- Introducing the second LED grow light to join the Just4Growers party - the Sun Par 2K Bloom LED by AgroLED. 300W passively cooled growlight with adjustable optics. I'm also running a Sun System AC/DE Fusion with a Digimax 1000W DE-HPS lamp dialled down to 600W.
Back to back LED videos?! Nooice!
Everest, Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I Appreciate it.
+Translucent Thanks buddy - your positivity and encouragement is greatly appreciated.
Your room is a cannabis grower's dream
ye I srsly doubt he needs a charcoal filter for the stuff he shows ^^
hahaha :D
bro...... you rock!!!
Hey Everest what's the umols per joules on this light
I guess this answers my question on the previous video about the bloom light. It will be interesting to see the comparisons on the different lights, even though I know you said it wasn't a comparison video.
OMG two videos in such a short time are you telling me there will be videos more often pls pls pls i love all your videos. :D and dont stop talking fast
Thanks Lexaf, yes - I've been VERY busy in the background putting together the "infrastructure" for much more with / without testing as part of my research work (day job) so this will mean more videos yes, many more videos - more often. :)
You are my hero...nuff said :) Care to share your chili nutrient recipe? A lot of people have a heck of a time growing super hot peppers (reapers, ghosts, scorpions) in Hydro setups with blossoms just falling off. Again...you are my hero. The end.
Plenty of Cal/Mag (100 - 300 PPM, depending on lifecycle stage) and equal parts Micro, Grow and Bloom for the majority of the lifecycle - I only up the bloom and micro components when there is visible fruit production. Don't go crazy with the nutrient strength, they are not particularly heavy feeders.
Everest Fernandez Thanks!!! Reapers are in the propagator 👍🌶️🔥
@@Powergrowsystems I love you guys!!! I have one of your cloners in my basement LOL and you guys have awesome cucamelon seeds!
My day is complete!
Another great video ! Much love amigo
Thanks Charles!
Thank you for taking the time Everest. Looking forward to the next video because we live in a hot dry climate (upper desert). Our outdoor hydroponics grow (coco coir, fabric bags, Jacks321) is growing too fast and massive. We've been wondering if we should be adding our nutrients at half strength. Thank you again...
If it is outdoors how can it be getting to big? Is it attracting attention or something? D:?
Thank you WuFFY, I'm referring to my tomato's, not my favorite herb...:) This is our first attempt using an indoor grow system, outdoors. I'm wondering if we are over-feeding since our humidity outdoors is usually about 10% (temps in the 90's). We are not disappointed in our results so far, just want to make sure the outdoor grow isn't getting overfed.
Nah, explosive growth and lots of height and bushiness isnt a sign of overfeeding. if anything it means youre feeding it almost perfectly. if you overfeed youre likely going to see things like nutrient burn [yellowing of the leaves edges and dying off plant matter and whatnot] or youll see the plant stressing with things like curling leaf tips and probably slower water intake.
primarily from my limited experience, overfeeding will generally start to yellow your plants leaves, and burn the edges of the leaves abit. those are the most noticeable signs.
tons of growth and huge size is a good thing. id say theres nothing to be worried about. :3
Hi Lagniappe, thanks for your question / comments. The good news is that tomatoes are very heavy feeders. They are native to the tropics, however, where humidity tends to be a lot higher than in the desert. 10% RH and temperatures in the 90s F equals a VPD of well over 4 kilopascals. You can look it up on this chart: opennlabs.com/vpd/VPD_calculator.php - what this means in practical terms is that your plants are being forced (perhaps that's too strong a term, but what I mean is - it's a passively driven process by 'drying effect' of the desert atmosphere) to uptake a lot of water just to keep cool and that has the knock-on effect of making them uptake a lot of solutes (dissolved fertilizers in the water) too. If you are noticing that the leaves seem a bit dark and are drooping down (and the media isn't dry) then you could try reducing your nutrient strength, but more gradually, say 10 - 20% at a time. What are you running at right now? Also, do you test the run off from your pots too? On the plus side, coco coir is a great and highly forgiving growing medium. What size are your fabric bags?
