The good thing about Europe is that it reminds everyone in the UK how we get the shitty end of the stick with public transport - we are pathetic in comparison
jobigman2008 it’s nothing to do with whether we’re part of Europe or not - we’ve been part of Europe of 40+ years and still have an archaic rail network and rail staff that think they’re more important than they really are - just like the miner strikes in the 80’s. I can’t wait for autonomous/driverless trains - the drivers and guards can moan all they like in the queue for job seekers allowance. We have road routes built by the Romans and trains that are 30 years out of date - Pathetic really
I love how u travel around with all forms of transport and show it.Most vloggers never do.Its realy helpfull in planning trips.U usually show the different options too.Keep posting these
I love these travel vlogs - if you're not in a huge hurry I can also highly recommend doing it this way, it's part of the experience, especially if you love train travel like Shawn clearly does. It's so easy and surprisingly inexpensive too. That accommodation looks great, but to be honest you can't go too wrong in Rust, just depends at which end of the resort you prefer to be at. Which reminds me, need to get back to EP soon, look forward to the park vlogs, it's my favourite park in Europe.
Temptation is real!!! Think I might end up doing a similar trip in 2020......let’s just say 10 years of friendship with my best friend Chloe is going to be a good one
I love the French SNCF trains, especially the TGV Duplex, I could easily spend a full afternoon on one and just watch the world go by, such lovely journeys, great vlog Shaun 👍
Fantastic video as always Shawn! Hope your having a wonderful time, definitely love your travel vlogs and how much detail you put in! Absolutely fantastic xx
Hi shawn ,very helpful and interesting travel advice, and the final destination at Europa park is amazing, probably the best lite theme park at Christmas.
Brilliant and shows just how easy it can be to do a trip that seems bigger than you made it look :) I have a couple questions and youre the best person to ask. Me and me and my husband are wanting to take our 4year old and our almost 2 year old away for christmas 2019. Which park would be best to take them out of this one, disney world, dosneyland or portadventura? and which would be cheapest way to do it? We havent yet visited any park outside england so were unsure. I only have a merlin pass so no clue about parks outside england.
Every 2 weeks I go on transpennine to Manchester Victoria from Northallerton every time I go it’s always delayed the company in the uk is not that good
Most of Europes railways were blown up by us during the war so they could start again and build double-decker however railways in Britain are from the 1800s so weren't designed to take double-decker also BR was just as bad if not worse for running trains its just the nature of Britain i guess.
Shawn... Can you tell me if the Europa Park Hopping Pass is going to be available in the future? I want to do the Hopping Pass experience in 2020, but I can't find them online anymore, outside the winter season of 2019... Please ask around! Love your vlogs! Greetings from the Netherlands!
Great vlog , Shawn! Looking at doing a few days out in Europe ( not at theme Parks ) but getting the train here , there & everywhere. How much was this trip from Paris to Germany in total?
Theme Park Worldwide Fair enough. I took the train from Baden Baden to Europa last year and it was lovely. I would love to see double decker trains in the UK
Thanks for your suggestion, as they are theme park related I like to keep them on here. AdventureShawn is for anything that doesn’t relate to theme parks at all!
Hi Shawn, try Carpe Diem appartment at some point, it has a kitchen and two bedrooms plus a lounge, think it was about 200 quid for 5 nights sleeps 6 people but 2 of us rented it, fantastic value, and the lady that runs it was lovely, down the street from Pension Mariana :)
Theme park world wide i want to go to europe park in december and want to sleep in the same apartment where you sleep but i can't find it on bookin.com can you spell it fore my plies so i can find it😁
Liking the video clip and you have done an incredible job on the edit! If you have time let me know what you think of my latest video just need some feedback! 😃
Thank you for watching! Check out my day one vlog from Europa Park via the following link: ruclips.net/video/qxmrz8jKOeE/видео.html
Thank you for this vlog. It was very helpful. Any chance you might have a similar video on how to get from Disneyland Paris to Phantasialand?
Can't wait for the Europa Park vlogs!
Same! :D
The good thing about Europe is that it reminds everyone in the UK how we get the shitty end of the stick with public transport - we are pathetic in comparison
Take Germany for example, Koln Airport all the way to Brühl was like £3 when I went to Phantasialand

Our public transport definitely needs improvements!
Paris? Holy cow! Adventure Shawn missed the vlog of a lifetime!

Thank you, I will do!

