen though.
this or Samson C01?
The B-2 pro would be better. But the Samson C01 is probably fine.

Is it not good for recording songs?
You mean recording vocals, like singing? It's fine for that. That's just not the test I was doing here.
Is this microphone good for voice-overs? Does it really captures high and low frequencies well...? Plz guide me
Yes, it's a great budget choice for a large diaphragm condensor.
@@BenoniStudio ThnQ so much for your response 😇😇😇 That was really helpfull..... 😁
слишком грубая работа плагина шумоподавления.
Leave the mic alone it's perfect look at the crappy mixer you have
