    The fact that the Nobel Peace Prize was not awarded to Cuban doctors this year is an injustice of the highest order.

      I would agree, but that implies that the Nobel peace prize wasn't already a complete farce. Love or hate Obama, he was given a peace prize despite invading 7 counties and ordering an airstrike that killed another Nobel peace prize recipient. It would be unfair to put all of that at his feet since the US is a plutocracy ruled by the rich and Military Industrial Complex, but still, it is rather damning evidence that the Nobel peace prize is a farce.

    Absolutely phenomenal, thank you so much for doing the absolutely wonderful revolutionary man that was Fidel Castro, justice. I can assuredly say that this further reminded me that history certainly did absolve him. Fantastic acting, and fantastic delivery. Great job man. Viva Fidel! Viva la revolucion! Hasta la victoria siempre!

      From one monster to the next. This shouldn’t exist as a way to encourage you to a side but to acknowledge history. Batista was a monster. Castro was just a different breed.

      @@kandimallakotaiah4601 I ask people to do the same thing for me, and everyone has so many different things to say. He’s an icon and a hero to some, but to some more (Cubans *seem* to think this ->) he’s an anti-peace tyrant.
      When you do learn about him use scrutiny and discretion. But you probably know to do that by now. A lot of misinformation, you know..

      Well, this series of videos star Shakespearean-trained actors and actresses. Ian McKellen, Andrew Scott, Derek Jacobi, Fiona Shaw. I agree that it helps give weight and authority to have actors perform these speeches like classical monologues.

    Oh Fidel, rest in power, you magnificent magnificent man. None have ever challenged empire as you have, none have come as close to break the façade of the "free world" as you did. Hasta la victoria siempre Commandante. Your mortal husk may have died but your ideas will live on for a thousand years. Wherever the people find themselves disenfranchised YOU ARE THERE, wherever the downthrodden find themselves ground down by the machinations of capitalism YOU ARE THERE, wherever men and women struggle for dignity, freedom and the most basic human rights YOU ARE THERE.       The real speech is something like 50 pages. Among st the pages is a very real and practical manifesto for Cuban revolution. Probably wouldn't make for an entertaining youtube video tho