Thank you Everest, and thank you for that link. According to the scale we are at 58.22 at 90 degrees/10% RH, and 84.82 at 100 degrees/10% RH. We are currently using Jacks Hydroponics from RJ Peters at full strength (3gram per gal 5-12-26, 2gram per gal. 15-0-0, and 1gram per gal. epsom salt). Maybe 10% of the leaves are curled at the tips but the color looks really good and lush. No yellowing or burned tips. Our pH is roughly 6.5. We are using 5 gal root pouch fabric bags. We're thinking we might want to run them at half strength on our nutrients. We are new to hydroponics and are blown-away by this growth--and are hoping it's mostly normal. Thank you again...
i think u should do a cannabis tent if u dont allready i love ur channel bro ur a true indoor farmer
You're not the first person to ask that Mass Gass. It would be a very special challenge indeed-despite the apparent ease of cultivation belied by its super fast growth rates-second only to bamboo I believe. For one thing, it has very high light requirements-approximately a Daily Light Integral (DLI) of 30 - 35 mol during flowering. Secondly, it is photoperiodic (short day), meaning you have to supply all that light in 11.5 - 12 hours (for generative production). Thirdly, you would have to supply all this light artificially without temperatures rising above 75F-and preferably less as maturity approaches, because it is native to the sub-tropics at altitudes of 6000 - 7500 feet where it's much cooler. Fourthly, at those altitudes there is markedly increased UV-B and UV-A - radiation to which it is well-adapted - but which most grow lights lack. Finally, it's a heavy feeder and prodigious transpirer-given that it has adapted to higher altitudes were VPDs are naturally higher-so you would have to be careful to keep humidity levels low during generative production. As such I deeply respect and salute my brothers and sisters who take on this botanical challenge in jurisdictions where it is legal to do so. Perhaps I should travel to the west coast of the US or Canada and pay some of them a friendly visit. I'm sure it would be a fantastic learning experience.
i think u could teach them a thing or 2 id be really interested in seeing u kill it i love watching the peppers n tomatos but ganja is my favorite plant 2 grow im gona take a few pointers from this and try them on my channel lastly i think all ur hps n LED lights would just kill it under a scrog
Mass Gass420 if u have any questions let me know I will help I make my own lights the light that he is showing when this video is actually a decent light very good efficiency and you can't do wrong with buying it its long as you get it for a good deal please describe to my channel please show growers love and like the videoruclips.net/video/tUw_uERIym4/видео.html
YES YES YES glad to see DWC, LED and shout out to bluelab guardian and method seven!! looking good my amigo!! is your DWC recirc??
It is not - just simple buckets. After this grow I may well take things to the next level.
well now I'm waiting for the next video... cause I have low hygro and i like to feed a lot :)

nice one everest. another great video but what's in the middle tent?
+condo_grower1 Leftmost tent: AC/DE; Middle: Sun Par Bloom; Rightmost: Sun Par Grow (DWC)
Lol best outro
Just started using rock wool would appreciate to hear your view on how best to water them, in drip integration.
+bill talor Bill, you're on the money! That very video is coming this month!
Everest Fernandez. Thanks Everest can't wait, had cutting that wouldn't root in rock wool cubes . Dried them out and they look much better gonna have to see if they root. Looking forward to the video, first time using rock hope I get it right.

700 USD for a single 300W LED light?!
I'm Building a DIY LED light with with 6 Vero29(SE) COBs, total cost is ~ 550 USD and can go up to 460W and will use it to replace a 1000W HPS during summer.
That sounds awesome David. If you post any videos online please let me know. I'm not at the DIY LED stage yet - there are some awesome RUclipsrs out there like growmau5 who are. Well worth checking out.
I wish I could make videos of your quality man!
Absolutely, growmau5 is where I got all the numbers for the light, plus his DIY tutorial series is so good!
Love your videos, thanks for all the good info.
Everest Fernandez Ernest....please check out my lighting. 😊
Everest would you recommend this led light?
For a small closet grow, yes.
Just a high bay
'Soft nesh metting' ;)
+Bob Heheheh my metting really feels the cold. :) good spot!
have you done testing with far red light ?
+theunderdog sunstrider No amigo but it's high up the list.
Everest Fernandez seem some intresting stuff about it. make plant sleep in 15 min and faster harvest + bigger yealds . but only saw a few vids on it
+theunderdog sunstrider I'm aware of the claims and some academic studies in decent plant science journals - certainly light is a signal as well as an energy source. Far red is prevalent at sun set, it makes a lot of sense.
i saw it pass on growmau5 his chan and lookt intresting to say the least , ps your chan has helpt me a lot so thx everest :-) .
Хороший свет
Да, я очень доволен этим.
I need the VPD vid bro get on it!
Please
+Kcarviper It's the next one up amigo :)
Dang.. All this tech is so expensive!
My thoughts exactly.
You sound like my wife. :)
haha led is still expensive will be some time before it will drop to a decent price for a decent quality and is in my opinion only good for hot summers :p
You should grow weed
I FUCKING LOVE COCAINE! -Everest 2017
sting on the ring lolol
#Sing while you're stinging! Lol.
Love your vids, man. Please grow weed? Your view count and subs would skyrocket 👍
If it's not spectrum king I don't want it .
+They Live We Sleep Tell me more amigo. What is it about Spectrum King and their offerings that makes you so fiercely loyal to their brand? Which fixtures have you tried? I'm intrigued to find out more.