Yay! I've been waiting for the yearly Europa Park vlog series.
I hope you enjoy the vlogs, both day one and two are now online!
4:00 Charles le Hell 🤭 rewatching the vlogs
I’d have gotten lost a dozen times with all of these changes Shawn, great video, really useful ✌🏼
It was good fun! Thanks for watching Mark
Hi shawn ,very helpful and interesting travel advice, and the final destination at Europa park is amazing, probably the best lite theme park at Christmas.
Thanks for watching
Love the European double decker trains but think they might struggle with our many lovely but low bridges 😊
Fantastic
This has inspired me to think of visiting now.
Looks a great trip.
The only reason there's a plant in the toilet is so you get the feeling that you're outdoors. It should give you a nice and relaxing feeling.
That makes sense, thanks for the information!
You can also go from Disneyland to Strasbourg with one TGV and take the bus to europa park from there. Way shorter.
You can indeed!
Loving these travel vlogs would love to do what you do, and doing it on your own is great to see
Thanks for watching
Great Video Shaun!! looking forward to the day one vlog.
Both the day one and two vlogs are now online!
DOUBLE DECKER TRAINS. 😍
Brilliant and shows just how easy it can be to do a trip that seems bigger than you made it look :)

Thanks!
Shawn I Hope Your In YT Rewind 2018! (It's Out In 2 Days)
Same 😁
No he doesn’t have enough attention. Sadly
Oh well, Shawn does desserve more Attention.
Shawn hasn't been controversial enough to get in rewind.
Another great Travel Vlog Shawn.
Brilliant information on travelling in France
Thanks for watching
can you please do a review of train from Europa Park to Gardaland park in Italy. thanks
Thanks for your suggestion

The DB (german trains) are often delayed ;)
Thanks for the information!
Hope you had real fun at Europa park.
I did indeed!
I love your travel Vlogs 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Ur such a g! Great vlog as usual m8 😀
Thank you!
Wow what an enjoyable tour!
It was great fun!
Interesting locations for travel vlog 🎢😄

I'm not sure on this at the moment, it's best to keep checking the parks official website
Thank you for your reply! Kronasar will be hotel number 6, so I'm looking for a six night, seven day's stay with the Hopping Pass in 2020
Great vlog , Shawn! Looking at doing a few days out in Europe ( not at theme Parks ) but getting the train here , there & everywhere. How much was this trip from Paris to Germany in total?
It was around 25 Euro
Didn't realise it was possible to get a train and bus to europa from Strasbourg, we ended up getting a fairly expensive uber to europa from Strasbourg
Top vlog Shaun!
Thank you!
That's why I always take my car. You just get in and drive till you arrive. Not much planning needed :)
The adventure is the fun part!
I enjoy trying the transport but also will be driving to Efteling next week
Awesome!
are the trains the same ? this route is still possible ?
from train station in disney to the one close to europa park, whats the time lenght ?
I believe so
Would it be cheaper to fly from Paris to Basel/Strasbourg/Baden-Baden? This is something I may do in the future
It might be, I fancied trying the train!
Theme Park Worldwide Fair enough. I took the train from Baden Baden to Europa last year and it was lovely. I would love to see double decker trains in the UK
Shaun off topic but what handheld camera do you use for your vlogs ??
I use a Sony Camcorder for these videos
Well edited.
Thank you!
Oh no shawn you didn't pronunce "gare de l'est " properly, but anyway I love your videos; kisses from france !!!
I always try my best with pronunciation but never seem to do very well!
That’s so confusing the place you was in was Strasbourg in France but there is also a town in Germany with the similar name Straussberg.
I was there yesterday
Flixbus operates a direct bus from Strasbourg to Europapark (takes an hour)
They do indeed, there's plenty of different options which is good!
For the hotel hopping pass can travel on train or does have to be plane
You can travel any way you want to
Interesting vlog Theme Park Worldwide, 👌
Thank you!
Your mic made you sound like a robot with echo in the beginning?
It did seem to!
Germany????? WOAH
Are you doing any other parks in Germany
phantasialand later this month
Europapark - - > efteling - - > phantasialand
Phantasialand and Efteling will be coming up next week!
Wish y a merry Christmas from John
How much was the whole trip by train
Around 25 Euro
Quick Suggestion:
I personally think that the travel vlogs would suit Adventure Shawn better then TPW.
Thanks for your suggestion, as they are theme park related I like to keep them on here. AdventureShawn is for anything that doesn’t relate to theme parks at all!

Thanks for your suggestion!
American trip next year are you going to new york
All will be revealed in early 2019!
Paris is always a good idea!! 😄 Checkout my last travel video of Paris, shot in one year with a hundred travelers 😉
a serious lack of 'Yellow Wests' in the Paris section of the vlog.. :P
I was lucky that I didn’t have to pass through any of the areas affected
It was. It could made for some exciting videos, but also probably make travel difficult. :)
Fist one
Europa or Disney land if I can only visit one
It's tough, I enjoy them both!
You do all that to ride some rides
I do indeed!
Theme park world wide i want to go to europe park in december and want to sleep in the same apartment where you sleep but i can't find it on bookin.com can you spell it fore my plies so i can find it😁
I can't seem to find it now either sadly

TGV, the best highspeed train worldwide.
Cheaper than the Japanese one and safer than the ICE
It was great, really enjoyed it
