Just a couple of rule clarifications- The death guard team had one two many "special weapons". You can't include a gunner, heavy gunner or fighter in the same fire team. Also a model effected by only in death does duty end can't retain hits in combat, this is addressed in the core rules designers commentary. Anyway, great batrep as always. Consistently the best kill team batreps on RUclips. Can't wait for the next one!

I haven't played yet but can you actually move like the charge in 22:35 ? The measurement is taken in a straight line touching the wall but if we divide the movement the model couldn't physically move like that. Because of the base size it would have to go much more around this corner so that the base wouldn't overlap the corner. I am asking because in Warmachine we have small, inch long, crescent shaped "steppers" for situations like that. Without them many people measure in a straight lines around corners which makes for impossible moves.
Of the three "specialists" for DG, you can only have 1 per fire team, 2 per kill team. So youd have to drop one of the gunner, HG, or fighter for a regular warrior.
The Death guard are so tough. I wouldn't mind seeing them face assault intercessors given their recent wins. That would be a hard battle to call. I love your production values by the way and you both do a terrific job of keeping the commentary fun but always easy to follow. Happy New year folks.

@@GrimdarkGamers Definitely got my fingers crossed for a wd death guard, compendium dg vs csm definitely feels like I'm repeatedly slamming my head into a wall, every once in a while I win but only just lol. Super hyped for nachmund, im already splitting it with a pal and I called dibs on the corsairs. I just hope I can have my ksons finished before its out so I can keep my pile of grey shame to a minimum.
Thanks ! The auto-medicae turned out pretty useful even if I only needed to use it the once. Alas it’s a piece of equipment specific to that scenario alone!
as always, spectacular work! I love the high quality battle reports. Great editing, great commentary, good humor. Just always awesome. rules quibble: cant fight when using Only In Death. You're still considered "incapacitated" and because of this, you cant resolve hits in combat.
Hey this channel keeps getting better. The game was maybe a bit unbalanced (loyalist marines don't really have many options to do damage or tank shots unfortunately). Anyways, great content, keep it coming!!:)
Glad you enjoyed the video! The game was definitely leaning more on the narrative side of things, we wanted to see how possible it would be for the Blood Angels to succeed with a very specific objective. Space marines in general though need a massive boost!
Good battle report. Hopefully in the next one Jester can play a team that isn’t always fighting uphill (F tier vs C tier is a bit unfair). That she did as well as she did is a testament to her ability as a player.
Yep she did great! It was a very tough match up which is what we wanted going into this to see if given one very specific objective could the space marines accomplish that goal. The answer basically speaks for itself, it’s time for some bespoke marine teams !

@@TheDeathbrlnger Yeah they're generic "Faction Tac Op" cards. There was a white dwarf issue a couple of months ago (issue 474, I think), which came with cards for some of the specific teams, including the ones in the Octarius set.

Question, are you actually able to stack equipment on one guy like that?
Yep, you just can’t take multiple instances of the same type equipment (so no stacking multiple frag grenades on a single operative, for example).
Sir against custodes You had 6 plague Marine but in this game u have 5 plague Marine why the difference
The Custodes vs Deathguard game was after the errata came out which gave most marine based teams an extra warrior.
